Making the best of a Long Drive from ICN

Nobody likes the drive between Incheon and your Seoul hotel, particularly after a long flight, but it's often unavoidable. Tourmaker made the process that much easier, with great communication from the driver (in English), on-time pickup, a clean, comfortable van, and a pleasant ride from the airport. Highly recommend.

An eye opening journey through history

What an experience! Thank you Juan you made this a thoughtful and informative tour of the DMZ. Juan was friendly and communicated clearly about the trip timeline and where we needed to be and when, and was also hospitable coming prepared with sweets and water for us. The stops along the tour are very eye opening and give you an opportunity to learn and understand at a good pace. Be warned, this is a physically demanding trip where you need to be ready for long, steep, unforgiving inclined walks at some of the stops. That gradient of the third infiltration tunnel is absolutely no joke, and if you’re tall be ready to walk ducking down for a while! I would absolutely, without a doubt, recommend both this tour and Juan. Thanks again!

Very interesting

The tour was great. Our guide Joseph was wonderful. He provided a lot of information on the bus ride and while we were at the DMZ. He also took pictures for everyone which was very nice.The tunnel was cool and the observatory views were really nice. I was very interested to have the presentation by the defector, but it was commercialized in a way that made it feel a bit odd, in my opinion. We were originally scheduled to leave at 9:00 but a day or so before, it was rescheduled to 7:00 am due to changes at the DMZ, so just be prepared for last minute changes. We also got back a bit late (not the tour’s fault) bc a few people forgot their passports and it caused a delay…so don’t forget yours. All in all. It lasted from 7:00-3:00pm, so it ate up most of the day, so keep that in mind. It was interesting but if you have a short stay in Seoul, I might skip it as it’s a most of a day commitment. Some of the content was a bit heavy for my 9 year old, but that was expected.

Great history lesson.

Won -our driver- was fantastic!! He communicated well, was prompt, and very knowledgeable. We did a private tour and he stayed with us the entire time. He explained what we needed to know beforehand. That being said the tour itself was very interesting. I am sorry they no longer take you to JSA but going i to the tunnel was very cool. It is quite steep- so coming up was a challenge- my hubby has bad knees so he stayed behind. Would highly recommend this tour - especially if you can request Won.

Evan went above and beyond! This was a great tour, but the guide, EVAN, made it even better. He was so friendly and helpful. He guided us through temples, museums, shopping streets, and the day was fantastic. After the tour was over, he even showed me some great shopping locations. I wanted a skin analysis and skincare products- he personally took me to a shop that would do the personalized analysis. There was a dish that I wanted to try, he recommended an amazing restaurant and even made the reservation for me. 10/10
