What are people saying about Scotland

We went on a highland...
We went on a highland tour from Edinburgh for a day and I can honestly say that for all of my family it was one of our best tour experiences which we will treasure for years to come. Gregor is a talented, knowledgeable ( history, people, wildlife, literature, birds and many more areas of study) passionate, affable tour guide with a wicked sense of humour, and an ability to give clear instructions with a generous laughter which filled our day with joy! He is an asset to Scotland tourism industry who speaks about Scotland in a very endearing way and yet is unafraid to retell some of its history. Emma drove us in comfort and safety and teamed up really well with Gregor! We would recommend the tours just for Gregor and Emma. The bus was comfortable and the tour was well organised with regular breaks. Well done to the team!

We had a wonderful tour...
We had a wonderful tour with Ben from Inverness to the Isle of Skye and Eilean Donan Castle. He drove us safely throughout the journey and made us feel very comfortable. Ben was very patient with us and gave us enough time to enjoy each place without rushing.
He also shared many interesting stories along the way, which made the trip even more enjoyable and memorable. His friendly nature, knowledge, and calm driving made the whole experience excellent.
Thank you, Ben, for making our tour so special. I would highly recommend him to anyone booking this trip.

A great way to see the country
Wonderful for Outlander fans and non fans alike. The tour guide was exceptional. Kept us entertained and provided a great history of the country as we drove to each location. Ample time to wander around at each location. We even got a glimpse into Scottish music as we drove.

Amazing trip with breathtaking views!
Amazing trip - We had a fantastic one-day trip. The tour was well organized, comfortable and enjoyable throughout. A special thanks to our driver/ guide who was knowledgeable, friendly, and shared fascinating history along the way.
Despite visiting many places in one day, the trip never felt rushed and the scenery and overstay castle was breathtaking.
No second thoughts! Just go for it if you want to explore Scotland in a day!

An Excellent Outlander Tour!
This Outlander Tour was exactly the right pace, giving us time to stand and feel the spots we saw in the series. Our guide, Sean Gordon was highly knowledgeable, personable, and funny. His depth of historical perspective was very valuable in understanding the locations. We really enjoyed his storytelling and wide selection of Scottish music. Highly recommended!

Whole day adventure
David was great, entertaining and informative. Through in a couple of extra experiences as time and weather allowed. Great taste in music played in between narratives. Plenty of time at all the listed destinations. Not my first time to Edinburgh but first time out of the city. Perfect way to get out and explore.

Do it!
It's a long day, but worth it. There was some confusion checking in ticket holders and putting them on the correct bus. The vans are comfortable and easy to get in and out. There were plenty of stops for photos. The narration, stories, and music were informative and entertaining. We enjoyed the day. The Scottish countryside is beautiful. Fish & Chips in Portree was the best we had on this trip.

Excellent day tour that hits all the highlights! Recommend Recommend
We had a lovely day with our fabulous tour guide Karen. She was fun and shared useful and interesting information. There were so many interesting stops and activities. Enjoyed the Loch Ness boat ride over to Urquhart Castle. The castle grounds were very neat to see and the film in the visitor center was informative. Next we went to Singleton distillery for a wee dram of whisky. Stopped in Beauly for delicious lunch and visit to the Pirory. Culloden Battle field with a separate paid tour was fascinating and sad. Ending the day was a stop to see the Clava Cairins, 4000 year old Bronze age stone circles and burial cairins. Well done day tour. Recommend to others.

5/5 - Highly Recommended
Karen, our tour guide, was phenomenal! The tour takes you along breathtaking scenery - along castles and lochs and everything in between. Karen did an excellent job of pointing out the scenery while also driving expertly, so that we didn’t have to worry about it. Bring a camera! There is so much to take in

Incredible experience!
Absolutely superb experience! With the stops, you didn't need to go far for some terrific views, there was so much to see en route, each stop gave something different and the Glenfinnan Viaduct and surrounding area did not disappoint. The coach driver, Bryan, was every bit a part of the experience: with his tales, history, useful information and personal soundtrack to enhance the ambiance, he was simply wonderful! Would definitely recommend.

Can’t stop talking about it
Louise was amazing! (She should literally start a podcast with all the information she had!) This tour hit so many stops we didn’t even know we were going to stop at. The stories and history were amazing! Definitely bring a second pair of clothes (the weather varies).

A fantastic full day with incredible views., and Coos!!!
This was a wonderful day. It is a 12 hour bus day, so be prepared for that. Glen was our bus driver and tour guide. He was an incredible storyteller. Among the entire journey, he kept us entertained with true stories., facts, music, and history all about Scotland. We made numerous stops with incredible views to photograph. Glen made sure that we stopped in a little cafe that allowed us the opportunity to feed and pet coos.
I think, if we had the opportunity to do this in the summer months, when the days are longer, we might have even seen more.If possible. The cruise on the Loch was just as wonderful. Great storytelling, and just long enough to enjoy on a rainy day.
