Our guide was born in Mexico, and said he had been in Quebec City for 45 years. Unfortunately, his Spanish accent was so strong that it made it extremely difficult to understand what he was saying. Our whole group felt that way. Unfotunately, it ruined what should have been an awesome tour.

We are sorry the tour wasn't up to your standarts. Carlos is one of our main guide and generally as very good reviews. He's really been in Quebec City for 45 years and is fluent in English, Spanish and French. Quebec being a French province, all of our guide will have an accent.
We apologize if you had trouble with the accent of the tour guide. As I said, he has great reviews and, even with his accent, is a bible of history and gives great tour.

This was probably the best bike tour we have taken in all of our travels. Our guide was knowledgeable and seemed to have great pride in the history of the area. We had a sunny day with pleasant temperatures. Biking is a much better way to see the beauty of Quebec City than a bus tour.

It was ok. Too many stops, and tour guide was nice, but he struggled in English and his history telling was scattered. Loved the e-bikes though!

I am sorry your experience was not up to our usual standarts. All of our guide are certfied by the city and follow english classes. Although they may have big accents as French is the first lanuage here, all of our guides are fully billingual and speaks both french and english.

We enjoyed it, but it felt like a 1-hour tour stretched out to 3 hours. Would have enjoyed just renting e-bikes and exploring on our own.

I am sorry the experience was not up to our usual standart. We have done this tour many times over the years and, with having a guide giving the history and the different area, 3 hours is the time we choose so you don't feel rushed on the tour and you get all the information on the tour.
A rental would have been quicker, but the experience is completely different as you don't get the insight from the guide.
Again, I am sorry the experience was not up the your standart, but that is the reason behind the tour being 3 hours.

Danielle was an excellent guide and provided the group with a ton of historical information. She made sure that all the members of the group were following on their bikes. The numerous hills in QC were a bit challenging at times.

It was so much fun! Lots of riding, so it's good exercise, but not too hard because it's an e-bike, so it's suited for all fitness levels. Our guide Danielle was very knowledgeable and friendly. You get to see a lot of the city and hear about the history of the area. I recommend this highly!

-excellent customer service- originally scheduled on a cold, wet, windy day- the company reached out to reschedule;
Electric bike assist is an assist- you still have to bike;
-safety not a priority -only one person to manage this group of 7, no one from the bike shoppe bringing up the rear, often separated from main group, traffic. - we seemed to play “chicken” with the traffic more often than not;
No water provided though several stops along with bathroom facilities available the first 1/2 of the tour;
-easier than a traditional bike ride but doesn’t mean it is easy.

I am sorry you didn't have the greatest experience with us. Everything mentionned in your review such as biking with cars, having an electric assis bike, being able to pedal is mentionned in our tour description. We try and be as transparant as possible. Full throttle bike are actually illegal on the bike path in Québec City. It would be considered a Scooter by law, which is why we use electric assist bike.
As per the safety issue, I am very sorry you didn't feel safe. Most bike tour around the world will have a guide per 10 people. We make safety our priority which is why you are with a small group with one guide. Smaller than this ratio would have been a private tour, which we offer. As per the traffic, we clearly state that you are with cars during the tour.

Really nice bikes - a lot of get up and go. We took the trail along with waterfront toward the bridge - absolutely stunning scenery. Canada does an excellent job with well maintained bike only paths, grass, and unique outdoor art. Highly recommended!!

I did not think I would be able to get up that steep hill and frankly was quite afraid of it, but I pressed on and realized that the bicycle really did do all the work! I enjoyed the challenge and the tour!

Had a wonderful experience!
Because of a professional bike race, we were accommodated with an earlier time as many roads were closed off.
Danielle, our tour guide did a remarkable job guiding us through the tour as she had to reroute due to the race. She was extremely knowledgeable with a local insight of Quebec. I would highly recommend this experience.

I could not get my foot on the second pedal. I was not given attention to adjust my seat appropriately. It ended up being too low so I could not bend my knee enough to get my foot on the pedal. The tour guide took off without checking to see if everyone was there. He was not very pleasant once he came back to see what was going on. We were grateful that our money was refunded.

There should be a warning that to do this trip there needs to be a certain level of physical ability and age. Both my husband and I are over 60 and were unsuccessful at our attempt to ride these bikes. I suffered a fall getting off the bike and ended up bruised and scraped. We were offered a refund which we took.

We booked the tour three days before the date of the tour. The tour was booked for 1:30 pm. We went to the meeting place in the morning to ensure we had the correct meeting place and were informed that no tour was booked for the afternoon. We were not informed of this, and if we had not gone to the meeting place in the morning, we would have pitched up to hear there was no tour booked for us. Because there was no tour, we decided to go biking by ourselves. At 1:19 pm I received a call that they found a guide and the tour was on. So, no problem. It was a problem because we were busy biking about 10 km from the meeting point. This is bad service. If you book a tour, I suggest you contact the company beforehand to make sure if there actually will be a tour

It was rainy, and windy for many parts of our ride, but the electric bikes made it doable even in bad weather ( and we were supplied rain ponchos) . Pierre was a great guide, knowledgeable. A great way to explore the city, learn about its history and get some exercise.
Recommend calling bike tour company ahead before going to starting point. Our starting point was changed but would not have know if I didn't call first. Highly recommend.

Phil tells you, gives you the date, history and different views on it from a theological, cultural and local perspective...one of the best tours I've ever done...incredible.
