Overview

The naturalistic oasis of Vendicari is a famous natural reserve well known for its incredible beauty and its unique dune ambient. We will watch birds and walk on an easy path toward the beach and some historical buildings such as the old Tonnara and the Aragonese Tower of XVI century.

Federico was an excellent guide for the walk through Vendicari Nature Reserve. Despite it being his birthday, he went the extra mile to ensure that the expectations of all the members of the group were met. He was very knowledgeable about the birds in and around the reserve. He brought along a spotting scope that enabled us to see the birds clearly over a distance. We learnt a lot about the plants and history of the area. We had a great tour and can highly recommend Federico!
