Incredible Experience

We took Emily’s family-style cooking class in Positano and it was one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we arrived, the family welcomed us like we were old friends — warm, generous, and so genuinely happy to share their traditions with us. We made pasta and dessert completely from scratch, and both turned out incredible — some of the best food we had in Italy. The whole atmosphere felt like being invited into someone's home for a big family meal rather than a typical tourist activity. If you're visiting Positano, don't miss this experience — it's authentic, delicious, and full of heart.

This was a good class, our instructor Gio was highly educated on Italian, English and American history which related to the food we were cooking! I loved every bit of the food and my friends had fun as well. We were able to meet new people and enjoy wine as well! It’s. Family owned business so it felt great learning from the locals as well. We had a wonderful...

We had a wonderful afternoon taking this cooking class with Ferdinando. First, we have to note how accommodating Ferdinando was. Our flight had been cancelled and we were unable to make it on the day our class was originally scheduled. Ferdinando immediately offered for us to attend the class on the next day. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed with wine and water. We then learned how to make mozzarella, tagliatelle, and tiramisu, before feasting on all this delicious food we’d personally prepared. It was an amazing experience.

We got lost on our journey there and unfortunately showed up late and sweaty (our fault entirely as we took the wrong bus- the class was easy to find). Valentino was kind enough to have made our pasta dough and still allowed us to join the class despite our being 30 minutes late. The pasta was fantastic, the wine was delicious, and the class was so fun! Valentino even called a cab for us to get us back home at the end. What a wonderful experience. If you’re thinking about it, just book it!

CAN'T MISS EXPERIENCE: An authentic evening to celebrate culture, connection, and delicious local food

This is an amazing, must-do experience. Truly life-changing. You spend the evening with a wonderful family and get to really understand the history of the Amalfi Coast in terms of fresh ingredients, local purveyors, and ways of life. The evening is done in honor of the family's grandmother's cooking, and is incredibly moving. We became very close with the other people around the table who we never met before - it is truly just an authentic joy that brings people together around delicious food. The cooking aspect is not intensive but is light-hearted and fun; I could not recommend this experience more, it is not just an activity - it is a true celebration of authentic culture and an unforgettable experience. You could book another activity instead... or you could have an unforgettable, irreplicable experience - I must stress that you should choose this experience :)
