A pleasant ride through a beautiful city

Don_P, Oct 2025
It was beautiful city, and the bus gave a nice overview. If you have the time, I would recommend traveling all the way around once and then planning your stops on the on the second trip.

The usual 5 star opening morning tour.

stuart_m, Oct 2025
Great way to get comfortable with the city so you can plan out your trip and get your bearings.. Covered the city and history

Beautiful City!

Norma_L, Oct 2025
This Hop-On Hop-Off tour is a wonderful way to see the sights and learn about the rich history of this beautiful city. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting.

Great

William_W, Oct 2025
We take a lot of hop on hop off when we travel. This is by far the best one we’ve taken. Audio was excellent. Stops were great. Highly recommend

Enjoyed tour

Diane_D, Oct 2025
We enjoyed the tour although it was a chilly day to have to sit on top! When you buy multiple tickets online you must go to the information building at stop 1 to get separate tickets printed. We were a group of 8 and wanted to split up, but did not know how to do that with only one pass given digitally.

Driver day 1 did nothing...

Mae_B, Oct 2025
Driver day 1 did nothing speak English well or refused to. We had a great day pass for 6 and he couldn’t answer questions

Not good for Cruise Ship days in Port

Dwayne_P, Oct 2025
About 50 people were standing for 2 hours out in the cold waiting for bus. Cruise ship was in. Unable to handle load. Tickets oversold for 6 buses. Got a refund quickly.

The bus was well located...

Cathy_H, Oct 2025
The bus was well located and clean. Covered the important Sites of Quebec City and the audio was good

Great tour. There’s so...

David_M, Oct 2025
Great tour. There’s so much to see in Quebec and this is a great way to get an overview. The hop on hop off feature gives you great flexibility.

Good day

Alfred_M, Oct 2025
Good over all day on the HOHO bus going to all of downtown. It got a bit crowded, but it all worked out in the end

NEVER use this touring service!

Bill_M, Oct 2025
Absolutely horrible experience. We had to wait over 2 hours in 40 degree Quebec weather just to get on the bus. Only two busses came by during that 2 hour period, and both were both packed full….so no one could get on. Probably 60-70 people were waiting. I will NEVER use this tour service again!!

Hop on hop off tour of Quebec City!

Kim_E, Oct 2025
Great way to see and learn about the city when you don’t have a vehicle! Learned a lot about the different places! Just right length of time…just over an hour!!

Okay tour, very bad logistics

vaugirard12, Oct 2025
It took 2.5 hours before we were able to get on a bus. We waited at bus stop number 7 at 10 AM. The first bus didn't show up until 10:50 and it was full. The second bus showed up 45 minutes later, also full. We finally took an Uber to the Chateau Frontenac, waited another 45 minutes in line to get on the bus. The bus was rerouted due to some kind of activity in town but no announcement about the rerouting was made. The tour itself was fine. We saw quite a bit of the city and the narration was generally okay. Sometimes, though, very little context was given such as "there was a fire here in [year] and 200 people died". I can understand that this was a tragic event but how did that change the city? Did they create new laws because of it? Did they make changes in the building code that reflect what we see today? The statement felt a bit random without more context. We thought we would use the two day pass as a means of transportation around the city to visit different areas but the infrequency of the busses and the crowds (which meant we could not get on or back on) made this impossible. There were three cruise ships in town, plus the festival. However, the company should have been able to predict how this would affect the passenger experience and either put more busses on the route or stop overselling the tickets.

Jerry_K, Oct 2025
The guide was excellent. The tour was informative and entertaining. The only thing that kept it from being perfect was the lack of leg room for tall people. My partner and I (both 6') could not share a seat because we had to sit sideways in the seats.

Kay_S, Oct 2025
On the day we went I think too many tickets were sold. We had to wait 30 minutes for a bus. I was also disappointed that everything was done by a recording. We had friends that went and driver was giving information.

Packed ride

Phil_W, Oct 2025
I had a 2 day ticket. The first day I got off only to get back on to a packed, standing room only bus. Then the driver kept stopping for more people even when there was no standing room left. Horrible way to see the beautiful city of Quebec City.

Great Experience

RoseAnn_J, Oct 2025
Excellent experience, greatly enjoyed. Easy to get on and off at each stop. Convenient locations and time schedules

Beautiful City

fclebeau, Oct 2025
Quebec City is a beautiful city which we loved. And using the on/off bus for 2 days gave us a wonderful overfew of the old city and the new. We would recommend anyone coming to visit this historical city use this easy, relaxing service to see this marvelous city.

It was a great experience...

Sriram_G, Oct 2025
It was a great experience and extremely enjoyable trip to see different key locations in the city and hear about the history.

Don’t do it

Serena_W, Oct 2025
There was no seating so we had to stand for the limited time we rode, then we waited over 44 minutes when we hopped off only to not be able to get on the next bus due to it being full. We ended up walking back to the hotel.

Quicker to walk!

Kevin_S, Oct 2025
There do not seem to be enough buses as waits are very long and at certain stops the bus is too full to take the queue waiting to get on. Quite a few of the commentary units do not work. We ended up not using the buses whenever possible.

Wait time between the...

DeeAnn_S, Oct 2025
Wait time between the buses is long and can be crowded. Tour route was very nice! Covered alot of sights.

Only option for tickets...

Jeffrey_K, Oct 2025
Only option for tickets is digital and had difficulty accessing once got on bus. Have them ready before going to the bus. find out where the stop is before you leave home, no maps available on the bus. Headphones and narration was great, clean, informative, ran on time.

Love Quebec City Vibe

Debbie_S, Oct 2025
The HoHo 2-hour route was very informative and I learned so many interesting facts about Quebec City. The stops were easy to find and covered all the highlights of Old Town and beyond. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately

Robert_H, Oct 2025
Terrible frequency and behind schedules. Full busses after waiting an hour and a half. Poor planning for multiple cruise ships in port.

Terrible

Martha_T, Oct 2025
The busses do not come on time and there is often no room to get on!! Terrible experience. Never know what stop you are on!

Cruise transport

paula_g, Oct 2025
Made disembarking easy. Suggestion- get a later disembark time and wait till your driver arrives. It was so much easier than getting a taxi.

First bus came, it was...

Carol_H, Oct 2025
First bus came, it was full, waited another 45 minutes next bus was full! We asked bus driver what else we could do and he said nothing! He said it’s a busy busy day and he would ask for a refund!!!

Don’t reserve if cruise ships in town

William_M, Oct 2025
We reserved a 2 day hop on hop off around the city. We wasted our money as we tried to get on at 3 different locations and the bus was crowded. Don’t reserve if there are cruise ships are in port. We reserve these tickets 2 months ago and the HQ would not honor our tickets

Too many delays

jane_Y, Oct 2025
Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing and not as described. The bus was 25 minutes late for our scheduled pick-up at Cartier Street and René-Lévesque, then we experienced long delays (a 40-minute stop at Château Frontenac and a 30-minute stop due to a “technology issue”). The English audio guide was not working, and the live guide provided very little commentary. The buses were so crowded that we couldn’t hop on and off as intended. We ended up spending nearly two hours on the bus and saw very little of Quebec City.
