Must do experience in Roatan!
Anderson Tours took very good care of our group and we had an excellent experience. Out tour guide William was top notch and he was very accommodating to our needs and taught us a lot about the island, it's history, and their culture.
Highly recommend!

Perfect day with a private local guide
First things first, I took this tour from Coxen Hole, not Mahogany Bay. As soon as you step out of the cruise port there is a crowd of potential guides offering their services. I was still quickly able to find someone holding a "Roatan Getaway Tours" sign and within a minute led, by Monique, our guide for the day to her car where she quickly got us away from the crowd and took us to the zip line.
She checked us in and within just a few more minutes we were outfitted with harnesses and driven up the hill to begin the course down. We had a blast and could even see the cruise ship from the top of the course.
As soon as we got done, Monique was right there again to take just the two of us across the island to have an experience with the sloths and monkeys. It was great as well. Real up-close and personal with the animals.
Once we finished with that, Monique gave us a short drive to the dock where we went on a snorkel boat with just 3 other people. I've been on so many snorkel tours that felt like we were just one in the herd. We had an amazing time viewing the diverse coral and fish and clear water. We both thought it was probably the best snorkel trip we'd ever done.
After that we were offered to be taken back to the dock or dropped for an hour at a beach on a small island on the reef. We wish our cruise line had given more time in port for us to enjoy it and it was 100% our choice to skip the beach and head back to port so we weren't rushed getting back aboard the cruise.
Throughout the day, we were given perfect service that made being in a new foreign place a delight and was super simple. Monique just took care of all the details for us.
I would book with this provider any other time I am back in Roatan
10/10. 5 stars. Couldn't do better!!!

Great day in Roatan
This was a wonderful personalized excursion. From our driver Louis who transported us to and from the excursion and also gave a history of the city, as well as taking us to a great market to shop and local restaurant to have lunch. Our boat captain Bruno and his crew were extremely helpful and engaged with us while snorkeling. They brought snacks like watermelon and homemade local bread to share as well. The snorkeling sights were great and our group greatly enjoyed the entire experience.

Great Experience, supporting local business, and save money over the excursion offered by cruise line
This was a super experience. We booked it as we would be on a cruise. It was far cheaper than the Cruise offered with the same scope. We were originally going to be just the two of us on the boat, but gladly had another couple join after their excursion boat captain had a family issue.
We met our driver outside the port, lots of other folks there but all helped us find her. She was very friendly, and drove us to the beach where we were leaving from. After the snorkeling we visited a chocolate museum/factory (delish!!!!)
Our dive master guided our snorkeling in three locations, all of which were different and all wonderful.
I would book again...

Great Roatan experience for the whole family.
Excellent family friendly adventure. We had easy pick up at the cruise port and a private shuttle to the ATV’s. The ride through the village was beautiful, the animal encounter was quick but very entertaining and informative. Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were a family of 6 with two children ages 5 and 9. Would highly recommend this tour.

Roatan is great!
We did this combo excursion, and we had a great time. The ziplining we had done before and we loved it, so we had to do it again. The snorkeling was great, even though a bit short (30 min). The water is so clear and beautiful, we saw a plethora of fish. I personally was not a fan of the boat, but we made it back safely. I did request photo of the boat upon booking and had send two separate inquires but no one from Anderson Tours responded to my questions. That was disappointing and it almost made me cancel altogether. For those of you who would take this tour know that when you get to the beach for the snorkel you will be offered to buy a $15 pass to stay on the beach. Our boat was not there, and we had to wait 30 min. We had to wait by the sales booth if we didn't purchase the bracelet for the beach. This is something that should have been communicated in advance. For the sloth/monkey experience visitors are no longer allowed to hold them, you can touch if there are not too many people but absolutely no holding. Overall, we had a great time, takes you half the day on port to do this and still have free time to explore if you wish.

The zipline view was great
This is very exciting and fun activities. And view of Port and cruise ships from zipline area is spectacular. You walk out of port to see the sign holding staff, walk a few block then you get fitted for 15 zipline from top of the hill overseeing the port. Very safe and fun, kids were doing flips. Then small petting zoo for some photo. Then getting on a van to drive to West side for either beach or snorkel for an hour.

Outstanding excursion...
Outstanding excursion from start to finish. The communication the day before and the day of the excursion was excellent. We started with the trip to the animal sanctuary. It was incredible!!! We were able to hold a monkey and a sloth. Our guide Roman was the best. Very knowledgeable and entertaining. The we stopped at the chocolate factory. We were able to purchase chocolate that was made right at the factory and it was delicious. Then we headed to the ATV/Dune Buggy. This was the highlight of the excursion. We rode around a large course thru the trees, up and down terrain, and thru the mud for about 1/2 hour. It was awesome! Definitely bring a change of clothes. Finally we head to a private beach resort. They had showers and changing areas, two large pools including a kids pool. The beach was perfect. The even had a beach bar which served lunch. (They also had a sit down pool restaurant that we did not use but I'm guessing the food was good as this is where the beach bar got their food.) LoGan was our guide for the entire day. Incredibly knowledgeable and the perfect guide for the day. I would highly recommend this experience. For what it's worth it was myself, my wife and my three kids (12, 14, and 20). Everyone had a great time.

Fun experience
I decided to book this excursion for my cruise and it was the most fun. It was my first time zip lining and riding an ATV and it was straight forward and fun. Jerome and the others did a fantastic job with taking us along the excursion. I would highly recommend.

The best day
So much fun! First we were met at the terminal by our guide for the day, Sonny. He was amazing!!! He walked us to the ziplining park. The ziplining guides were AMAZING and so fun. Next we went to the animal park. It was also so cool!!!!! We continued our day with Sonny who kept us entertained and safe and helped us find a beautiful beach to spend our afternoon.

Zip Line and Beach Experience
After we walked out the port to meet them outside of Gate 1, they had red shirts on that said Anderson tours. One of them walked us to the zip line area which was not that far. We felt safe the entire time zip lining. The workers were all trained and made sure to care for everyone in our group. Afterwards, we had a tour of the animals in the same place. We saw monkeys, guinea pigs, a sloth, a macaw, and a few other animals. Then they set us up with a driver and vehicle that took our group to see the chocolate factory, we stopped at a shop and then he took us to the beach. We had a fun experience even though we zipped lined in the rain. We could’ve just walked off the ship to the zip line for $50, but the $15 extra to go to the beach was worth it. It was a nice calm beach to go to.

On the Caribbean island of Roatan, ziplining is code for catching the island’s best views. It’s an activity for everyone—no special skills are required to zoom (fast or slow) across the lush jungle, walk along suspension bridges in the treetops, and catch bird’s-eye vistas to the sea. Fit for those both new to the sport and ziplining pros, it’s a fabulous way to experience the island’s wild, backcountry nature. Moreover, tours are often combined with snorkeling, ATVing, or chilling with monkeys and sloths, making your Roatan ziplining experience just one part of a multi-faceted island adventure.
