What a brilliant tour of Teotihuacan. We had our tour guide Frank to ourselves. He was very friendly and very, very knowledgeable. I thought I knew a bit, but what I knew pailed into insignificance against his knowledge about the site. Frank not only knew his stuff but was very approachable and helpful. Unforgettable Teotihuacan Private Tour with Eduardo and Gerardo

This private tour was the highlight of our trip! From the start, our driver Eduardo made the journey smooth, safe, and fun with his friendly and engaging personality. Our guide Gerardo was equally fantastic, knowledgeable, energetic, and passionate about history and culture. He truly brought Teotihuacan to life as we walked the pyramids and ruins, giving us a deeper connection to this incredible part of history. The experience did not stop there. We had an amazing lunch at La Gruta Teotihuacan, dining inside a magical cave while enjoying some of the best Mexican cuisine we have ever had. To top it off, we visited Artesanías Finas El Sol, where we learned about ancient painting tools, sampled tequila, and browsed a wide selection of beautiful souvenirs. We highly recommend this tour and especially Eduardo and Gerardo. They made the entire day unforgettable. If you are visiting Mexico City, make sure this experience is on your itinerary!

Dig deep into archaeological history

Our guide, Ernesto, had a background in archaeology. He also loved to share what he knew and loved. That’s a great combination for a tour guide. When he saw how interested we were, he dug deep (pun intended) to inform us about Teotihuacan. At the end he mentioned that we could buy souvenirs at a workshop if we wished. But he wasn’t pushy about it at all; entirely our choice. And that was a fine and meaningful addition. Thanks!

Extremely enjoyable private tour

excellent private tour of the pyramids. Our tour guide, Pepe was too terrific. Very friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. I’m usually not one for a lot of history, however, his explanations and information of the pyramids was perfect. We also went for an excellent lunch which he recommended. When we got back to Mexico City, he gave us some recommendations for dinners and an excellent chocolate shop. We stopped by the Chocolate shop the following morning and it was excellent.

Incredible Tour with an Excellent Guide!

Our family of four had an amazing tour of Teotihuacan with Pepe. Pepe was an excellent guide who is extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic, personable, friendly, fun and speaks excellent English. Pepe led us on a tour, not only the Sun and Moon pyramids, but also took us to the Quetzalcoatl pyramid and the extensive residential palaces and houses. To walk into the residential palaces with no one there and see the structures which includes some wall painting, water and drainage infrastructure, and even a shower was amazing! We spent almost 5 hours at the Teotihuacan site with Pepe. After the tour, Pepe took us to a nearby wonderful local resident restaurant with a nice garden and view the pyramid. All four of us would highly recommend this tour with Pepe!

Ernesto was a terrific tour guide for our Teotihuacan tour. He was so knowledgeable and presented the information to us in a manner that was easy to digest and understand. He kept the tour interesting and light and funny. He and the driver Rodolfo was on time to pick up our group from our AirBnb. The van was comfortable and the drive was relaxing. It was nice to check out a little bit more of Mexico City during the van ride. The tour company was communicative and helpful with booking a restaurant for our lunch. Overall, our group had a great time and would book again.

Great tour of the pyramids with a toddler!

We had a wonderful tour of the pyramids with Mariana. She picked up my family with our two year old girl, and treated us with much warmth and kindness throughout the day. The pyramids and the site around them was very interesting to learn about, and my daughter loves chasing butterflies and eating popsicles. An extra bonus was an optional stop at a fantastic restaurant in CDMX on the way home that she reccomended. It was a great and very memorable day.

Pepe is a wonderful guide. He had so much knowledge and shared it in a way that really brought the area to life. His love of the history really comes across. We chatted and learned from him during the drive so it went very quickly. I would highly recommend this tour for all ages. He also helped us navigate the menu at lunch so we tried something new (Huitlacoche) that we wouldn't have otherwise selected. It was delicious and we liked that it was a plant-based option.
