Amazing immersive experience at the start of our trip

Jacob was a wonderful guide! We booked this tour on the first day we arrived so that we could get a full understanding of the cuisine in South Korea. And it was a great idea! Jacob took us around the market and introduced us to so many different dishes. You definitely need to go on an empty stomach as you don’t just get tasters, you’re asked if you want second helpings. Prepare to be immersed into the South Korean culture - we even learnt some fun drinking games that we’ll take back home with us. Thank you Jacob!!!

Fascinating History

We enjoyed it very much. The only thing I would caution about is that, even though it says 'small group', once you get to the DMZ you share a large bus with other groups. So, while our group was listening to our guide via ear pieces, the group behind us was talking loudly or listening to their guide talk loudly without any amplification. It was very distracting.

I really enjoyed this DMZ tour from Seoul. Our tour guide, Judy, was punctual and arrived right on time. She was very friendly, sweet, and spoke English very well. She shared a lot of interesting history about both South and North Korea, and gave us informative explanations at each place we visited. The tour was well organized, and we were lucky to have a good day with excellent visibility, which made the experience even better. There were many interesting places to see, and I especially enjoyed learning about the history and significance of the DMZ. The soybean ice cream was also delicious and suited my taste! We also had the opportunity to buy Korean cosmetics, such as moisturizer and toner, at very good prices. Overall, it was an interesting, informative, and enjoyable day. I highly recommend this tour, and especially Judy as a wonderful guide. Thank you, Judy, for making the day so enjoyable!

It is extremely emotional and educational.. It is a great workout physically and you need to be able to do a lot of stairs. It is fairly challenging and long inclines. Wear good walking or hiking shoes.. overall it is a great experience and a great tour.

This was an amazing opportunity to view the DMZ, as well as North Korea (from a distance). The tour was well organized, with all details taken care of by the provider. We had an outstanding guide (Joseph) who made sure we knew everything we needed to about each stage of the journey. He picked us early, which helped beat the crowds, then ushered us expertly through each stage of the tour, making sure we were comfortable throughout. Korea Day Tour

We had a wonderful experience on this day tour! Everything was well organized from start to finish (even though there was a traffic jam but there wasn’t the tour guide’s fault cuz we were coincidentally hitting the Korean holiday), but the itinerary still allowed us to enjoyed the area without feeling rushed. Our tour guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful throughout the day. He explained everything clearly, kept the group on schedule, and made sure everyone was comfortable and taken care of. The transportation was comfortable, the stops were well planned, and we had enough time to take photos, explore, and enjoy each location. It made sightseeing so much easier and more enjoyable, especially when visiting several places in one day. Overall, we had a fantastic time and felt the tour was well worth it. Covered most of the importance sights of Seoul in one day. There was a lot of walking, but most of it was flat. One annoying stop at a ginseng “museum”, which was a little more than an effort to sell ginseng. But the guide was good and the group was small only 11 people. Whole lot was packed in.

Absolutely Worth It!!! Foreigner friendly

When I tell you this experience was a 10 out of 10…I mean it! Foreigner friendly I promise. Our tour guide Jake was the absolute best. So friendly and kind hearted. From the beginning to the end he was informative and communicated greatly. Took his time to ensure we had great photos and would offer to take them for us. Also answered any questions we had about the history of the city or general questions. There wasn’t one question Jake wasn’t able to answer. Unfortunately, during one of the walks I slightly rolled my ankle. Jake was so quick to assist me with finding the nearest convenience store. He helped to translate with the staff about my slight injury and they advised what I needed. Within 5 mins of me hurting my ankle I was all patched up. Jake bandaged my ankle with a cold patch and wrap and we were able to continue the tour. I had to move a lot slower to refrain from making my slight injury into a serious one. Jake would walk with me slowly and found me places to sit while he continued to explain to me the history of the sites we were visiting. I never felt rushed and I still got to experience the tour. I highly recommend this private tour to foreigners if your a bit nervous about exploring the city on your own. Jake was fluent in English and Korean which made it so much easier. Thanks again Jake for making this tour a memory that I will keep for a lifetime! ☺️
