When you arrive you pick your wood, there are a couple included in the price or you can upgrade to a more expensive tree. When you are finished, you can also get a word(s) engraved for an additional fee, well worth it!

This was a wonderful experience. The fee includes the basic wood for chopsticks. Upgraded wood available for minimal fee. The engraving was extra, but not a lot. I could’ve stayed for several classes to make more gifts to take home. Easy directions to follow. The owner is the teacher and is easy to converse with.
