A cardio workout with a waterfall result :)
The hike up to the waterfalls was a little tough, but the end result was totally worth it! A lot of steps, they provide you with water, and let you take a break if you need to. At each waterfall you get to jump, slide, or take a ladder. It was beautiful and so fun!

Great Experience - Bring Cash!
Great experience! The team was attentive to our needs and helped when one of the buggies got stuck. When they say keep the speed up in the water holes, they mean keep your speed up. Great stops for the community and shops. Great stop at the beach. The goggles do cost extra - $5 per pair. You will need them. We brought our own masks for nose/mouth. We wore water shoes so we did not ruin good shoes or have to carry wet shoes back to the cruise ship. Bring cash for masks, souvenirs and for the picture package. Cost of picture package was worth it, but we had to pay via a card and the price was 18% more to use a credit card. GREAT TIME! Guides were fun and would 100% join them again!

This was one of our...
This was one of our favorite excursions! We had such a great time and everyone in our group had a blast. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and answered all of our questions. Everything was well organized, and the dune buggy ride was a lot of fun. We would definitely recommend this excursion.

Zip Line/Waterfall Excursion-worth every penny!
Driver William was fantastic and gave us great instructions from start to finish. Once at the Zip line/waterfall destination he handed us off to the tour guides seamlessly and we were on our way for an incredible experience. The tour ran longer than the stated 3-4 hours but we got back to the ship with plenty of time to spare. Had a great included lunch and a stop at a local goods store for chocolate, jewelry, Mamajuana and cigars. Viator has always been our go to when we travel and will continue to use them always. Saved about 40% from the ship tour cost!!

As the Dominican Republic’s oldest city, you might think Puerto Plata excursions all revolve around history—but that couldn’t be further from the truth. While plenty of options delve into the past at the 16th-century fortress, many showcase the lush natural landscapes of the island. Tackle rugged terrain on an ATV adventure, go horseback riding on trails leading to waterfalls, feel your adrenaline levels soar during ziplines, and then cool off during snorkeling trips and sunset catamaran cruises.
