This was a such an amazing experience. They give great directions and wear shirts that are easy to spot them when you arrive at the ports. You may get super wet and muddy like much more water and mud than you expect which is 100% part of the fun, but when they offer a locker for anything you dont want wet or muddy take them up on the offer! This was so much more exiting than expected. I would bring some extra cash because they have a stop in the middle with great stuff you can buy. If your on the fence just do it.

This was a terrific use of time and money! We loved the coffee and hot chocolate and all the little tidbits we learned about the plants and animals. And the monkey experience was tremendous! Chander was our guide, and he gave us a terrific chance to enjoy the monkeys. They also took wonderful pics for a reasonable price. Highly recommended!

Great way to see Amber Cove

My husband and I arrived in Amber Cove via cruise ship. We wanted the freedom to explore the city on our own. I did a lot of research and came across the option to hire a private driver. I had AI help me make an itinerary and was excited when Jesus was at the port to take us on our adventure. Even though I had used AI to help create an itinerary I still wanted Jesus to take us anywhere he thought we should see or eat. This freedom turned into the highlight of our trip. Jesus took us to a person's private home. The views were spectacular, and the homeowners were very friendly they even had a pet peacock. So cool! Jesus then took us to a wonderful restaurant called Cafe Langos. The food there was delicious. We then went to a beach for a little while, but the weather was uncooperative, so we didn't go into the water. Overall 10/10 highly recommend Jesus as a private driver. The 5 hours flew by and he had us back to the cruise terminal with plenty of time to spare.

Amazing solo trip

This experience was amazing. Thank you to my tour guide Felix, that man was great. For someone that can’t swim he still made the experience for me. Through out the waterfall and the small hike lol he made sure I was safe. The caves, the slides and the drops he made SURE I was comfortable the entire time. My photographer Chris was amazing and got all my shots, he was amazing. Highly recommended checking out the waterfall and booking with them!!

Fantastic experience from...

Fantastic experience from beginning to finish, from waterfalls to zip lining to cliff jumping to real coffee and parrots the experience is one of a kind. Chocolate (tour guide) was great and was very informative and fun! The rest of the team takes great care of you and tries to make you feel as comfortable as possible. Highly recommend for price and quality!

This tour was amazing in large part due to our guide Diomi! He was prompt, informative, friendly, and all around fun to be with! You definitely got a feel of what it’s like to live in the working part of the Dominican. The Rum tour was great and of course tasty! The little shops we went into were also amazing! Diomi made sure we were always within his sights and we felt welcomed! There were 7 people in our group and we all loved it! The pictures Diomi took of us and sent to us were amazing! Definitely a must do tour!!❤️

Challenging and Fun

It is not for the weak! it wasnt rushed but I wouldn't recommend for those with major health problems or blood thinners. Otherwise it was fun! We didn't have to worry about bugs, the scenery was mentally relaxing, the topography physically challenging, the waterfalls refreshing! We took our 6 year old who was a little apprehensive at first but did have a good time! I'd take a bottle of water and comfortable water shoes! They give you one bottle but it was not enough. Travel to and from was fine and return to the ship was in plenty of time.

Perfect day!

It is 35 minute hike to the falls but once you get there, water is wonderful. You should definitely be in shape for this activity! We spent $50 for our own photographer so plan for that because the pics were amazing. Afterwards we had a beautiful local lunch that we loved and were able to purchase some local ice cold beers!

Hits the high points!

Misael, aka Max, was a great tour guide. He arrived at the prearranged pick up point right on time and was friendly, outgoing and had lots of information to share with our group. He had a cooler full of cold water to share. The Van comfortably fit our party of six and was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed seeing the sites of Puerto Plata and the beach where we ended our excursion was lovely.

Amazing experience! DR Prime tours was amazing!!!! Would do again and highly recommend! Long walk to van from port but other than that no complaints. Lunch was good.i guess one other complaint was at plantation the pressure to buy jewelry was ridiculous, gave me anxiety! Couldn’t look in store without guy following me everywhere in the store wanting to sell to me.

Book this! You won’t regret it

This was the best experience ever! The guides were awesome! We got picked up outside cruise port so it was a bit of walk but worth it. They provided lockers for your things. They will get wet and muddy ALL OF IT WILL. Bring water shoes, cash and phones for photos. Leave the rest. Goggles are an extra $5. You make a couple of stops. First one they give you some island education and samples of tea, mamajuna, and fruit from the island. There are shops and drinks for purchase here as well. A bit pricey. But remember this is how they make a living. The second stop is at beach where I ran like crazy to jump in. Water was beautiful. There’s food and drinks for purchase here. The food is fantastic as always. Mofungo, ceviche, fresh fish. I will definitely do this again when I go back!
