The Beautiful Wines of Santorini

From start to finish this was a perfect tour. The guide was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and fun. The three wineries we each unique and with enjoyable wine. At each stop we were presented with excellent tapas and a wide variety of wine, mostly nice whites. Water was also plentiful. This tour was very well prepared and presented and I’d do it again tonight.

Wonderful experience!

We loved this experience! All wineries were excellent. And our tour guide, Nick, was great! He really was an awesome guide with tons of knowledge who made the tour very fun. The dinner and pairings were also incredible. Everything about it was great and I highly recommend booking this tour. It will definitely be a highlight of your trip to Greece!

Fantastic, Fun Experience

We didn’t know too much about Greek wine before this tour. Mary was an amazing host - very funny and extremely knowledgable. We met some great folk from all over the world. No need to eat beforehand- lots of snacks to accompany the wine. We visited three wineries and had plenty to drink - we tasted over 12 (thankfully not full!) glasses.

Highly Recommend!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience! Milos was an excellent driver and a fantastic guide to the farm. Anna was truly unmatched in sharing her knowledge about the farm and the history behind Mr. Petros’ vision and Mike’s dedication to the farm. Anna was also a wonderful cooking teacher and took the time to explain the origins of all the ingredients we used. The tomato fritters were absolutely delicious, and the dessert featuring the farm’s own sun-dried tomato sauce was such an unexpected and delightful treat! We highly recommend this tour and excursion to the beautiful town of Megalochori. The residents of the village were incredibly warm and welcoming, which made the experience even more special. Thank you, Mr Petros, Milos, Anna, and Mike for such a memorable and enjoyable day!

Perfect for a short stay in Santorini

This tour was a great way to see Santorini’s highlights. Hotel pickup and drop-off were also very convenient. Theo was incredibly knowledgeable, warm, funny and flexible. He was also kind enough to take photos for me, which I really appreciated as a solo traveller! Of course, the other couples in the group were also happy to take turns having their photos taken. Manos was an excellent driver, especially on the narrow cliffside roads. Our tour included Oia, Megalochori instead of Pyrgos, the highest point of the island at the monastery and a wine tasting. Visiting Oia during the tour was especially helpful since I wanted to return later for sunset. The wine tasting was also a lovely addition and a nice way to experience some of Santorini’s local wines. Argyros Travel was very responsive and accommodating, even when I changed my mind a few times about including the wine tasting. Highly recommend this tour if you’re short on time and want a great introduction to Santorini!

Apart from the pick up instructions

A great trip that is excellent value. Almost missed this due to useless pickup instructions. Advertised as a 10.30 sailing with pick up at 09.45, we booked breakfast with our hotel for 08.30. We then receive an email stating that pick up is 08.45, then another email telling us we are going horse riding. The last email told us to ignore the horse riding Mail. So in the app I still have a 09.45 and a dummy booking states 10.30 sailing. I emailed and was told it was indeed 08.45.....missed breakfast, just made the bus. As I said, the trip was good, I would probably just book it with the lady on the beach next time.

Worth every penny

Huge credit to Sunset Oia for the organisation of the Catamaran tour. Our experience was absolutely worth every penny, as we had endless access to drinks at no extra cost, the BBQ lunch was delicious and the crew were very hospitable. The swimming spots were perfect for a mix of passengers of all ages and backgrounds.

Great experience! Our guide Fanny picked up us out our hotel and took us to 3 amazing wineries and to Oia for sunset. She was so knowledgeable about wine and history of Santorini and so welcoming and kind! She was a great host and made this tour even better for us! All the wine was delicious!

Don’t miss this excursion.

We had the most amazing time on our catamaran cruise. Our captain was Elvin and the crew members were Rafaela, Vasilis and Nikos. They took such amazing care of us. The boat was absolutely spotless. The food they served was phenomenal. The locations we went to had the most amazing water. The temperature was perfect and the water was so clear for snorkeling. We wished we could have stayed out with them longer. They made the day so relaxing and fun for us. Our family had a great time and we were so very comfortable. It was True great hospitality all the way around. We will recommend them to everyone and will be back booking with them again soon.

Excellent

It was an excellent day and I’d definitely recommend it. The crew were very friendly and accommodating. The weather conditions meant we couldn’t go on the planned route but instead we had a stop at Thirasia. The drinks were free flowing and we had a lovely barbecued meal. As the sunset was later, our sail was almost 7 hours. It was around 10pm when we arrived back at our hotel.
