I decided to book this excursion for my cruise and it was the most fun. It was my first time zip lining and riding an ATV and it was straight forward and fun. Jerome and the others did a fantastic job with taking us along the excursion. I would highly recommend.

Jay and Harold on the zipline were absolutely fantastic!! Funny as hell and the best guides for the zipline. Kiven was great on the horseback ride! And we didn’t catch our guides name for the ATVs but he was also such a good time. We ripped around in the puddles and on the beach. I thought we were going to have to take it easy which I was hoping we didn’t 😂 but we got to rip fast, do donuts, and laugh while mud was caked on our bodies from the night before rain!! Thank you so much and highly recommend the ultimate trio package. Was well worth it and our favorite excursion on our western Caribbean cruise so far! ROATAN! ♥️🫶🏻

This combo experience was put together well and very organized and Super fun.
Bruce with the ziplining and Terrell with the Horseback riding and the 2 young men (sorry I didn't get their names) were all very personable and the experience so much fun!!

This excursion offered exactly what I needed: time, space, and a sense of safety to truly soak in the stunning Honduran landscapes. From rugged ATV trails that kicked up just the right amount of adrenaline to slow, scenic horseback riding that felt like stepping into a postcard, the experience was beautifully paced and thoughtfully curated.
One unexpected highlight? The guides were kind enough to use my camera to snap photos during the ride—something I appreciated in the moment. I wasn't later hassled toward purchasing pricey professional shots, which feels a bit exploitative considering you already have your own camera .
All in all, I cant think pf anything bad to say!
The ride to the excursion site was smooth and comfortable, and the driver went above and beyond—making stops at a pharmacy and even pulling over for fresh pupusas, which were a delicious bonus. That kind of flexibility and local touch made the whole experience feel more personal and connected.
Overall, it was a memorable adventure with breathtaking views without any quirks. If you’re looking for a mix of thrill, tranquility, and a taste of local flavor, this one delivers!

Worst experience ever on 7/8/25 I didn’t get to do a horseride because I was thrown off and the horse fell of me afterward, and I left with an injured knee, bruises and scratches all over. Staff said nothing they can do even after being on the horse and requesting a new one multiple times. I will never come back and hope anyone that comes to you all don’t have a traumatic experience like I did

We can only imagine how frightening and upsetting it must have been to have a fall like that, and we genuinely care about how you're feeling after what happened. Your safety and well-being mean everything to us, and we want to address what occurred during your time with us.
During our standard safety briefing, all riders receive detailed instructions about proper rein handling, including the critical importance of not pulling back on the reins. When your horse began moving backward due to tension on the reins, our guide immediately provided verbal guidance to release them. Unfortunately, despite multiple reminders, the continued pressure caused your to trip and fall backward. Our horses are all gentle and well-trained, following the rider's rein signals as they're taught to do.
Regarding your request for a different horse, we'd like to clarify that the specific request was to use the guide's horse, which isn't equipped for guest riding and must remain with our guide for safety protocols. After the guide informed you that you couldn't use the guide's horse, you understood and agreed. We weren't declining to provide you with an alternative mount.
Our guide responded immediately to assist you after the fall and escorted you to our first aid station, where our trained staff examined and treated your injuries. We're glad the injuries were minor scrapes, though we understand any injury can be upsetting. When we offered additional care for your knee, we respected your decision to decline further assistance.
As a gesture of goodwill, we'd like to offer you a complimentary Zip-line or ATV tour to give you a chance to create better memories with us. Please contact as at your convenience to arrange your tour.

Justin and Josh were the best for zip lining. They let me take my time to get comfortable. Duren was nice with ATV. he let you know when to slow down and went a great pace. The horseback riding great was amazing. The horses were so well behaved and the ride was so relaxing. I would definitely go again.

Bruce and Danny were AMAZING as zip line guides. Wish they stayed with us for next activities! ATV ride was fun but short in my daughter’s opinion. The horses were a nice addition but wish we got instruction prior to taking off and the wait for other people not in our group was long.

We took my son and daughter ages 12 and 9 and we were not disappointed! The ATVs were so much fun even if we got covered in mud and be zip lines were awesome! The kids were able to participate in everything and loved the full experience. The pickup was hectic since we had a communication issue, but we worked it out and had no problem after that. The transfer van was nice with powerful AC! Overall, this was a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend it!

Our guides Justin and Ramon for our zip line tour was great. Horseback riding was a little boring and guide not very engaging. Loved our Atv experience and guide Steve. Would definitely do zip lining and ATV again but would skip horseback riding.

Very disorganized, we stood in the rain and couldn’t find the guide. A lot of waiting around, we purchased the ultimate for all three activities and was only able to complete ziplining then had to go back to port. They did however refund my money with no issue.

For all our excursions, our professional guides arrive at least 30 minutes before scheduled cruise ship arrivals and remain highly visible in our branded attire at designated meeting points. We understand that port areas can be crowded and sometimes confusing, especially during inclement weather. To improve visibility during rainy conditions, we've since enhanced our meeting point with additional signage and shelter options.
For future guests, our pre-excursion email contains detailed meeting instructions with photos of our meeting points and guide uniforms to make connections as smooth as possible.

I can't begin to explain! I have to write for my refund. I paid for 3 activities and was only able to to 2, in which we were rushed due to late pick up. I'm so upset!

Originally booked our horseback riding excursion with Royal but due to weight limit restriction we had to cancel the day before the excursion so I booked with Viator for the first time. Given the positive reviews we chose Xplore Roatan. We got to do 2 additional excursions for the same price of my original booking with Royal. We had quick and easy communication with Xplore before were picked up from Port of Roatan. Although it rained during the horseback riding and ATV ride they still let us complete our excursion. All the staff were friendly and fun! Overall it was a wonderful experience and I definitely recommend booking!

Where do I begin? We knew we were in for a fun day but we didn't have an idea it would be this fun! It had just rained so the ATV trails were nice and messy for 4 wheeling. We enjoyed slinging mud on one another! We were taken to a beautiful private cove to wash ourselves off. The ziplines were long and soooo much fun! Then finishing off with a relaxing horseback stroll through the trails, and eventually the horses took us to a different private cove and galloped in the waves! We've been talking about the memories made from this excursion ever since!

Amazing facilities! Well organized and very efficient! Went from riding ATVs to horse riding to ziplining! All the tour operators were friendly!! Had clean restrooms and nice equipment! We had a great experience and will do it again when we return to that area! Loved the fact we could walk up to the excursions from our ship!!

My mom and I had such a fun time with all of the activities included in this excursion. If you are looking for picturesque activities, look no further but be careful with your camera as you will get muddy and the horses will take you for a ride! Despite my mom’s fear of heights, the staff (Bruce) were so patient with her and willing to talk her through the whole zipline process. Additionally, the staff is more than willing to accommodate for persons with disabilities during the activities. Overall, I would recommend this to adrenaline junkies and anyone wanting to enjoy the nature that Roatan has to offer.

Wait time was horrible and the cashier was rude. Other guest continued to be put before our group to the point of us waiting from 9AM- 1:30PM they waisted our time and the equipment was not up to standard!

Everything about this company was great. The gear, ATV's were new and well taken care of. Horse's were well maintained. The horse back ride in the ocean was amazing. Staff were on point with all of your needs.
One thing they need to work on is better signage, it was hard to find them with all the tour groups outside the gates. Other than that you would be silly to go anywhere else.... oh and price was way more than fair......

This was an amazing adventure. From riding th horses to ATV riding all the way down to zip lining, my family had fun. They enjoyed the park thoroughly. The tour guides for all the events were very respectful and they made sure the kids were safe. Cant express how beautiful the horseback riding on the beach was when it came to the views. It was such a beautiful scenery. Then the riding through the jungle on the ATVs was breathtaking. To ride on the coast of the island then get a little time in the play area was exciting. The ziplines were long and allow us to see the coast from a topographical view. The angle from the sky allowed us to see the different colors of the see and it was an immaculate perspective. I would recommend this place and I will definitely come back again.

I was a little worried at first because I had not received any communication on what to do, where to go, what to expect from the tour operator. So I reached out to Xplore Roatan and was able to connect with someone there who apologized and said he wasn't sure why he had not received my messages through Viator but was going to look into it. After giving me a Whatsapp number, I had no problem with communication after that.
One important note, especially if you are cruising and new to booking outside the cruise line, is to make sure when you are looking for your sign for transportation that there is an Explore Roatan and an Xplore Roatan. Do not mix these up! They are not the same. Make sure you have the name of the driver that is picking you up and ask for a photo of the sign they are holding. Roatan can be a little intimidating and honestly scary. I wish someone had prepared us the first time for what to expect. You will walk outside the comforts of the port to the side of a narrow road with cars and people all around you. You will likely walk a couple blocks down and get into someone's personal vehicle. They will be your personal driver for the trip.
Now for the actual adventure. We were given the choice of what order to do things. They recommended we go ahead and do the horses first since there were other large tour groups that we would have a more private experience. We had one couple with our family of 4 and it was great! The horse back ride took us through the jungle, the beach and through the ocean. This was a much more fuller experience than my husband and I had had years ago with a horseback ride on the beach.
I had read lots of reviews of other ATV tours with some other ports that we were also visiting. They talked about ATVs that broke down constantly and boring hot rides through the streets. We had a great ride through the jungle trails and around the beach. Not as fast as my teens would have liked to go, :) but plenty fast enough!
And then the zip line was by far our favorite! This was my first time to go on a zipline but I think we had 6-8 platforms and from what I read these were lengthy zip lines, (I only grabbed photo of one sign and it said 900 ft). The scenery was amazing, the guides took incredible photos and videos of each of us at all the lines. And they were SOO funny - making the entire experience relaxing and fun!
Each adventure, the guides stopped to take our photos and we were given an opportunity to enjoy the scenery instead of being rushed. We did bring plenty of cash to tip each of the guides (5 total for 3 adventures) at the recommended $20 each.
Recommendations: I kept my phone in a water tight case that I wore around my neck to take lots of photos. We brought bug spray but they did have some there. Of course sunscreen too. We kept our water bottle and personal items in a small locker on site (not included). They do sell bottled drinks there too. Your shoes will get wet on the horse ride through the ocean so we all wore shoes that we didn't mind getting wet. I luckily brought a small package of bandaids with me because I did get blisters from walking while wearing wet shoes and no socks. The total time at the park was just over 4 hrs. So we still had time to add a stop at a restaurant near the port on our way back.
*I did not like that our driver had told us we could leave our stuff in the car. Then proceeded to take the couple that had been on the Horseback ride and atv tour with us (they started earlier than us and had already done the ziplines) back to a restaurant to eat. Then back to the ship while we were at the restaurant to eat. Luckily I had taken our valuables out of the car and locked them in the locker - but we had left our other bags of personal belongings, change of clothes, etc. in the back seat while we were at Xplore Roatan. We had to wait for him to pick us up when we were done with the ziplines because he had taken off without our knowledge. Had we had an emergency and needed to leave, he would not have been there. We've booked a tour outside the cruise line in Roatan before and our driver was only our driver. She waited the entire time we were snorkeling and visiting sloths then came and ate with us at the restaurant after. I feel like this should have been communicated if we were going to be sharing a vehicle with people outside our party.
