Paint the Golden Gate Bridge at Crissy Field in an outdoor watercolor experience shaped by the bay, the light, and the moment. No experience needed. All professional-grade materials are included, the same paints I use. You’ll receive a hand-drawn landscape line drawing so you can start painting right away. We begin by looking at the landscape together, what stands out, where the light is, how distance softens things, then move into simple watercolor techniques and painting your own version of the scene. Sessions are small and personal, with plenty of individual guidance along the way. The goal isn’t to get everything perfect, but to learn how to see and capture a moment. Cycling enthusiasts ride from San Francisco via scenic roads and trails to Muir Woods National Monument without an advance park reservation. Depending on the route we choose, the tour will last between 4 to 6 hours. You'll be able to explore Muir Woods and optionally lunch at the quaint Pelican Inn in Muir Beach or other stops. Our tour will start from Crissy Field, cross the Golden Gate Bridge and then climb to Muir Woods National Monument via gravel trails (optional) and roads. At Muir Woods you will have an hour to immerse yourself in the tranquility of towering ancient redwoods. This is a rigorous ride with a minimum of 30 miles of riding and 2,500 feet of climbing. If you need a bike, we recommend renting from Sports Basement’s Presidio store, where we start.
