After the aperitif we leave for Marzamemi for the visit of the village that will last about 40 minutes, where you will be free to taste a delicious Cremolata made with fresh fruit.

Unfortunately, it was totally destroyed by the 1693 Sicilian earthquake and rebuilt in a new position nearer to the Ionian Sea. But the new Noto is a masterpiece of Sicilian Baroque! Later we return to Siracusa (estimated arrival time h 4pm) Please note that if the tour does not reach at least two participants it will not be operated.

The easy route starts from the main entrance for about 1 km with a slight difference in altitude. Vendicari, the bird hotel, is today one of the most representative wetlands in Europe and its importance, from a naturalistic point of view, is recognized internationally. Of significant importance is the presence of endemic plants, halophytic plants and sclerophytic plants of the Mediterranean scrub: glasswort, carob, wild olive, mastic, myrtle and juniper coccolone which, in some places, reaches monumental proportions. The route allows the hiker to visit, after crossing the large marsh: the ancient Swabian Tower of Vendicari; the tuna fishery, of which substantial structures remain; the salt pans, today a place frequented by countless birds; Near the latter, there is a fish processing plant characterized by tanks for the production of "garum", a typical sauce used by the Greeks and Romans to season food.
