Meet the tour guide and group at a bike shop in Old Québec City’s Lower Town district. After getting fitted for a bike and helmet, listen to a brief safety orientation before beginning the ride to Montmorency Falls. This relaxing trip covers 16 miles (25 kilometers) on mostly flat terrain.
Pedal along the northern outskirts of the city, over the picturesque Saint-Charles River and along the Corridor du Littoral, a two-way bicycle-only lane.
Stop at Domaine de Maizerets, a popular urban park with walking trails, wildlife and an arboretum that has been recognized as one of Québec's 20 most beautiful gardens. Locals visit for family outings, concerts and bird-watching, plus walking, running or riding along the pedestrian- and bicycle-friendly paths.
Next, explore the bike route along the Saint Lawrence River, with a view of windsurfers and bird-watchers along Beauport Bay.
Upon arrival at Montmorency Falls, leave the bike at the base of the waterfall and hop aboard a cable car for a ride to the top and a breathtaking view. At 272 feet (83 meters), Montmorency Falls is an impressive 100 feet (30 meters) higher than iconic Niagara Falls.
Along the way, learn about the history of Québec City and the surrounding countryside.
The ride ends with a return trip to Old Québec City.

Great experience & highly recommend. Easy ride, level. Once you’re outside the city, even better. Our guide Victoria was superb! Were each 55 and our 23 yr old daughter with us. Gentle ride and even the steps down at Montmorency Falls comfortable to do.

It was a fun e-bike ride with very little change in elevation. Almost all on bike paths, so it was very safe. You get to view the falls from the top and bottom. Ride the tram up and down or take the stairs down for a better view. Our guides were great.

Our bike ride and experience at the falls was a wonderful experience.
We highly recommend this tour. E-bikes were easy to ride and well maintained. Guide provided lots of historical information. Falls were a lovely sight especially with autumn colors.

The ride was as advertised, about 14 miles total from Quebec City to the falls. We were on bike paths the entire way and it felt very safe and mainly a flat ride — no big up hill. Felix was our tour guide and was very knowledgeable about the area. Loved this tour.

Very fun, this was our 1st time on e-bikes. Our guide explained how to use them well & made sure our bikes & helmets were properly fit. He stopped along the way to show us sites & give us history on what we were seeing. We had ample time to enjoy the falls, which were beautiful. My only complaint was that in order to accommodate a couple that had dinner reservations at a set time he had us going faster than I thought he should have on the way back. But on the whole we loved this excursion!

Great way to get a feeling of fall in Quebec in 4 hrs. The falls are amazing. A 1 hr e bike ride with a few stops cable car up the views! We walked down the stairs I was a little reserved but very glad we did and an hour bike back. We took this in off our cruise stay wonder weather great day

Tour guides are fantastic. Good bikes though seats are very hard! The ride out to falls includes stops for guide to tell about local history and sites. And of course the falls are magnificent!

Nice half day trip. Beautiful waterfall, pleasant walk in the surrounding park. Bike ride mostly through green areas away from traffic, though passing through some industrial sections.

We were glad our tour was in the morning because the afternoon was much busier. The ride out to the Falls is flat with several stops along the way in parks. Our guide Guy was fantastic!! We’ve done several e-bike tours in other cities, and Guy was our favorite guide yet! Everyone in our group enjoyed the outing.

An unforgettable experience — all thanks to Luc! He showed us how to use the e-bikes, did a fit & safety check, & made sure we had snacks & water packed. All along the way he shared insights about the local history, architecture, and geology, & asked if we were comfortable with the pace. When a train blocked the bike path threatening a 20-minute delay, Luc quickly pivoted and took us on a delightful tour of a local neighborhood. What a fantastic way to experience Quebec City and the falls! Highly recommend!! Worth every penny & more to have a great guide bringing the city to life.

Wow, we had a good tour experience with Barry our guide. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. His mannerism was extremely pleasant. The tour was easily manageable on a regular bike or an E bike. It is approximately 8 miles to the falls and 8 miles back. There is some walking also when you get to the Falls. Unfortunately, on the way back after half a mile of riding, my husband‘s bike got a flat tire. Barry replaced the tube, but that still would not hold the air. We had to end the tour and catch an Uber back to our hotel. We left Barry with our bikes to deal with. The company pleasantly gave us a partial refund. Sometimes things happen that are just out of one’s control but the situation was quickly resolved.

Had such a great time. What a wonderful way to see the falls. This was the first time we had been on an E-Bike and our guide made it very easy for us. Even if you have not risen an E-Bike this is a great way to familiarize yourself and have a great time.

This is an easy paved bike ride to Montmorency Falls. We were thankful for the e-bike as the return trip had a decent headwind. The falls are beautiful and well worth the trip. Barry was an exceptional guide, giving us a good amount of historical information and plenty of time to take photos. I would definitely recommend this tour and I will look into doing it again if I return to Quebec.

Our tour was to the Montmorency Falls with guide Annabelle. She was so enthusiastic and entertaining during the tour! She was extremely passionate and we loved that! The bike ride was very fun with a lot of great views and historical information. Annabelle showed us all of the spots that would be missed if you went on your own! We had a nice private tour with only my party in the group. We were given tips and ideas on activities and things to do which were lovely! Great tour!

Our British tour guide, Barry, was top notch! We felt very safe on our ride, and our tour had just the right amount of stops for interesting history lessons of the area. With that being said, he also kept the pace moving and with the electrical bikes, pedaling against the wind was no problem. Another participant on our tour was an avid cyclist and didn’t even engage the electric component, but my husband and I really appreciated it. We encountered some light rain and Barry stopped the group for he had packed a disposable rain poncho for us if we wanted to use it.
This was a lovely bike tour, entertaining, and would be good for avid bikers as well as those who are not used to the distance or biking against the wind.

Guy was fantastic! Friendly and accommodating. Electric bikes made it a very easy trip. Trails and scenery were fantastic and falls were so cool to see! We took the long way down (stairs) that added some extra views and picture spots. Highly recommend!

This was an amazing way to see Quebec City. Exercise and the falls. Our tour guide was amazing and knowledgeable. Love the entire trip. We had e bikes which was great. Easy flat ride. Love the falls, so cool to be able to walk over it. I would do it again. Cable car up to falls was quick. We chose to take stairs down. Really nice view of falls. 450 steps but many landings for breaks and views. Very easy for us. Loved this tour.
