Cooking class and wet market tour

Colin was a great tour guide, chef and teacher. We enjoyed visiting the wet market seeing the vendors: vegetables, meat and fish, especially the stingray. We also enjoyed our breakfast and coffee. Colin continues to impress and teach us about cooking some wonderful dishes. We learn so much and would recommend this tour.

Great Local’s Perspective!

William was awesome! In addition to taking us to a coffee shop and hawker center where only locals go (for a true Singaporean experience) he also provided us with a tremendous amount of history and context for the food we were eating. We learned so much about the local customs and way of life in Singapore. It was overall a great experience and, of course, we left being stuffed from all the food. He was also very accommodating of our desire to see the Marina shows in the evening and went out of his way to make sure we were there on time.

Swee Lin was an amazing...

Swee Lin was an amazing tour guide! We loved learning about the history of the food and the people who brought it to Singapore. All the food was delicious and I enjoyed the shops we stopped in along the way. One of the hawker centre's was closed for cleaning but we didn't feel we missed out because of all the amazing food we ate and everything we learned.

Our introduction to Singapore

Food tour is almost a misnomer for this tour. I had chosen an early start so some of the places were closed. HJ our guide was able to compensate by changing the itinerary on the fly. The food choices were great and plentiful. The biggest issue is not being able to finish it all, if you want to have room for all the options. What the highlight of the tour was for us was the detour to see the Singapore City Gallery. HJs insights and knowledge was perfect as he was able to highlight the major milestones of the development of Singapore. Feedback for Viator the link on how to get to the meeting point takes you to Chinatown MRT exit E rather than the Exit A which is where the tour was scheduled to start from. Again HJ had sent me his number and we were able to clear up any confusion. Overall was a great introduction to Singapore for us with a great guide who was down to earth, informative and a genuinely nice person.

He led us around multiple neighborhoods, providing a great level of detail for the history of the areas, supplemented with personal anecdotes and insight into Singaporean culture only a local would know. All the food stops were delicious, too! After the tour, he provided some additional recommendations for the the rest of our time in the city. Would highly recommend this tour with Gary!

Foodie Bike Tour

We had an amazing time on the Singapore Bike & Bites Tour! It was the perfect way to experience the city beyond the typical tourist attractions. Cycling through Chinatown, Little India, Kampong Glam, and the Singapore River gave us a much deeper appreciation for Singapore’s history, culture, and neighborhoods. Our guide, Yong, was outstanding. He was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about sharing Singapore’s history, local traditions, and food culture. He kept the pace comfortable, made everyone feel safe on the bikes, and was always happy to answer questions. The food stops were excellent and introduced us to local favorites we probably never would have found on our own. From traditional breakfast dishes and kopi to hawker center specialties and delicious local snacks, everything was authentic and delicious. This tour ended up being one of the highlights of our trip to Singapore. If you’re looking for a fun, active way to explore the city while eating amazing local food, I can’t recommend this tour—and Yong as your guide—highly enough!

A must do tour in Singapore!!

We had a fantastic time on this tour and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Singapore. Everything was very well organised from pickup through to the end of the evening. Our tour guide, Kavin, was friendly, knowledgeable and kept everything running smoothly while sharing lots of interesting information along the way. The river cruise was beautiful, the views of the Merlion were amazing, and both the Garden Rhapsody and Spectra light shows were absolutely magical at night. At the end of the tour, Kavin was happy to drop us at Satay Street for some well deserved amazing food which was the perfect way to end the evening. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience and would definitely do it again!
