For three generations we have dedicated ourselves to the art of ceramics, and we have been sharing our knowledge through classes for more than 15 years. Our workshop and craft are an expression of the essence of Seville, where the artisan tradition is kept alive. We are proud to welcome people from all over the world, and, although they speak Spanish, French, Italian or English, the important thing is to talk about art. Learn to cook several traditional Spanish dishes—and enjoy a hearty, gourmet meal that you’ve prepared yourself—during this hands-on cooking class. In the evening, head to the Mercado de Triana, and grab an apron: with your guide’s instruction, you’ll cook a 3-course meal, including gazpacho or salmorejo, a classic “tapa,” Valencian paella, and a simple and refreshing dessert to follow. Sangria is made and served during cooking time and up to 2 drinks per person (wine, beer, soda, etc.) are offered with the meal.

Experience the elegance and spirit of Flamenco during this show at the Museo del Baile in Seville. The performance features the Cristina Hoyos Ballet, including three dancers, two singers, and a guitarist. Learn about local culture during this one-hour show, set in a charming 18th-century building.

This fun and accessible dance class is offered by a professional dancer and teacher. Dancing flamenco steps to the sound of flamenco music and performing the basic rhythms with hands and feet, will give you a feel for flamenco. All our Flamenco classes are taught by professionals with a degree in Dance and Flamenco Pedagogy. The classes are very fun but also educative, since our main objective is to teach. Flamenco is a musical genre originally developed mainly in Andalusia. In November 2010 it was declared Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. Nowadays, dancing, singing and guitar playing are taught all over the world. The teacher will teach you the basic movements of the hands, the taps and the movement of the body. During the class you will dance a small choreography, to put in practice what you have learned. This course is designed for beginners, but if you already have some knowledge, we will get adapted to all levels.

When visiting the birthplace of Flamenco, try your hand (and feet) at this traditional, soulful art with a 1-hour dance class. Go beyond just watching the dance as you learn the fundamental steps and basics of hand movements, heel clicking, and body poses from a professional instructor in a fun group setting. Cook traditional paella with a Seville local who is passionate about the city, sangria, and, of course, paella. Taking place at his personal home, the small-group experience offers more than just a cooking class as you'll get a taste of some local culture, too. Together, you'll create and eat a paella dish on his spacious balcony terrace where nighttime views of Seville Cathedral provide the backdrop.

This is a small group experience that will teach you a skill you can take with you back to your home country and use everyday. Rhythm is key to all forms of music, and although we will work within flamenco rhythm, this can be applied to any style of music you hear. You'll be up-close and personal with a flamenco guitarist and dancer. One of the most important roles in a Flamenco performance is that of a Palmero (the hand clapper). YES, you heard correctly! You won't ever see a flamenco show without one or two people in the back clapping their hands. What they are doing is called making Compás, or in other words, controlling the rhythm of the dance so that the singer, guitar player, and dancer are all on the same page. This important role sounds easy, but there is an art to clapping your hands in Flamenco, and that's exactly what you will learn in this workshop.
