Wonderful Way to Spend a Day!
This was the highlight of our trip to the Amalfi coast. Emily and her family were so welcoming and made the experience truly enjoyable. First, Emily helped to arrange transportation from Positano to the class site. The class was very well organized and there was little downtime. She used the freshest ingredients, many from her own garden. Emily explained each recipe, the history of her family and how they use the recipes, and then clearly demonstrated each step. There was a lot of hands-on participation and it felt like a party, even though we were with other people we hadn’t met before. We were given the recipes at the end and several pictures that the host had taken during the class. We ended the class by having a large feast with all of the food we had made. It was a wonderful way to spend the day and I highly recommend this tour.

Best money you can spend!
If you only have 1 day in Positano- spend it with Emily and her family. You are immediately part of their crew- teaching you all of their family recipes and telling heartfelt stories along the way. We left with full bellies and hearts. I can’t recommend this experience enough!

A heartwarming , fun, informative and delicious cooking experience.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time spent with Emily, Gennaro and their Mum. Welcomed into their lovely home and treated like family. Emily shared her family and grandmother’s amazing history with us whilst providing lots of tips on how to create the perfect pasta. This resulted in a delicious lunch paired with wonderful wine and homemade limoncello. We also made tiramisu which is something I wouldn’t normally choose however this version was fabulous. Will be using the recipes provided to cook for family when we return home. Also the view from the family villa is magnificent. This is by far the best experience we’ve had on our holiday❤️.

The cooking class with...
The cooking class with Rocco and Carla at their home in Praiano was an amazing experience. It was a small group - just 4 of us so very personal and hands on. The food was delicious! We learned to make different types of pasta, ricotta gnocchi and tiramisu. They also served us some homemade bread and wine. The food was all farm to table with most of it grown on their own property. I highly recommend this experience.

Positano, a jewel of the Amalfi Coast, is a perfect place to try your hand at making classic Italian meals. The Campania region, where the city is located, is famous especially for seafood. Naples, with its iconic Neapolitan style of pizza, is not that far away either. With Positano cooking classes, try crafting a rum-soaked tiramisu, pizza dough from scratch, or a seafood pasta, all under the watchful eye of a local nonna (grandmother) and with a glass of wine in your hand.
