Kalawahine Trail is 1.5 miles at about 1000 feet and is quiet and has nice views. The permit only allows hikes Monday to Friday. Please let us know which trail you want so that we can purchase the permit. A guide will show you the birds, flowers, trees, fruit, and plants, and explain the history and culture of the area. Both of these trails are an easy walking path. Kalawahine Trail starts at about 1000 feet, but the trail is mostly flat and easy. Manoa Falls is in a valley famous for its rainfall.
