Fantastic day on the highlands
The trip was great from start to finish. Being in a small group made everything easier—staying on time and getting good photos without any hassle. Our guide was funny and engaging and I learned so much about Scotland 😊 bonus points for the good playlist!

An Incredible Day
I would recommend this tour to anyone. It packs in so much and gives a perfect introduction to Skye. At the same time, it's relaxing, with many stops but also plenty of time in the comfortable bus to take in the scenery. Ryan, our tour guide, is a gifted storyteller and very considerate. He started the day establishing a friendly and fun group dynamic, and then went out of his way to make sure everyone was comfortable and happy throughout the whole tour. Our group was a curious bunch and Ryan cheerfully and knowledgeably answered all our questions. I would take another Rabbie's tour in a heatbeat, especially if Ryan is the guide.

Stunning scenery
Absolutely fantastic time / tour! Our guide / driver Hannah was simply amazing — certainly very knowledgeable historically & otherwise about all the sights we took in, but also incredibly funny. The desolate beauty of the Western Highlands, even in the snow and windy rain, is something I will never forget. Thank you to Hannah and Rabbie’s for making it so memorable!

Amazing!
This was the third time we travelled with Rabbie’s. I really like the style they propose and advocate. Their excursions are more interactive and not crowded (max 16 pax). This time our guide was David. A nice fellow, very knowledgeable and kind. We have got to visit several castles and the West Highlands.

Great trip!
Our second time with Rabbie’s and first time in Scotland. Russell was a tremendous guide, very funny and knowledgeable. We visited Stirling Castle first, as to avoid the later crowds. Then we got time to see some Highland Coos, head to Loch Lomond and then the Kelpies. Russell was also kind enough to show us the bridges on the River Forth!

Best little tour in Edinborough. Hit the mark.
This is the tour to do. It leaves at 830 am and gets back at 630. It’s about 3 hours less than most tours, but that’s a good thing. Stevie the driver is amazing and true Scotish. Incredibly nice. The bus seats 15-20, so it’s the right size for all the curvy roads. Other tours are 50-60 on very large buses and we had some close calls. Stevie gives you ample time at the big spots and time for lunch. It wasn’t rushed, which we experienced on another tour. This was just right and we enjoyed our day more compared to another tour we took with Hairy Coo. Also, the other tours use Harry Potter to lure you in, but they don’t tell you the train is closed most of the year. Little Harry Potter in Edinborough. Don’t be tricked. This tour gives you a chance to see the Lochs and explore a castle. Perfect.

Brilliant driver and tour guide
What an amazing tour, Murray our guide was just brilliant, thank you so much.
He was a very good driver and was very caring making sure that we were kept informed. We had regular stops at cafes etc that were very accommodating.
Murray was very knowledgeable and informative , whilst also being fun
We would recommend this day trip to everyone if you have a spare day. You get to do and see so much. The added trip to Urquart castle and the boat trip on Loch Ness was worth every penny
Thank you for a wonderful day Murray , we made so many memories

An excellent tour and a terrific tour guide, but don’t forget your Dramamine
Tom gave an exquisite to her. He really knew his stuff. It was very personal to him and he got us around an excellent speed. Traveler should know that this is a great trip to take your motion, sickness tablets because the roads can get very winding in Scotland and a few folks on our trip did not feel the best.

I had a lovely time. Jeff...
I had a lovely time. Jeff C from Glasgow was phenomenal (not to be confused with Jeff from Edinburgh, I don’t know that guy). He knew so much history which was much appreciated and he was also really funny. I really wanted to see Highland Cows and he made sure that I got to. We covered so much of the Scottish countryside I would’ve never got to see otherwise. Would 100% recommend for anyone!

An excellent day out exploring the Western Highlands
This is a long day, with a lot of ground covered. However, it is well paced and the Jacobite steam train ride in the middle of the day is a definite highlight and a comfortable ride. Ian was a great guide who was very knowledgable about the area and had many stories and local lore to add. He gave us plenty of time to explore various areas we visited, and adapted when one location was full and we couldn't park as planned. I highly recommend a fresh fish lunch in Mailag.

Beautiful and Brilliant
Best tour we have taken so far. Meet up was easy and simple. Bus was nice. Tour guide, Turquil was absolutely marvelous; amusing, highly entertaining, highly knowledgeable and you could tell he had a real pride and love for his country and lands. Cruise was nice. The castle was incredible. We have been to many, this was the best so far, and the time of day was perfect for pictures. The village we lunched at was very quaint and the priory there was very nice. The distillery was good, quality whiskey. The Cairn stones were majestic. Now, the Culloden Battle Fields, this is a humbling experience. Highly suggest spending the money to go through the museum first and then walking the fields. If you have any sense of imagination and love of history, you will feel the events. Highly, highly recommend this tour.

Would absolutely...
Would absolutely recommend this tour and the tour operators. Our driver/ guide was very helpful and kept me interested and entertained with the information that they gave us regarding each of our stops on the itinerary. Additionally, as we were the only people on our particular tour, we had a bit more flexibility in the places we stopped and managed to also fit in a few additional highlights and discover a new spot or two they had not previously seen. I had a very enjoyable day.
