Involves climbing and small spaces (cave). We had snow so the visibility was limited but still a wonderful experience. Daphne was our guide and she is excellent and was very knowledgeable and helpful for those who were not as "fit" as others.. Would go again!

This tour visits the scenic villages where iconic scenes of the Godfather trilogy were filmed. There were 5 of us in a spacious van. Our driver was knowledge, and our stop at Bar Vitelli and the restaurant later for lunch were wonderful as well. All in all, a great way to spend the day!

Beautiful and varied scenery. Salvatore was acharming and helpful host. The exercise was enough of a challenge without being exhausting. The host gave us plenty of time to rest whenever someone was tired. The food was amazing, something I'd not had before.

Enjoyable experience

The tour was great and very well organized. Our guide Pepe was knowledgeable and friendly, and we really enjoyed learning about the area. Unfortunately, due to heavy snow, we weren’t able to climb Mt. Etna as planned, but this was for safety reasons and understandable. Taormina village was absolutely beautiful and made the day very worthwhile. Overall, a very enjoyable experience and still highly recommended.

Great full day trip

It is a long day! And can be very hot and sunny—be prepared! But our driver, Francisco (hope I have that correct!), was fantastic! He gave good instructions on where to meet and gave adequate time for each adventure. It is not a guided tour (and taking the audio tours are problematic for many reasons), but there are signs and the driver also provides info packets about each location. Sights worth seeing!!!

A relaxed tour that gave...

A relaxed tour that gave a good experience of Mt Etna. You don't go up the cable car or near to the peak, but you end up seeing and walking around the lower craters. Unfortunately, we missed out on the sunset due to bad luck with the weather in mid October. Though you can change the date with some notice if your vacation schedule is flexible, which ours was not; so check the weather! However we still enjoyed the crater with fog rolling in and out, completely clear to silent hill in seconds, it really added to the surreal scene of the lava rocks. Beforehand we had gone to a honey producer where we tried local produce including different types of honey and snacks. We also went down into a small lava cave which had formed from previous lava flows. Despite the weather, Angelo kept us in good spirits and was very informative of the history of the region and of the volcano. I was also very impressed at how he was able to easily accommodate the split language group of French and English (and let me practice my Italian).

A Must Do!

This tour was probably the best tour we have ever taken! Organized and breathtaking! We were on a small speed boat (no more than 12 people) and our guide Vito was the best! He truly loves what he does and it shows! The places he took us too to swim were the best we have ever seen. Thank you Vito for an unforgettable experience we will be back!

Just right

This opera experience was just right. I wanted to experience Italian opera while in Italy, but did not think I could sit through a whole full opera so this really hit the spot. It's a small intimate theater with excellent singers and musicians. The only problem was that it was difficult to find and surprisingly none of the shopkeepers could give us directions

Couldn’t get to Etna due to weather did two wineries instead. Roberto C was a wonderful informative and entertaining guide who is passionate about Mt Etna and surrounds.
