Awesome!
My family and I had such an amazing time on this food tour—it was honestly one of the highlights of my trip. Every stop was thoughtfully chosen and gave a really authentic taste of the local food scene. There was such a great variety, from savory bites to comforting classics, and everything felt fresh and full of flavor.
My absolute favorites were the scallion noodles, which were perfectly cooked and incredibly juicy, the pan-fried buns with their crispy bottoms and flavorful filling, and of course the xiao long bao, which were just bursting with rich, delicious broth. Each dish felt like a little experience on its own.
What really made the tour special though was Jim. He was so kind, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about the food and culture. He took the time to explain the history behind the dishes and made sure everyone felt comfortable and engaged throughout. You could tell he truly cared about giving us the best experience possible.
Overall, it was such a memorable and enjoyable experience—I’d highly recommend this food tour to anyone who wants to explore amazing food while learning more about the local culture. Definitely come hungry!

Lovely little canal village
We enjoyed our tour. The guide Micheal went all out to make this a very informative and enjoyable trip. The garden was pretty and strolling around the town was fun. Our guide helped us get food as per our request too as we had dietary restrictions. Highly recommend this tour and give five stars to our guide.

We had a lovely day in Hangzhou with Kimi as our guide. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and kept us busy. We had a boat trip on West Lake, followed by a trip to the Longjing tea farm then a fantastic lunch trying some freshly cooked Chinese dishes. The afternoon was spent at the Lingyin Temple. Would definitely recommend this trip

This tour was just what I...
This tour was just what I wanted to visit Zhujiaiao. Because we had already seen many of the sights in Shanghai I didn't want to go on a longer tour. The length of this one was perfect. Kalvin and the driver picked us up at our hotel at 10:00 am sharp. The car was very clean and comfortable, and the driver was highly competent. Kalvin was very knowledgeable and a great host. We had a delicious lunch and had a thoroughly pleasant day. On a side note, Kalvin pointed out a restroom to use before the long drive back to the city. It was spotlessly clean, and I was pleased to see that the accessible cubical at the far end had a western toilet!

It's a big day out but...
It's a big day out but worth the experience. Our guide Leo was extremely good and did his best to ensure that our experience was a good one. He greeted us off the train and took us back to the train on our return. We had poor weather at The Great Wall, but not much anyone could do about that.

A Truly Memorable Tour
My experience with the tour was wonderful. Our tour guide, May was exceptionally friendly, informative and accommodating. My Aunt who is on a wheelchair really enjoyed it. Our driver Ms. Xiao was also great, she made sure the trip went smoothly. They were amazing! Will definitely come back again.

Flexibility and amazing Guide
This was a private tour hence the flexibility to modify the itinerary in regards to pace and volume of sights. However, the trip was even better specifically because of our guide Peggy, who was very knowledgeable about the history and culture of China. Even the current ways of living of people in the 2020s. She also went above and beyond and helped take us to make bookings of the top Michelin restaurants and joined us for a crab noodle lunch. And also took us shopping which is not part of the itinerary and stayed overtime till 6:30pm.

Our guide Taaffy” was wonderful and helped us so much. She gave us explanation of everything she took us to see.
I would let other travelers know that this tour is very demanding physically. I’m proud of myself for making it. The wall was incredible to see and the garden was beautiful and worth it.

Best Highlights of Shanghai
This day experience in Shanghai was wonderful and a perfect day with a variety of the best things to see. Our tour guide, Snow, was very knowledgeable, spoke very good English and was able to share lots of history. She made sure we got to see and do the things that were important to us and adjusted times to go when it wasn’t as crowded. The water town was lovely and we had a wonderful meal overlooking the water. Of course the Yu Garden was beautiful and going to the top of the tower was fun to see the city from so high up. She even took us to some good shopping spots and helped us navigate quality items. We even got to open a clam that had beautiful pearls and made a necklace. The driver was great as well and always quick to pick us up. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting a personal and custom experience.

Good by day - spectacular by night
First half was an 1 hour cruise around the river - majority of buildings are covered in led's and whole area becomes both very colourful and atmospheric.
Second part is a road transfer to Yu Garden where the buildings are all bathed in pastel light, this highlighting their ancient design.
So that was the trip, but the whole event was made more than special by our guide 'Autumn'. Not only did she queue for hours during the afternoon before picking us up - this to ensure we had the best 'VIP' boat seating, she also managed to get us into all the Yu Garden areas before all the throngs of tourists arrived.
Finally she added another walk around the magically lite French Concession area. The whole trip was simply superb.

Amazing tour with Annie
This was a GREAT tour with Annie. We got to see some great highlights of the city. Annie was the best guide we had in our 2.5 weeks all across Asia! She was friendly, personable, speaks great English, and was very flexible with our tight schedule. I would HIGHLY recommend doing a tour with her anytime!!

A very well organised day in Suzhou!
Kimi was a brilliant guide. The day was well organised and delivered, and Kimi explained everything in English really well. Lunch was also spectacular, so make sure you are hungry! All the vehicles we went in were very clean and organised well, and we really enjoyed seeing so much of Suzhou in one day. Thank you Kimi!

Known as “The Paris of the East,” Shanghai is China's biggest and most prosperous city. Even the locals can’t do it all. That’s why Shanghai tours are the best way to maximize your time. Instead of looking down at a map, let your expert guide show you around sites such as the Shanghai Museum, the Yuyuan Garden, and the Jade Buddha Temple. Or opt for a food tour through the French Concession, a cruise on the Zhujiajiao canals, or even a day trip to Beijing, where you can walk on the Great Wall of China.
