Adventures with Manolo

Excellent day! Manolo was a great guide. He is very knowledgeable about the area. We had a nice and easy walk in the jungle where we spotted a couple of sloths, some bees, birds, etc. The walk is on a gravel road. During the boat ride we got close to a large container ship and then visited a few islands to see some wildlife. We were lucky enough to see many monkeys, iguanas, birds, etc. We were provided with a bag of local snacks and plenty of bottled water. Such a great day!

My dream has always been to see the Panama Canal.. this tour didnt disappoint. The driver was extremely knowledgable of its history and inner workings. We loved going to the marina to take pictures. The driver supplied panama flags and banners. Nice touch. This toir ended with a walking tour of Casco Viejo. We learned aboit the Spanish conquering of the indigenous settlement, the pirates that pillage and the current history. We recommend this tour. About 5 hours of good time spent.

Amazing rich experience! 6 stars!

Being a solo traveller, I booked this tour before coming to Panama but was not sure what to expect. In the end it was well above my expectations. The team contacted me on WhatsApp the night before to confirm all the logistics and got picked up on the day at 7:20 right on time by Enrique (driver) and Jorge (the guide). Jumped in the van and went straight to the administration building of Panama Canal. Jorge was giving me lots of Panamean history (he is super knowledgeable). Then we went to the can visitor centre. Arrived early to beat the queue and we're lucky enough to see a boat passing the lock. Then saw the 8:45 Imax movie about the canal construction (amazing) and then we went to a very relaxing area of Panama city with a noce Marina, amazing views of the city and the famous Panama sign. Finally ended up with a walk in the old town and finished by 12:00. It was smooth, nice, well organized and I got so much from Jorge. It really felt like a valuable things to do for a half day in the city. Highly recommend. Super high value. Huge thanks to Enrique and Jorge for the great experience!

A Legitimate Adventure

Absolutely legitimate cultural experience! Orlando was an exceptional guide and made sure we had a great day from start to finish. Comico was incredibly talented - every time we turned around he was doing something amazing - he brought us up river safely on the canoe having to get out and drag us through low spots, guided us on the slippery, muddy path to the waterfall, played the flute, gave tattoos and even gave us a tour of his village. Overall, we had a really worthwhile experience and we would highly recommend this tour to anyone who is looking for a bit of adventure and a beautiful cultural event.

Excellent overall tour!

Great overall experience: the pickup van showed up on time and at the stated location, the tour guide was full of energy and information, the boat driver did an excellent job, we saw all three monkeys and we could not have had a better time. If there is any room for improvement, I would say that the driver from our hotel to the boat could have driven for comfort instead of for speed. We were thrust about in the van at times. Otherwise, the experience was excellent.

San Blas: Worth the 4 A.M. Wake-Up Call!

San Blas was the highlight of our trip to Panama! From the early 5:00 a.m. pickup in Panama City to the breathtaking drive through the mountains and lush jungle, the adventure began the moment we left the city. My wife and I had an amazing time exploring all four islands, with the Natural Pool being our favorite stop. The delicious hot lunch and refreshing Balboa beer made the experience even better. One of the most memorable parts of the tour was learning about the indigenous Guna people and gaining insight into their rich culture and traditions. If you're planning a trip to Panama, a visit to San Blas is an absolute must. Viator made the entire process smooth and stress-free. My wife and I had a great time. The experience allowed us to explore a different side of Panama City and connect with new people. The clubs were nice, but we were surprised by the music selection. We expected to hear more local music, yet much of what was played was hip-hop and rap from Atlanta and New York. Still, we enjoyed visiting five different spots and had a wonderful experience overall.
