Great tour experience in Santorini

Elisa was a great guide and provided information on the culture, history and geography of the island. Provided great insight on the way of life on the island. Vasili was a great driver.

The views are spectacular but the crowds were overwhelming! The first part of the tour was boring. Oia was overcrowded and unbearable.

Will meet most people's expectations

Santorini is very hectic; the extreme shortfall of cable car capacity vs the volume of cruise ship passengers results in a frustrating experience at the island. That said, this excursion provides a variety of experiences across the island, from the highest point, to the beauty of Oia, to a fun wine tasting. Megalachori was underwhelming; perhaps the weather, and we did not stop in Pyrgos. Could have used more time in Oia (beautiful), but there's not much to do but eat, shop, and take selfies anyway. Will likely not return to Santorini if I can avoid it, but for an all-in-one-day non-ship intro to Santorini, this fits the bill. Not a bad trip mind you, but we had much better ports on our ten day cruise . There were 16 people in our tour on a mid size bus, but many of them were not very mobile. We waited a lot. We are mid-40's and reasonably fit. Usually non-ship options filter out the mobility challenged, but we did not experience that on this trip. Excellent driver, friendly energetic guide.

The island has become very popular these last few years and is on many bucket lists, but we always do our best to avoid crowds.
