Everything was just like I thought it would be. The canopy provides plenty of shade. I was worried about getting sun burned because I'm super white, but I didn't even get a little burnt.
Staff was awesome. Relaxing and enjoyable. Swim time was good but the trip between Sosúa and Puerta Plata was awesome and relaxing
This was so much fun - the snorkelling was amazing and the food was great. The staff was so much fun (especially Benjamin)
The crew was amazing! The entire experience was fantastic! Absolutely recommend, worth every penny!!
Not worth the money. All you can eat buffet was a joke. I would not waste my money on an excursion like this again.
A wonderful day spent on the water. The crew on the boat were so helpful, friendly and made sure we were always safe. Had the best time with my husband.

Great day. Snorkeling at 2 locations. Crew was great.
Start by taking small boat from shore to catamaran. End up at dock in Puerta plata
Too crowded on the boat and also too many people to snorkel. Unable to move in the water with that amount of people without getting kicked.
This by far is the best excursion to go on for a great time lots of food fun drinks and laughter! Starting with pickup our guide was informative and caring and hilarious! The TipTop staff was excellent! Everyone was attentive knowledgeable always walking around talking to people. Food was great and drinks fantastic! Staff was knowledgeable of area for snorkel spots they took us to 2 and had guides feeding fish to attract them so cool! Def lookout i got stung a couple times by some tiny purple translucent jellyfish but didn't hurt too bad. After all that they hoisted the sail and we sailed the ocean for a good almost 2 hours, we were dancing laughing drinking and having the time of our lives! They dropped us off right back at the hotel and we're very attentive! Def worth the money and we we're back on time! Def bring sunglasses SUNSCREEN hay towel and over bathing suit top and water. But def had the best time ever best excursion to date!!
Even though it started to rain while out, the guides were still amazing at making the whole thing super fun! The food was delicious and the guides were fun 😁

I wish that I had taken photos or video of the massive waves or the hail that came down on us but I was too busy throwing up. It was a very terrible day for weather and the excursion should have been canceled and our money returned to us but after rescheduling once, I guess they didn’t want to lose out entirely on the dollars. The crew was skillful and tried hard to keep everyone distracted but the way the catamaran slammed down onto the very high waves was hard to ignore. The lunch was nice but many of us brought it right back up. It was freezing cold and felt quite unsafe to be on the ocean November 10th, 2024. There could have been a tropical storm in the area as the ocean floor had churned up the sand so that visibility was nil. I was 2 feet from the man in the neon orange shirt that was feeding the fish and couldn’t see him or any fish for that matter. The first stop was marginally better, the second stop was a waste of time. It was my brother’s first time doing a snorkeling trip and I was bitterly disappointed for him. 40-50 people crammed into a space that would comfortably seat 20 for 5 hours was not a great day. The waste of money was bad enough but we felt that the decision to take us all onto the ocean when the weather was so terrible was irresponsible.
I have used Viator many times to book excursions everywhere from New York City to Portugal and have always been completely satisfied. Until now.

Sorry to hear that you had a bad experience. Unfortunately we got some unexpected hard down pour, but there was no tropical storm.
The catamaran is 75 feet and can take up to 70 people, but I understand with the rain every one wanted to be under the roof part.
Hopefully you give it another chance with better weather conditions
Even though it poured down all down.... The crew made this trip fabulous. It was extremely fun and the man was delicious. Y'all have totally got it together on this one!!!

Amazing experience. The crew were so friendly and made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable in the water. I appreciate the extra time they took to make sure we were all enjoying ourselves. So worth it. And 10/10 would recommend!
The crew was amazing, but the food was just ok..and the snorkeling was boring kinda. Then alot of people got seasick
A memorable time of my life.
The blue oceans were calling me for a long time and I couldn’t be more happy that I have embarked on this trip. The fear of swimming in the ocean was always on my mind. This experience has helped me overcome another adventurous milestone in my life.
Everything was perfect from nature giving us the the best weather and also an amazing few that didn’t stop us wasting any time or miss out any fun.
The snorkeling to begin with was so phenomenal and I cannot stop thinking about it. One of a kind experience swimming in the ocean with the fish and looking at the reef. If they let me I would have stayed few more hours but the party has to keep going. After the snorkeling the food was delicious and then the partying began as we sailed from our beach as they dropped as back at the hotel. Which definitely was a great surprise as it would have been tiring to get back on the shuttle for another hr.
This was my vert first time snorkeling and I had a great time, they made sure I was safe and did not feel excluded. Also the food and drinks were so good! If I return, I'd book again.
My only thing is the amount of people on the boat was a bit much.
The crew was everything. Thank you for the dancing, laughs and all the support in the water. We would do it all over again!
The experience was amazing. We got picked up on the time and they drove his to Sosua port. We went on catamaran with no hustle. It is big and nice. We went to the two diving locations and it was wonderful. It is very safe and it was always safety guards around. The lunch was amazing and Michael Jackson’s performance is awesome. Recommend for everyone once in Puerto Plata. Small suggestion- buy a photo and video package especially if you are diving.
The Catamaran was such a great experience. From the ride to the beach to the snorkeling and the sailing. Papo was such a great host along with the rest of the members of the crew. They were very detailed for instructions for beginners and also made sure that there were safety precautions taken at all times. The boat its self was very clean and spacious for our group. The fish were beautiful and we can feed them as well. We were able to eat and enjoy an open bar once the snorkeling was done. We danced to great music and enjoyed the scenic ride back to the coast. I will 100% do this excursion again.
The staff and other passengers were friendly. The staff made it fun with dancing and music. The snorkeling was fun and staff made sure we were safe. I am a vegetarian and would of liked to see better options for the food.

My family of 4 had a great time aboard the Tip Top Catamaran. The atmosphere, excitement, food, drinks, and crew were all excellent. The crew was so attentive and eager to help everyone with movement around the boat.
This excursion was lovely. The pick up was in time, the boat was ready for us. Alain and his crew were super friendly, organized and attentive. They took care of us and made sure we had a great time. Alain speaks English, French and Spanish. I was sceptical before booking but it turned out to be a wonderful experience.
The boat crew was great. The sailing was fun and food good.
The snorkeling not so good, reef pretty dead. Fish around when getting fed bread.

Entertainment. Prefer catamaran in Cuba. As an older couple it was hard to get in boat. Prefer in a Marina with proper access to Catamaran.
