What are people saying about Panama City

The Monkey and Sloth...
The Monkey and Sloth Habitat Tour was highly professional, well-rounded, and well worth the time and cost. Communication before and during the trip was efficient, and transportation was comfortable and prompt. Emilio, our tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant. Danny, our driver, was also well informed, and even pulled over so we could see and photograph a sloth. During the boat ride we encountered three types of monkeys, and saw a crocodile, iguana, and various bird species. The snack following was delicious and filling. The jungle hike was just long enough to see a variety of wildlife and have a “Tarzan swinging from a vine” photo op. Fresh pineapple on the bus afterwards was a wonderful surprise and very refreshing. The Monkey and Sloth Habitat Tour is highly recommended!

The Embera Experience
The visit to Embera Village and the waterfalls was an excellent choice. The lunch provided was delicious with the fruit being outstanding on its own. On most excursions, the travel guide is pleasant at best. But our travel guide Dan, was absolutely the best. He was equal to the actual excursion itself, with a great sense of humor and a vast knowledge of Panamanian history and culture. When an insider like Dan is able to share his perspective with anyone, you can't help but gain a deeper insight of his passion and empathy towards Panama and the Embera people, giving a greater understanding and respect of what has transpired and what is to come. Increasing a deeper connection and unbreakable bond truly shows kindness and purpose to educate others to benefit their wellbeing – to this, that presents as having a heart of gold. Nicely done Dan, very impressed and would recommend time and time again

Highlight
Enjoyed this tour. The crew were very accommodating and took steps to ensure we got to take the tour in the first place due to road closures that impacted the ground transit. The Pacific Queen was roomy enough for everyone to be comfortable. Lunch was yummy!

Highly recommended
A private trip with a guide like Ruben is the best way to see the canal. I really enjoyed the afternoon. Great communications from Cesar. Ruben was on time, a really good and knowledgable guide and because of him I have some amazing videos of the monkeys. We also got to see the sloth which was a real highlight.

The Panama Canal may be the most well-known attraction in Panama, but there are dozens of Panama City day trips that showcase more of the country’s culture, history, and natural landscape. The dreamy San Blas Islands, the dormant El Valle volcano, and the Chagres National Park take you deep into Panama’s lush landscape, while closer wildlife tours to Lake Gatun and San Lorenzo National Park get you within an arm’s reach of sloths and monkeys. Maximize your time by taking Panama City day trips that stay in the city, joining walking tours or pub crawls around historic Old Town Casco Viejo.
