My solo tour of Colon was awesome! My guide Riggo was fantastic and really provided great knowledge on the are and it’s history. Being from there himself made his passion for Colon really shine through tour. He was also just an extremely friendly person. I highly recommend this tour to anyone solo or group looking to see and learn about Colon and take an excursion outside of Panama City. A definite 10/10 experience!!!

Family trip /Monkey and Sloth Tour with Danny and Jessie.
From the moment we were picked at the Hilton hotel downtown Panama City and greeted by the tour guide Jessie and others we felt right at home. It was fun riding along through the town area and picking up other persons for the tour. When we got to the town for the monkey tour it was pouring rain so all 21 of us were given Panchos. Here the bus stopped at Restaurante Encanto for us to use the rest room. This restaurant was attached to a convenience store. From here we went to catch the boat to see the tamarind monkeys on the Gatun Lake , which was the highlight of the day. Afterwards the bus stopped at the restaurant again for us to use the rest room. Here we were given free snacks in a paper bag which included empanadas and plaintain cakes. These were the best empanadas I had since entering Panama. They were so good that we purchased some more. From here we went to a hiking trail to find sloths. We didn't see any (just two monkeys) so we left. However, on the way home, our driver Danny stopped the bus and he and Jessie walked the highway with binoculars to find a sloth for us. Guess what? They did! All of us got off the bus and saw one, way up in the tree, beside the road. Jessie allowed us to look through his telescope to get a closer look. He even took photos for us with our cell phones through the telescope. These two men went above and beyond to make sure that we enjoyed ourselves. Despite the rain I give this tour a 10/10.

Cesar and our native...
Cesar and our native guide were absolutely AMAZING! The drive to the national park was quick and comfortable, and they made sure to communicate everything we’d need for the trip in advance. I was thrilled that life jackets were provided even though the water wasn’t deep this time of year, in most places. While the distance trekking to the waterfall wasn’t an issue, the path was often VERY slippery and as an older woman, climbing up and down some of the rock falls was quite difficult. They always made sure I had assistance where and when needed. The fruit and fish for lunch were incredible - just delicious, and the trip to one of the Embera villages was enlightening and so much fun. I would do this again and again.
