A fantastic morning with our guide Linda. The food was excellent, and a great introduction to Hawker food and markets. Linda's knowledge of the dishes, the history of them and Singapore as a whole was fascinating and helped to understand how food is so central to life here. Would highly recommend. Go with an empty stomach!
This was an amazing experience delivered by a woman with a love and passion for her food and her culture that is unparalleled. I feel so blessed that I found her and was able to hear her wonderful stories and lessons, eat some OUTSTANDING Michelin Star street food made with so much love, and meet a group of new friends from around the globe that made the experience even more fun. Traveling alone doesn’t make you feel alone when you have such a great time as this! Thank you!
Swee Lin was an amazing tour guide! We loved learning about the history of the food and the people who brought it to Singapore. All the food was delicious and I enjoyed the shops we stopped in along the way. One of the hawker centre's was closed for cleaning but we didn't feel we missed out because of all the amazing food we ate and everything we learned.
This is a great experience where you get to understand the roots of the cuisine, the culture that has developed and more importantly the food tastings during the tour. Swee Lin is a great guide and provides great insights. Take the tour. You won’t be disappointed.
Absolutely wonderful! All of the food was delicious, and it was all ready in advance so we didn’t have to wait in line. Marcus had so much insight into the local culture, history, and most importantly where to get the best food. Highly recommend!
This is a comprehensive tour of three hawker centres, with walks through china town.

Our tour guide Jeffery was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the area and how the food helped shaped it. All of the food was amazing and delicious. The variety was great. Definitely come hungry!
Good food with a lot of culture & history. Tour guides give you a lot of support (water, wet wipes).
If you want to experience the best Hawker food and learn a bit of the culture at the same time, this is the tour for you. You won’t leave hungry for sure! Big Jon was so informative and attentive, willing to answer all our questions and not at all sales pitchie. Definitely worth it!
This is a must do tour for anyone visiting Singapore! It’s not just a food tour, it’s an experience. The meetup was very well organized. Marcus led us through several hawker food courts, provided us with delicious food and gave an explanation for everything we ate. We were able to take pictures with many of the owners of the stalls and learn about their history with the food. The food experience ranged from bbq pork to laksa to native fruit and desserts. We ate every well known food (and others that were new to me). You will be well fed and satisfied by the end! His trusty assistant Ng was very helpful and friendly. In addition to the food, we also learned a great deal about the history of Singapore, specifically history of Chinatown and the surrounding areas. The visit includes the visit to the Buddha relic temple where Marcus gave us more information than any guidebook could. We had a wonderful day and I would do this tour again!
A great way to experience local food in under 4 hours. Highly recommended for the first-time visit to Singapore. Everything is taken care of, food and drink. So, you do not have to buy anything by yourself.
We had a great morning with Swee Lin who ensured that we sampled a great variety of foods and was also able to relay the history of the area and the foods in an engaging and fun way.
Jeffrey and Kai were great guides! They led us through various dishes and interesting cultural points throughout the tour. We sampled Laksa, Hainese chicken, the famous Kaya toast and other tasty tidbits. Really, a great introduction to the Singaporean food scene!
Heng was great, very knowledgeable and the food was amazing, would definitely recommend the foodie tour, have gone back to those places to eat again!
We loved, loved, loved our experience! William and Pauline were wonderful. They were super knowledgeable about Singapore and they made excellent food suggestions. We were thoroughly impressed with the street food and the overall cultural experience. Only advice I can give, bring an empty stomach because you will be full before you know it!

This tour was amazing!!! The description does not even begin to describe the experience you will have. Marcus was an amazingly engaging and informed guide who provided extensive insight into the history and culture of Singapore. Megan was his backbone who ensured that everything was set up in advance and our experience was seamless. I cannot recommend this tour with this team enough. You will not be disappointed!
I liked the tour but I can’t eat spicy foods. I think it would be good if he has an alternative non spicy food for every spicy food in the tour menu.
Mr William shared both his lifelong knowledge of Singapore’s heritage and culinary delights. This is a a Michelin starred Hawker tour so be ready for the true Hawker experience - no AirCon but the food was unforgettable. We just moved to Singapore for work and now know one of the best places to chow down.
