My friends and I had a wonderful time visiting these beautiful Baroque villages. Our driver, Maltese Claudio, was amazing! He was professional and friendly and offered to take photos of our group throughout the day which we really appreciated! While touring the destinations is self guided, Maltese Claudio gave us great suggestions of where to walk/what to see and brought us to a yummy restaurant for lunch in Modica.

Thanks to our driver Claudio. We were able to travel to Ragusa Ibla, Modica and Scicli in one day. Although we didn’t stay in each town for long but we managed to see the main streets and main churches. Claudio took us to photo spots along the way and help us took lots of family photos.

This was a good tour and an easy way to see three beautiful baroque towns without renting a car. The chocolate tasting in Modica was a great addition, and we also had a surprise limoncello tasting in Noto. I will say that lunch was a bit of an issue. We didn't end up eating until after 2 pm and our day started with an 8:30 pickup (early pickup was worth it though as we arrived in Ragusa before the crowds). However, I think had we mentioned earlier that we were hungry Claudio would have immediately dropped everything to help us have lunch, we just weren't sure of the schedule. So bring snacks, and think of this as more of a "it is what you make of it" type of tour and you'll be good! The towns are definitely worth it to see!

We loved visiting these towns and explored them on foot while our driver waited. We arrived in Ragusa before the crowds which gave us lots of space. We did wonder how the towns were built into the hillsides, though.

Claudio was a wonderful host and driver for this tour to the three Baroque towns of Ragusa, Modica, and Noto. While we could have used more time in some of the towns, this tour offers a good introduction to the region with several stops including historic churches, panoramic view points, and unstructured time to explore the streets on your own. We especially enjoyed the chocolate tasting in Modica! Claudio provided the right amount of introductory information to establish where we were, what to see, and where to meet next. Overall, would recommend highly!

We loved all three towns. Our driver Giovanni was very professional and easy to talk with. He dropped us off telling us what to see and picked us up efficiently. Being able to see three towns and time for a lovely lunch was something we couldn’t have done on public transport. It was quite expensive but worth it for what we achieved. Ragusa gardens were a nice walk. Noto’s buildings make the Main Street stunning.

Memorable visit to the stunning Baroque towns

Our wonderful guide and driver Claudio was key in making this tour very memorable.. He was knowledgeable, energetic and presented information about the three towns along with educating us about the land, landmarks, sea, plant types as we drove thru southern Sicily. Claudio made sure we stopped at key landmarks for photo opps along the way to each town. We have beautiful panoramic photos of the towns along with great pictures while in town. He also arranged a tasting of local foods for us in Noto. The stops in each town were approx 1.5 hours each and enough to give us a sense of each town’s character and amazing baroque architecture. We covered a lot of ground that day and returned very satisfied with our experience. This is definitely a good tour if you’re looking to catch all 3 towns with an expert who knows the area. Ask for Claudio as your guide.

The architecture of the towns of Ragusa, Modica and Noto is stunning. Without our own car this was a good option. Be aware that the driver will get you safely between the towns, imparting a little information- he is not a guide. Unfortunately the organizer booked six people on this tour and the small VW was far from appropriate. This did detract from our enjoyment. In retrospect I’d probably opt to pay significantly more, have a more comfortable vehicle and pay for a guide to optimize the experience.

Lovely way to glimpse three towns

This tour was a lovely way to explore 3 different Sicilian towns. Claudo was a wonderful guide unfortunately my Italian is little to none. Claudo and I were able to communicate well thru his English and a translation app. Our guide is a native Sicilian and a gracious host. He made a stop at little caffe and we had the best ricotta and cappuccino. Then onto Ragusa an essential on stop in Sicily. This alone could have been the trip. Even though we did not book a private trip we were just the 2 of us and the guide. He allowed us linger and added a museum stop so that we could view a Caravaggio painting rarely seen. Belissima. We stopped in Modica for a panoramic view, lunch and chocolate tasting and small tour then off to Noto Filled with culture. We were very tired by this point. It is a good way to skim the towns. Ragusa & Noto were highlights for me.

We booked this tour because we had been driving ourselves on a tour across southern Italy and thought it would be nice to have someone else do the driving for a day. It was a wonderful idea! Claudio was our driver who brought along Margherite (I’m sorry if I misspelled that). They were delightful and showed us many points of interest along the way. Claudio was quick to accommodate my request to make a stop to see a Caravaggio that was on display at a specific church. Ragusa, Módica, and Noto were fabulous cities and the day spent on this tour was one of our many highlights! Money well spent!

Giovanni was a great tour guide. He had many stories to share and was very pleasant. He brought us to a great restaurant for lunch, where we had the best cheese filled ravioli I have ever had. We had a wonderful time and met some very nice people from Minnesota and from Sweden. I would definitely recommend this tour.

City of Ragusa with its spectacular location and beautiful Duomo. Giovanni also gave us a ride around the city to multiple viewpoints. Beautiful town of Noto, and cathedral of Modica. We had a very good lunch in Modica, and also recommend local chocolate.
