The coordination of the rides from the drivers needs serious improvement
They didnt tell us specifically even though I messaged twice to ask where to meet for pickup so that wasted 20 minutes. Multiple people were confused. Then they combined our excursion with others and we waited over an hour after we were done for other groups to finish their excursions. Not to mention the various drop offs and pickups at multiple resorts. We wasted hours! Would not recommend.

Very beautiful place, well made zip lines, professional staff. Definitely worth it.
Be aware of the drive forth and back as it is shared transport so if you are picked up first, you travel the longest. I would say the price of the tour is targeted for Americans, so for other nationalities it is a bit expensive.

The actual excursion itself was extremely fun and well organized, but there is a lot of time spend waiting for and on transportation.
The excursion itself is advertised as a dual zipline experience but there was only one dual cable out of the 12.
The communication for pickup was pretty clear and prompt. However they communicated the time they would start picking people up, not when they will be at your specific pickup spot (so if you are the 5th resort getting picked up, it will be significantly later than their stated time). We picked the PM option and pickup was stated for 1:50 with actual pickup time being 2:10 (2nd stop).
They provided a bottle of water that slipped into the harness with a dedicated water bottle holder. I was able to keep my fanny pack in addition to a waterproof phone lanyard.
The commute to the zipline spot was around 1.25 hours from when we were picked up (we were the second resort picked up). You will ride with both people doing the zipline experience and those doing the monkey land experience (offered by the same company: Runners Adventures). The commute there included a tour by the bus driver.
The ziplining it self was a lot of fun and lasted for a total time of around one hour. Once you do the first zip line, the other 11 are back to back and occur in rapid succession. Once ziplining. It was a lot of fun and the ziplining itself lasted the perfect amount of time. It’s hard to take any video or photos on the zipline itself. Cost of photos they take scale by # of people starting at $20 for 1 to $70 for 8 and more $$$ for more people (I wasn’t sure about the full scale)
After you finish, this is when the waiting for transportation really occurs. We waited for around 1.5 hours after we finished to when we were on the shuttle and on the way back. This occurs because you are essentially waiting for the people doing the monkey island experience that you arrived with. This was probably the most frustrating part. I would recommend doing a bundle experience so you are doing something the whole time (if possible)

Overall, I think if there wasn’t so much waiting for transportation, this excursion would be 5 stars and worth the $75 per person price tag. The commute time is already long given its location relative to the resorts, so the 1.5 hour wait time really negatively compounds.

Firstly the zip lining was great. All the staff there were really friendly but also made sure you were safe and follow instructions at all time. We went as a family of 4 (children 11&12). All of us really enjoyed it and had a laugh. Make sure to have shorts with pockets if you want to take your phone - bag goes in a tub or a locker for $5. You have a pouch for water make sure to take one each as it’s hot walking up a lot of stairs. The issue is the transport. Of course you expect it to take a while with picking up hotel guests but it was ridiculous. We were gone 1pm-7:30pm and the zip lining was 3pm-4:30pm. This wasn’t just our experience but many others too. After being picked up from our hotel and other guests, we waited about 40 minutes in a car park / services for all the other buses with people to come. Then they swap you onto a different bus for your activity. So 2.5 hours to get somewhere that was definitely not that far. Then at the end of the zip lining we had to wait an hour on some benches (there’s nothing to do and the zip lining area closed) for other people doing a different activity (the monkey land) to finish as theirs went longer before all piling back onto buses. As it’s majority families going the children all start to get restless. I don’t mind if it took 1-1.5 hours each way as you know it takes longer to get the guests but 2.5 hours was ridiculous and speaking to others who had been before, not a one off!! 5 stars for activity but the transport situation needs addressing.

This was the best experience.. pick up from our hotel was on time an fun our guide Emilio was awsome and the zipline staff where very friendly we booked the afternoon zipline an it was great 10/10 i highly recommend this tour !!!!!

Great 1/2 day trip for the 1st time or the experts. 12 lines. Can stop after 8 or do all. Children under 12 years stop at 8. Our driver “Tom” Cruze was great showing us things along the way. They have lockers to rent $5. The employees there are very helpful and patient especially when you need it.

Out of the 6hours you zip line for maybe 30mins. The rest of the time you are traveling( depending on where you are for us it was 1 hour to and from for a total of 2hours) or waiting for enough people to do the zip line and then for the other excursions they offer to be done so you can go back to your hotel. Had I known the zip line was only 30mins and the rest of the 5 1/2 hours is spent in a vehicle or waiting we would have never have done this. The zip lining was good but not worth the money and waisting almost a whole day of vacation!! When I expressed my disappointment to the “guide” he said take it up with your hotel. I told him we didn’t purchase through our hotel. He didn’t care and was rude. The description on here should have stated zip lining only 30mins but then they know most people wouldn’t purchase it!

Hydrate days before. Wear loose comfortable shoes and clothing. Use sunscreen. Listen to
the instructions & instructors. Very safe equipment. I immensely enjoyed myself. I was a bit nervous at first but, after the few trials on short zips there was no turning back!

Our guide Carlos was amazing. Pick up was on time and very easy, he kept us well informed of the plans and things for the day. Zip lining it self was great the staff was so helpful and made the experience so worth it … the pics they took for us turned out amazing a memory I will definitely keep forever.

Ziplining adventure was great. 12 runs to enjoy with two being very long (1/2 mile long). Guides were kind and helpful!
Hotel transfers were a bit long, but I think that's just the way it is.

This was a super fun excursion! My husband and I were picked up from our resort and dropped back off afterward. When we got to the zip line location, we were given gear and some quick information about how to go through the course. It was all very efficient, and everyone was extremely friendly. This was our first time zip lining, and we had a blast!

From beginning to end, the whole experience was amazing! Our transportation was on time, the guide “Sammy Carwash” was not only informative but hilarious at the same time! The young man explaining the safety procedures was very clear and precise (also funny)! The harness equipment was in excellent condition and the guides made sure to secure it properly on everyone! The zip lining was exhilarating! 10/10!

It was a wonderful experience! Our driver was very nice and engaging. Our guides were knowledgeable, kept safety their priority and were with us the entire way. Our kids had a blast, they wished to be older to be able to do the whole course. Great experience over all!

Now for the details:
I was the first pick up (picked up exactly on time) and including all other pick ups it took about 2 hours to reach the zipline location. Once you arrive you will see other tour buses arriving as well. They are all run by the same company. I had a bus exchange in between as the same company operates to the monkey park and the buggy tours. But it is well organised, so nothing to worry.
Once you arrive you should rent a locker for $5 (you get to keep the lock later) unless you have a small waist purse or so. I kept my stuff in the locker for safety. They will then fit you the harness and helmets and ensure it is all good and secure. Safety instructions are clearly stated and demonstrated (pay attention!).
I was a bit apprehensive about the steps before booking as I’m asthmatic and inclines / steps are difficult for me. There is not really a lot of walking involved but stairs for sure. There is a mix of stairs and inclines. There is only one tall block of steps+inclines as shown in the pic. Others are far fewer. You have to climb between 5-15 steps at other platforms. This big block comes at zipline #9. So you could be a bit tired by then. But they won’t rush you so you have enough time to catch your breath. You are not expected to rush upstairs.
Follow instructions properly and you will be safe and able to enjoy this to the maximum. Wear light clothes as it could get really hot.
The tour is well managed and organised. Very impressed. At all zipline platforms they check if you are doing okay. The staff are very passionate and responsible with what they do. You can also get some nice photos of yours and are not too expensive to purchase. As a solo female traveller safety is top priority and I felt safe and would recommend.

The ziplines were great. 12 ziplines and one was a half mile long. Great staff and driver - I was happy to tip them. I was impressed with the safety too. Only problem was the description. When I saw “6 hours” I was thinking we would get to go down the ziplines more times. Actually you’re only on the ziplines 10-15 minutes total for all 12 ziplines then you’re done. 7:35 pickup and didn’t get on the first zipline until about 10:30. If the description was accurate I still would have done this and still recommend it - I just wouldn’t have been so disappointed will all the standing around time.

Ziplining was super fun, friendly staff, great course. Safety is a priority. It rained, but it’s in the forest and just added to the adventure! Transport to/from resort was annoying since they combine tours, you will wait for other tours to finish, like - for us - we waited 90 min.

This was a great trip for my 16-year-old daughter and myself. It is a long drive from the resort because you have to go into the mountains, but the view is beautiful as you can see in the picture. You drive through some very small local towns on the way up and you get a glimpse of how people there live. At one point, we had to slow down because three cows were walking right down the middle of the road and they, obviously, have the right away. Lol
When you arrive, don’t be stressed about the amount of people that are waiting to go on the course as they move you through it without very much waiting at all.
The staff are very professional and very good at their job they make you feel safe the entire course. A special shout out to Reyes. It was very helpful to both me and my daughter.
At the end of the course, they do not solicit you for tips. There’s a big bucket for tips and you just go up there and drop money in it.

Fun zip lines but not outstanding. We had about an 1h15min drive each way. On the way there the driver/guide was very informative but hard to hear in the back. Once we got to the location... We sat ready for at least an hr. There were around 90 plus others from different tour versions going at the same time. They didn't start the instructions until everyone showed up and did their thing /geared up.
The course had 12 ziplines. Very scenic but at least 4 of the my college age kids couldn't go far enough. (1st time ever for this). The lines either need to be tighter or the platforms are not high enough. The workers were great though. There wasn't a ton of walking or stairs. They move you through the lines fast. I guess so you can visit the shop longer.
After, we had to wait for all 90 ppl to complete it.. Get pics and do whatever so we could leave (45 min of waiting). Our whole bus was just sitting waiting... Too much down time. Overall.. A lot wasted time and way to many ppl at once for average zip lines.

The waiting time is not that long, but since it is a shared excursion you must wait until all participants are present to start the instructions and the activity. Our instructors are professionals so they move the clients between the lines at the speed established for the excursion and we have a limit of people to perform the activity and we try that the clients enjoy the tour of the 12 lines in the same way.

Rafael and Angel were great. Angel shared lots of information about the Dominican Republic and its culture on the drive. Rafael was by far the best driver we had during our trip. The ziplines were fun and the staff were all nice
