Awesome experience
Awesome food and in places we would not normally explore.
Had a great guide (William) who gave us an indepth historical account of the various districts we went though and an explanation of the food we were eating. Plenty of food to eat and a really good variety.
William was committed to giving us an authentic experience.

Don’t hesitate to book this tour!
This tour was exceptional! Gerry is laid back, has a great sense of humour, and makes everyone in the group feel comfortable. He’s also knowledgeable and well organised. We had a great day exploring Chinatown, Little India and Kampong Glam, sampling a wide (and generous!) array of foods, and learning about the culture and history of each area. Gerry comes equipped with his iPad to show you historical photographs of each area, as well as some incredible artefacts that he will share with you throughout the day. The day was unhurried (it actually ended up being much longer than the advertised 5.5 hours) and absolutely everything was included in the price we paid, including public transport and a premium grab back to our hotel (or anywhere else we might’ve liked to go). We had never done a food tour before, but this one has set the bar high! Do yourself a favour and book this tour - you will not be disappointed! My husband and I would even do it again! It’s also worth going early in your stay so that you feel confident going to hawkers centres yourself and will know what to order again. Gerry takes a maximum of eight people but told us he will run the tour even if there’s only one! It is intimate and fun. You will not regret spending the money.

A must-do in Singapore
Jenn was very knowledgeable and provided information on Singapore history, culture, food and education. We appreciated her cooking techniques and advice on spices. We made Biryani, Masala chicken, Raita, and rice. Food Playground is clean, bright, and welcoming. We highly recommend this amazing experience! We appreciated Jenn’s patience, expertise and welcoming nature.

Fun and enlightening experience
Alfred was prompt, patient, and fun! We tasted dried pork, popish (spring rolls - fried and steamed), sugar cane juice, chicken and rice or noodles, tart lemon drink, and shaved ice with coconut, beans and sugar cane syrup. Such a fun experience - the history and culture information was interesting and the food was exciting.

A tour to learn about and experience Singapore
Ronnie was an excellent tour guide! He was very knowledgeable on Singapore’s history and cultures. This tour takes you to three very distinct areas which were all interesting. It was also great to sample lots of different drinks and dishes that we wouldn’t have found ourselves, a lot of which were very refreshing in the hot weather.

Foodie Bike Tour
We had an amazing time on the Singapore Bike & Bites Tour! It was the perfect way to experience the city beyond the typical tourist attractions. Cycling through Chinatown, Little India, Kampong Glam, and the Singapore River gave us a much deeper appreciation for Singapore’s history, culture, and neighborhoods.
Our guide, Yong, was outstanding. He was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about sharing Singapore’s history, local traditions, and food culture. He kept the pace comfortable, made everyone feel safe on the bikes, and was always happy to answer questions.
The food stops were excellent and introduced us to local favorites we probably never would have found on our own. From traditional breakfast dishes and kopi to hawker center specialties and delicious local snacks, everything was authentic and delicious.
This tour ended up being one of the highlights of our trip to Singapore. If you’re looking for a fun, active way to explore the city while eating amazing local food, I can’t recommend this tour—and Yong as your guide—highly enough!

Taste sensation.
Our private tour with just us and our guide TENG was great. We walked and caught the train between cultural areas. The food was very tasty and the cultural history was fascinating we learned so much more than if we’d just walked around on our own. Thoroughly enjoyed the morning.

Shirley was our tour...
Shirley was our tour guide - she shared valuable knowledge on both the history of the food and the history of Singapore. She was friendly and professional. The tour had a good range of local food at local places and there was enough walking that you felt comfortable after eating the different foods.

Jeffrey and Kai were...
Jeffrey and Kai were great guides! They led us through various dishes and interesting cultural points throughout the tour. We sampled Laksa, Hainese chicken, the famous Kaya toast and other tasty tidbits. Really, a great introduction to the Singaporean food scene!

A must do tour in Singapore!!
We had a fantastic time on this tour and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Singapore. Everything was very well organised from pickup through to the end of the evening. Our tour guide, Kavin, was friendly, knowledgeable and kept everything running smoothly while sharing lots of interesting information along the way.
The river cruise was beautiful, the views of the Merlion were amazing, and both the Garden Rhapsody and Spectra light shows were absolutely magical at night. At the end of the tour, Kavin was happy to drop us at Satay Street for some well deserved amazing food which was the perfect way to end the evening. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience and would definitely do it again!

Excellent class, we learned a lot
I took this class with my 13yo son, who loves to cook, and we had a great time cooking and then eating our creations. It was quite a long class that included the wet market tour, cooking, and then eating, and chef Denise was awesome! She was very knowledgeable and we learned so much. Everyone kind of hung out at the end and no one was in a rush to leave, we had such a good time and the food (Hainan Chicken, Ngo Hiang) we had made was so delicious.
