Most of the tour takes place in the museum area, with displays of paintings and artifacts. Our tour leader was a bullfighting enthusiast.

Despite checking the meeting location with google maps, local staff and the Viator team the guide didn't turn up and couldn't be contacted by ourselves or Viator. Beware, our first bad experience using Viator, although the Viator team were responsive and helpful as far as they could

If you have reservations regarding the whole bullfighting tradition it’s well worth taking the guided tour. The history is very interesting to hear and gives insight into what may for some be considered a controversial sport

Group of about 20 with 1 tour guide. She had microphone, we had radio with earbuds. Tour was very informative and interesting. We learned about the culture of bullfighting, the reasons and methodology behind each aspect of the bullfight, and how it is the matador's job to bring out the best attributes of the bull he is fighting. The tour ends in the arena which is quite picturesque.

Incredible history of bull fighting
It was extremely hot so found 1 of the rooms suffocating as no air conditioning
The arena is still in use

A great way to find out more about bullfighting and the history behind it. The guide was very knowledgeable and conveyed the passion behind the "sport". We did this tour to try and better understand the purpose of bullfighting and the controversy it attracts. I would recommend this tour to anyone wanting an insight into this controversial form of "entertainment".

The date I choose, there was a big concert being set up but I was offered a different time and day and the guide couldn’t have been more helpful! Forget what preconceived ideas you have about bullfighting and listen to the history of its origins and how the welfare of both animal and man are forefront . Stunning arena wish I could have seen the full affect without stage and seating but wasn’t disappointed. Book in advance highly recommend

I loved the museum and the artwork, the history is fascinating and all the quirky little extras like the fact that bulls like eggplants. I liked my guide, she was very professional but she never seemed to be bored by her subject.

We had a small group tour and our guide was an expert on all aspects of bullfighting, the bulls, the history and setup of the stadium. I forgotten the name of our guide (embarrassing) but I think her name was Pitta or similar. Try to get her as your guide.
