Wow. What a day! We were...
Wow. What a day! We were lucky enough to hear taps played at the US cemetery. Paul was a great guide with many illustrations and pictures to help explain the battles. Having read the book and seen the movie, it was good to see the locations of some of the scenes.

Excellent tour, long day
Meeting place was hectic trying to decide which tour was ours. When guide arrived he had names on a board which made it clear. Theo, our tour guide was fabulous! He was super knowledgeable and shared so much history with us! Tour bus was a bit small as 8 people were were

If you are Canadian this...
If you are Canadian this gives some reality to what the men experienced and the hardships the french and other countries had to endiure at the hands of the Germans. The amount of infrastructure put in place by the Germans was unbelievable as was the scale of the Juno beach assault. Highly recommend Stephane to interpret the events and bring them to life.

Val was our tour guide...
Val was our tour guide and he was amazing! He was so knowledgeable and answered any questions we had about the entire region of Normandy. His education stood out way beyond his age! He was a really good driver. We would highly recommend him and we look forward to seeing him again one day!

This day was an amazing...
This day was an amazing experience, it was so well organized and our guide Mathieu was extremely knowledgeable and kept us interested all day. He was personable and shared so much, answered questions, provided stories about events as well as facts . He was willing to expand on areas our group had the most interest in. He joined us at our table for lunch and that was wonderful, most guides have not in my experience but we found it to be a great personal touch.
Our day of exploration of the D day events , beaches and the visit and impact of the American Cemetery was even more than we expected it could be.

British Normandy Beaches Tour
We were collected at Bayeux train station by Emanuel and were lucky enough to be the only people on the tour. As we were talking about history in the minibus, Emanuel made an extra stop and showed us where William the Conquerer was buried. We then continued to the Pegasus bridge and museum and it was completely up to us how long we stayed there.
We visited the war burial sites and the landing beach. Emanuel had photos to show us and lots of knowledge and we all had an enjoyable afternoon. We also asked to be dropped back into the centre of Bayeux so we could have a look around, which he was happy to do - great service and excellent English

Mont Saint Michel tour with Kate was great
Our guide Kate was great. She shared her vast knowledge of history in such a wonderful way. She included so much details in such a energetic way that it made the tour not only educational, but entertaining as well. Kate was very attentive to all the members of the tour, ensuring that everyone was comfortable. The tour was very organized and professionally done. I would highly recommend.

Best tour ever!
This absolutely bar none the best tour I have ever had. Mike our guide was knowledgeable insightful and thorough! What a joy to be with some so engaged in his work. Not just a look at history but to actually experience the action through individual stories and photos. A++ effort and a day well spent.

Paris Bus Tour
Well organized bus trip, but a very long bus ride. Not much time in Paris, but at least get to see a bit of the city and the major tourist attractions. The tour guide joins the bus tour in Paris and leaves just prior to the ride back. He was extremely knowledgeable and interesting. The river tour was probably the best part as he also kept the group together on the boat and narrated and answered questions.

DDay tour with Pascal-Highly recommend
Excellent tour! Our guide, Pascal was very knowledgeable, so interesting. We not only visited all the D-Day sites, but we were able to understand so much more from Pascal. The tour was amazing, moving, and the all day tour was the perfect length. Also, I had the best almond eclair at our lunch stop at a boulangerie.

Most amazing and informative tour! It was incredibly fun traveling in a jeep that had been used in WWII! We got to see hedge rows up close! Our guide Adrian was so knowledgeable about all aspects of the Normandy invasion! I highly recommend this trip!

My husband and I had a great experience with this day long Normandy Beaches . The meet up with our tour guide was easy. Naomi was friendly and full of information. She gave full , interesting information to paint the picture of the planning and execution of D-Day.
The lunch/museum stop could have been longer - it was hard to see both the museum and have a meal as well.
We enjoyed the day- it is a lot of information to take in but well worth the time. Thank you for a great tour Naomi.

Not seeing something you are looking for?
World War II history, UNESCO-listed monuments, Belle Epoque beach resorts, and medieval cities: Normandy has it all, and you’ll only scratch the surface of what this region offers on Normandy day trips. With just one day, focus your explorations on a particular area or sight, whether visiting France’s most famous island monastery, following the path of Allied soldiers at the D-Day beaches, or hopping between the picturesque coastal towns of the North. Normandy is close enough to Paris to be a day-trip destination, but you’ll be able to see even more if you start from Bayeux or Le Havre.
