Great way to explore old city of Quebec first! 2 day pass was perfect! As able to know city and see what really interested us to see! Personnel were very friendly!

Everything was very disorganized. When we checked in and got our wristband we were told that the next double decker bus wouldn’t be there for an hour, but we could board the tour bus that was leaving in 15 minutes. Then she called someone on the radio and said it would only be 15 minutes. It actually was 45. Nobody seemed to know what they were doing. The first bus that showed up was really old and I had doubts whether it would survive the journey. The driver said he was done for the day and we couldn’t board. When the newer double decker bus arrived it was really nice. The tour around the city was informative but be aware you might have to wait quite a bit to get on a bus.

A good way to see the highlights of the city. But, as a first time user, it wasn't clear how to signal if you wanted to get off at a spot. Additionally, two of the numbers on the Quebec City map were different from what the narration said.

Once we actually got to the bus it was a great experience.. For anyone booking this tour, go to the operators website to find out the actual locations to board the bus. What Viator gave us was incorrect. Other than that it’s a great informative experience.

Bus goes through the best pays of the city. They utilize earbuds (supplied) to tell you about the sites and interject some history along the way. Great way to get an overview of the city.

It was hard to track the bus down to board for the first time, that was frustrating and made us less interested in hopping off before we’d made a full circuit. But once we were on, it was very educational. A great introduction to many different parts of the city.

My wife and I recently visited Quebec City and used the "Hop On - Hop Off" bus tour. It was a great way to see the city. We went completely around the tour first and then went back and got off the bus at the stops that we were interested in. My only complaint is that the list of the addresses of the pickup spots is WRONG. The list that they sent us had "507 Rue Saint-Joseph E" as a pickup location. It is NOT. Fortunately we spoke to a very helpful employee at a nearby hotel and he got us to the right place.

The pickup spot was incorrect on the website so we waited for over an hour until I called and messaged and quickly got redirected. The ride was beautiful and informative. The audio was not lud enough to overcome the wind and construction on noise. It is still a nice way to get an overview of a beautiful city.

Great for seeing different parts of the city. Not great for moving from one part of the city to another. The order of the tour might not work if you just want to relocate.

The e-ticket can be easily lost in your phone, just by accessing a new app. I had to call in to get a new ticket. I selected an email attachment, which stayed available. The drivers were very courteous.

The bus was comfortable. The driver was good. I liked the audio guide. Learned a lot about history of the Canada. All the stops were interesting and beautiful. We got off on citadel and walk around taking lots of pictures and walking on the wall. The bus was right on time on the first pick up and exactly within 30 minutes to pick us up from the stop that we got off. Highly recommended this tour. You can see a lot in 2.5 hours.

The tour covered quite a number of sites with running commentary. The only point I would make is this is more correctly a sight-seeing tour as the bus makes very brief stops. So if you get off you must wait thirty minutes before another bus comes.

It was a great way to learn about Quebec City and see many sights and views that you wouldn't be able to if you were only walking. The hop on/hop off feature was great!

Don’t waste your money. I’ve done the hop on/off in many cities and this was the worst experience ever.
There was no map of the route that I could find so no idea where the stops were except the first stop/address that was listed on Viator even though it says you can get on at any of them. (Not until the end of the day did I notice a QR code on one of the signs telling you how far away the next bus is, but heaven forbid your phone doesn’t work!)
We got onto the bus and it sat there for way too long. Got to 2 maybe 3 stops in half an hour. Something clearly wasn’t working but no announcement from the driver or no info about what was going on or no info that the bus was going to sit at these locations for that long. Even the woman sitting behind me went to talk to the driver more than once to find out what the heck was happening. No commentary from the driver, only the headset gave commentary and it was rather ridiculously short with not much info and would even cut off mid sentence without finishing (I wonder if that was the driver cutting it off since some of the commentary didn’t match where the bus was).
The stop listed on Viator was just outside Dufferin Terrace. Had we known where we were and how long we’d just be sitting on a bus at this stop would take, we would have taken a stroll around here first before getting on a bus, but thought instead to catch it now and start the tour to know where we want to get off.. Then the route took us through upper part of town that we had just come from and ended where we parked the car (doh!) before finally going into lower part of town that we actually wanted to see. We were so annoyed by the tour and waste of time on this bus by this time we just had to get off the bus, realizing later it was literally down a flight of stairs from the first stop we got on. We would have been 100x happier walking around for a bit had the driver given any warning about when it’s set to depart or even the direction the bus was going. Instead no help at all except which channel to listen to. We could have walked around old town, enjoyed some drinks, shopped a little, actually experienced the city I had looked forward to most on this trip, but instead a poor choice to buy this ticket led to an awful experience on this bus. I saw one of the yellow busses pass us at least 3x. This was the kind of service I would demand a refund for if I thought someone would actually listen.
Then couldn’t even catch a bus later to finish the ride for the last few stops when we tried to. Did not see some of the sights people posted on this site. Were roads closed or something on the route? That was misleading.
Skip this tour, especially if your main goal is to focus on Old Town and just enjoy the day.

The narrative during the ride was excellent, but there were extreme delays with buses arriving and only having buses running every 30 minutes does not give you time to fully experience some of the stops due to the time constraints of the ships time in port

Unfortunately the stops were not coordinated with the RED/BLUE signage that was on stop 11/12.
