Unbelievable Third Reich walking tour with Josh
This was likely the best tour experience we've ever had. Josh was unbelievably organized and interesting. He is a performer. We liked that he was on time, ready to go, requested tickets, set out the guidelines (no phones while he was talking - so refreshing and needed!), and simply displayed a passion for every single part of the tour. He had pictures and audio and heartfelt stories that stirred the soul. He had everyone's attention for almost 3 hrs and he earns every bit of whatever he is paid. If you get a chance to have this guy, make sure to book this tour and tip him well. Thanks Josh, for an amazing time, a highlight of our time in Munich. We learned so much about this sad part of Munich's history and felt like we were walking through history with him. We will always remember your passion for and commitment to delivering your tour - thank you.

Family Beer tour
Sam was an incredible guide. Ability to give personalized attention in a group of 20. Beer was fantastic and he gave great recommendations for additional things to do in Munich.
On our tour we had beer enthusiasts and those who do not consume. All loved it!

Outstanding tour!
A sobering tour but one that was very memorable for all of us. James, our tour guide, was incredible. He was extremely knowledgeable of German history. He was passionate and thoughtful when sharing the horrors that occurred. His knowledge of events, dates , and timelines made our tour easier to understand the history. We all learned so much about the horrible things that happened and what society should never forget.

Oz = awesome.
Oz (which I don‘t know if the spelling is correct or not. Or, it should be Aus?) is our tour guide and he is one of the best guides I have ever followed for city tours. He speaks English fluently, very knowledgable, eager to share and made the whole visit so fun and enjoyable. The market visit and the sauage and beer during the tour added extra colour to the tour.

Jessie -Best Guide EVER!!
We had Jessie as our tour guide and WOW! The best most friendly, knowledgeable guide we have we had in any country, and we have been all over Europe.
She made friends with every person on our tour!
Detailed and conscientious of everyone’s speed, language barriers etc.
Jessie answered every question to the point and without rhetoric or fairy tale stories!
When we booked the excursion we thought “maybe six hours is too long?”
Jessie made it seem like the day breezed by.
On the way back to Munich the train stopped and there was an announcement about the delay. Jessie came right over and explained in English what was going on PHEW!
You are lucky to have Jessie!
Thank you Jessie for a wonderful day!!

Food! tour must do
We had a great time in this food tour. You get a lot of history about the city, combined with some great food. Tetiana was our guide and did a fabulous job. It’s a great way to learn a city, as you combine walking tour while also learning about local dishes.

Great walking tour
We really enjoyed our walking tour. Our guide, Bernie, was so nice and full of great information. He kept it interesting and we learned a lot about the history of each of the stops we made. We saw a lot and our whole family of five had a lot of fun - even though it was really cold day. Definitely recommend!

Fun Tour!
My mother and I attended this tour together a few days ago. Julia was our guide, and she was fantastic! She was incredibly knowledgeable and also very witty. It was a great blend of history and folklore. The spirits were also fun activities, and helped you get through the cold! So much fun, would definitely recommend.

Munich Walking Tour / 2 hr
Our walking tour experience was great. We had Adrian as our tour guide and he gave us so much great info. The check in was easy and all the people in the office where we started were very nice. We finished the tour then went to lunch with some of the other travelers on the tour. It was a great day!!!!

Excellent but emotional tour of Dachau Memorial Site
Our guide, Jamie, was very knowledgeable and thorough. He talked us through the transportation from Karlsplatz in Munich to the Dachau Memorial Site, making sure the group stayed together. At the Memorial, he explained the history of the Dachau camp from its beginning in 1933, to its liberation in 1945. Any questions the group had were answered in detail. As the first of the concentration camps to go into operation before WWII, it started as a camp for political rivals of the Nazi party, but became more of a prison camp for Jews as the war progressed. Knowing that tens of thousands of people died within those walls and fences brought the realities of the war into perspective. At the end of the tour, Jamie gave us time to explore the site on our own, read the signs, shop in the visitor center bookstore, and generally reflect on the whole experience. We were then guided back to the transportation to return to Munich. Overall this was an excellent tour, but I must warn that it was a very emotional experience, and for some it could be overwhelming. I saw a number of people weeping while inside the Memorial, so use discretion when deciding whether or not to take the tour. If you decide to go, it is an experience you will never forget. Thanks to Jamie for sharing your wealth of knowledge.

Fun and informative bike tour
My husband and I did the bike tour with Dave on our first day in Munich. It was a perfect introduction to the city and Dave was super friendly, funny and informative with all of the information he shared. Highly recommend doing this bike tour even in 30 degree weather.

This was an absolutely...
This was an absolutely amazing experience! Our guide, Helio, was fantastic. Not only did he ensure everyone’s safety by clearly communicating stops and directions, he was also knowledgeable about the history and had lots of good recommendations for things to do in the city. He was funny and personable. The tour itself was also really cool. We got to experience the highlights and get to know the city in a new way.

Despite Munich’s efficient public transport system, its Old Town and shopping areas are compact and ideally explored on foot. If you’re not familiar with the city, Munich walking tours offer the perfect solution. While some tours delve into World War II sites associated with the Third Reich, others cover Old Town highlights, ghost-themed adventures, culinary explorations, and customizable private experiences. Whether you’re drawn to history, culture, or gastronomy, discovering the city on foot can be tailored to every preference.
