Nice overview of Quebec...

Pamela_W, Jul 2026
Nice overview of Quebec City. I would have preferred a real tour guide rather than a recording as the voice over didn’t always align and not all stops were called out.

Disappointing

Amber_K, Jul 2026
The bus stops at 4 pm and often takes 45 minutes before another bus comes. I hopped off and then took over an hour before another bus came so I ran out of time since they stop after 4pm. Only rode for about an hour so not worth the money for me!

Not too interesting

Kevin_C, Jul 2026
It’s a nice bus and a pleasant ride. Narration is recorded. You listen with earphones for your language. But while Old Town Quebec is fascinating, the rest of the city is just a normal big city, and that’s where 90% of the tour goes. Also note that if you need to change your ticket to the following day you cannot. They made us eat the charge for the one day and buy new tickets for the next, so you might not want to get tickets too far in advance.

Great way to see and learn about the city!

Julia_M, Jun 2026
Very easy to use. Start at any of the designated stops. They can scan your ticket. The audio, with fresh disposable earphones they provide, is very clear and easy to understand with 7 language options. Drivers are friendly and helpful. I used the message function on the Viator ticket page to get help with the amazing real time map to figure out where the buses and stops are. Be on the top deck for the great views!

Doubtful experience witf Viator.

Ingeborg_W, Jun 2026
If you book via internet, be aware that once you booked, you will have real troubles finding the location of the stops, because your confirmation will NOT give you that information. Better book in info tourism or at the hotel where they give you map and directions. Calling Viator won't help. Their robot sends you to the touroperator but won't give you the number. Tour itself was worth every bitbof it. However, if party is more than 2, take a cab. Much cheaper to get around. Maybe less background info, but if loud Canadians are sitting behind you, you won't hear the audio anyways....

No live narration

AMY_F, Jun 2026
We were on 2 buses on the hop on hop off on the same day and neither of the drivers provided any instructions or live narration on the microphone. It would have been helpful to hear information about how to deboard and why the bus was stopped for extended duration at the museum of civilization.

Great ride

Catherine_G, Jun 2026
This was a great experience to get to know Quebec. The ride captures the city and provides an understanding of its rich history.

Hop on hop off but really very few places to hop off

Marc_L, Jun 2026
There was limited narration during the tour. Could have given a lot more on history Quebec city is a great place to explore on foot.

Not Easy To Hop Off

Keith_L, Jun 2026
We got to see a lot of Quebec City on this excursion but there is no way to communicate with the driver that you are wanting off if you are on the top level. They would stop at a schedule stop but before you could get off, they were taking off again. I would still recommend this trip because Quebec City is beautiful and it was nice to get an overview of the city..

Very informative and...

SteveDworschak, Jun 2026
Very informative and friendly format. Many significant points around the city were highlighted and explained.

Informative

Dannette_H, Jun 2026
All Good, very informative, good driver, clean bus. ran on -time., bus was neither to hot ortoo cold and this review having to be at least 100 characters is annoying.

Very informative and...

Angela_C, Jun 2026
Very informative and enjoyable. We lucked out with an iffy weather forecast and could sit on the upper deck. Bring a tight fitting hat as Quebec City is windy!

Way too crowded and unreliable!

Kari_R, Jun 2026
It was extremely crowded on a Saturday morning. We made the mistake of getting on a bus near our hotel and the top was already full. We had seats below, however the driver just kept piling people onto the bus with no seats left, so they soon blocked all views. We should have just hopped off, but other customers were saying that it was 35-45 minutes til another bus. We ended up walking and seeing more and being more comfortable. This hop on hop off experience was not a good one. Others in our party did a 3 hour scheduled bus tour and loved it. They also saw a lot more and were comfortable.

A must do when you arrive

Richard_F, Jun 2026
An outstanding way to enjoy the city and get an excellent background on why the city is great. Excellent tour recording and beautiful sites made our two day ticket worth every penny.

Joan_W, Jun 2026
Narrative was very Informative. The route captured all the important sights. Helpful friendly staff.

Bring your Dramamine

Neil_S, Jun 2026
It’s a really bumpy ride with sudden starts and stops. The tape is informative, but I became nauseous after a few minutes.

My visit to the Fairmont

Adriana_E, Jun 2026
Very informative. Friendly guide. You get to experience areas that public are not allowed. Beautiful hotel.

Girls trip

Myrna_B, Jun 2026
Really fun, shows you the entire city and you can get off to visit other monuments or parks. You have headsets to listen to the history of the town. Enjoyed it very much . Will do it again

An extremely good tour for the price!

Kathryn_T, Jun 2026
The coach drivers are VERY helpful and friendly, carrying my walker onto the bus and joking with us. We enjoyed the tour very much. Our issues were my mobility and our lack of knowledge of the city, plus not knowing enough French to be comfortable with asking questions of other people at the sites. I found it harder to choose which stops to stay at. Perhaps the site could go into more detail on what each stop involves. We started out from the wrong stop, but the contact responded, and the driver came and picked us up. Sorry for not knowing the area, we were complete Newbies! All in all, the tour was a VERY good investment and showed us more of Quebec City than we otherwise would have seen in the 2 1/2 days we stayed. This was our introduction to Quebec City and we enjoyed it very much.

Some of the monitors do...

Susan_S, Jun 2026
Some of the monitors do not work . Not enough room down stairs for all that sit upstairs if it rains.

Scenic But Long Bus Ride

Linda_K, Jun 2026
The views were nice from the upper level of the bus. We didn’t get a schedule of the stops. We decided to do the whole loop one time, it was 2 hours long. We decided not to get off since it would be a long wait for the next pick up. It was a nice tour of everything around Quebec.

Searched for the pick up...

Colbert_H, May 2026
Searched for the pick up Location On my Map in Quebec and was unable to use this service. Did attemp to Call the Contact person(s), unable to connect.

Great way to see Quebec

Janine_L, May 2026
The narration on the english selection was a little jarring for me. Her pronunciation of certain sites and key quebecois figures continuoously startled me. Would prefer an english speaking francophone who could pronoun names and sites as they were meant to spoken. Otherwise a great way to see Quebec

Informative and Fun

Suzanne_W, May 2026
The tour takes just under two hours to go to all 16 stops. Easy to hop on and off. Viator wasn’t very clear about where to get on the bus as it didn’t provide us with a map. I did my own research and found a map on Unitours, who actually does the tour.

QC Hippity Hoppity

NANCY_B, May 2026
Tour was very informative. Loved the audio version using headset in English. Understood the narrator very clearly. The tour gave us a great overview of Quebec City

Best way to see Quebec City

Christina_S, May 2026
This is the best way to quickly see the city. We recommend you take a full loop and take note of the stops you want to revisit. Then use your ticket to return to this stops.

Scenic tour

Don_R, May 2026
Great way to get the lay of the land. Informative. Comfortable and the audio is interesting. Highly recommend

Overview of Historic Quebec City

Kathi_G, May 2026
This tour provides headphones to plug in at your seat. You select your preferred language to listen to the recorded commentary. Wear comfortable shoes! Quebec is full of inclines and steps.

Good to learn the area!

FredaDenise_B, May 2026
It was very helpful about learning different neighborhoods and kept to a good schedule was very much on .

Hop on hop off in Quebec City is a 7.

David_S, May 2026
It doesn’t run after 5 pm. Several of the audio plug ins don’t work. If your on a full bus you may not be able to listen to the narrator.
