Stephanie is the best guide!

Do this tour

This was an excellent tour with Alvaro. He did a great job managing a group of 27. Gave us excellent historical information on both the cathedral, Spanish history, and the Alcázar. He was very patient with questions. The only issue that we had, and it certainly was not his fault, was that the group could not access the tower. He was very, very good and had an excellent grasp of the material. This is a rather long tour so you should definitely eat a meal beforehand and bring along some water. Also, this was the only place where we actually had to show our passports and several people in our group had to go back to their hotels to get theirs. It might not be a bad idea since viator is so good with reminders, to remind people that at the Alcázar they really are quite serious about checking passports.

Our guide knew her subject very well, she delivered it in a very informative way trying to get everyone immersed into the history of the cathedral and our it has changed over the years. Due to the size of the group there were some points of the tour were we left standing while they tried to herd the rest of the group back in line. It was a very enjoyable visit and I would recommend it and say it is something you must do if you go to Seville.

Best Multi-Site Excursion Out of Seville

Great guide. Could not ask for any better. Regrettably, I did not get his name. I very much wish I had so I could send a thank you note. The whole tour was outstanding. The tour of the mosque/cathedral was very good, informative, as good as when I was there with an art history professor. The flower-lined narrow streets were fun. We visited a small town on a gorge with the traditional all-whitewashed buildings. They were celebrating a provincial Independence Day so there were a lot of people and good food cheap. Polished off the day in Ronda where, when I got lost, the guide came looking for me, with a no-man- left behind attitude. He refused to abandon me. Made it back to Seville safe and sound.
