Sebastian was the best guide. He helped our family of 6 with 1 teen with autism navigate the river and rocks like a professional. We had the best day because of Sebastian's professionalism and guidance.
This was my favourite experience in Medellin. The route was the perfect level of challenge and the tour guide Sebastian was kind and knowledgeable about the wildlife. The waterfalls were beautiful and refreshing and the views were incredible. I would recommend wearing long sleeves and longer trousers if you are sensitive to insect bites.
Sebastian and carlos are amazing. Hiking in Embigado- inside a national park- 30 min away from medellin- so close and yet felt remote. Perfect hiking level that most can do. Water is refreshing and sebastian and carlos welcome you with fresh fruit and hot coffee. Great way to explore nature close to the city.
Exactly what I wanted - a good hike to a beautiful waterfall with a great guide and amazing group. Highly recommend! Short drive so most of the time was on the trail or at the waterfall.
Very beautiful waterfall and location! Very well organized and even gave us time reach meeting point. They gave us snacks we didn’t expect and well very well attentive since the hike was a little hard for us. Thank you to Sebastian and other guide
Alex was an awesome guide very knowledgeable helpful and just all around was a good time they even gave us these little guava candies
Wear good shoes/boots tgat will get soaking wet as you walk in a rocky stream bed. Best to wear swimsuit as not much privacy to change at the waterfall, tho I managed. Waterfall will give you a great back massage
The company was very timely and informative of the land, city, and trail. Guri and Alejandro we're very pleasant and respectful. The trail up to the waterfall did not feel rushed . The snacks were light and refreshing. Lastly, the food menu items were delicious and authentic.
I can't express enough the quality of customer service that these guys provide. They give you so much information about anything and everything that you would like to do in the city and they provide just such great service. Highly recommend
Great hiking experience! Sebastian and Gurry were so kind and knowledgeable about wildlife. would book again x100
Amazing experience and the tour guides were great. They had everything set up to make the hike comfortable
Our 2 guides, Goody and Alajandro were the best guides I have ever had. Lots of nature information, and their guidence and physical help on the trail was awesone. I am 70 yrs old and had a great hike with these guides
Amaaaazing experience! Sebastian and Gurri were so kind and knowledgeable. The timing was impeccable and snacks were provided which was a nice plus. The hike was beautiful and I was able to ask all my annoying questions about random plants and animals I saw with full support! Would definitely recommend to all level hikers so long as you can walk for long periods of time and on different levels of elevation. Of course there are lots of rocks, so that’s something to consider with mobility too.
This was one of the best tours here in Medellin. Sebas and Adrian were so helpful, informative, and attentive. Adrian even helped us with the miradores tour and we were able to enjoy this experience thanks to him. I am forever grateful for that.
This is a great way to get outside the city of Medellin and enjoy the beautiful surrounding nature. They pick you up in El Poblado and the drive to the start is about 30 mins with great views along the way. We were driven in a car but others were taken in a bus. Our group was about 20 people. The walk to the waterfall is about and hour each way and it does include some steep/rocky and sometimes slippery terrain. It’s pretty wet and sometimes muddy but you can (and should) rent boots at the start. Also recommend ordering lunch which will be waiting for you when you get back.
What an unforgettable hiking and waterfall experience! The views were absolutely breathtaking from start to finish. The hike had just the right amount of challenge to keep it fun and exciting, making the waterfalls at the end even more rewarding.
Alejandro was an incredible guide — knowledgeable, energetic, and made the entire adventure enjoyable while keeping everyone motivated and safe. If you’re looking for amazing scenery, a little adventure, and an authentic outdoor experience, this is a must-do! *Bring shoes that you don’t mind getting wet.
Amazing hike crisscrossing the river numerous times. Challenging enough train to make it fun but but not at all too difficult. Lots of cool information from the guides as well about the flora along the way and the animals that live in the area. When I return to Medellin someday I may even do it again it was so good! The guides were super helpful making sure everybody got up more difficult climbs, and sent out good pre-trip info.
This was an epic waterfall hike! very well organized and informative!
our guides took us through beautiful passages, crossing streams and climbing rocks to end up at gorgeous waterfall!
This was a highlight of the trip !
strongly recommend to do it!
Some of the best exercise you’ll do in your life. The waters are the perfect temperature to be refreshing after the hike.
The hike was worth it nothing hard with the help of the great men. It was spectacular loved every minute of it. Can’t wait to return
it was excellent, the right amount of information and interesting nature, coupled with activity level and the water is so refreshing at the end
Great experience! Our tour guide Adrian also know as Guri, explain everything that we saw from the moment he picked us up and when we were at the mountains. Information super helpful and interesting like all the Flora and Fauna found on the forest and during the hiking trail. He is very cautios and was always looking out for us and explain how to hike and do all the things before getting to the waterfall. The waterfall was the best part lf the trip, this is a must due if you come to Colombia. I would thank Guri for all the help and for all the love he puts in to what he does. Very recomended tour.
We had an absolutely amazing time on our hidden waterfalls hiking tour in Medellín! Our guide, Alejandro, was incredible—so knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful throughout the entire trip. It was a perfectly family-friendly adventure that we all enjoyed. Eating fresh mango and fruit while swimming under the waterfall was an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend Alejandro and this tour to anyone visiting!
This is my second trip to Medellin and I visited many places. By far this is the best I done. Joanna, Alejandro and the rest of the crew were amazing. The hike was beautiful from the beginning to the end. Good facts are the time, the length of the activity and the driving distance from the meeting point to the hiking point.
Got to say you have to be in a very good physical condition to enjoy it.
150 stars !!!
This Adventure was one of my favorite things to do in Medellín. All three guides were excellent, very friendly and Hilarious. You can tell they are very passionate at what they do. They are very familiar with the terrain the flora and fauna. They assisted everyone at the tricky parts, I felt very safe and they were all very welcoming. The nature is absolutely stunning and we all loved the waterfall at the end! They also offered snacks and beverages. This was my first tour in Medellín and I felt right at home. I would participate with them again if I was ever back in Medellín. Thank you for creating an awesome experience and many many memories!
Awesome tour, would definitely recommend. The guides were knowledgeable with some history on the trail and info for the nature. The trail was beautiful
Sebastian was the perfect guide. If I could give him 10 stars out of 5 I would. Insightful, helpful and really empathetic to my specific needs.
Awesome tour. Very fun and educational. Sebastian did a great job. Getting in the waterfall was one of my favorite parts of visiting Colombia. Highly recommend!
Well organized half day day activity while in Medellin. Would go in wet or dry weather.
The team met us at a convenient location in El Poblado, took us in clean/safe vehicles to a welcoming family near the trail head, afforded reasonably priced water boots (recommended), and made frequent informative stops on the trail to explain flora and fauna!
We enjoyed the 30 minutes at the falls with a short swim. It was cold, but worth it!! Right amount of snacks (fruit, tea, coffee) to keep us going. I forgot to time the hike, but estimate 1.5 hours of walking.
For anyone with questions of difficulty, I would not recommend an unfit person, young children under 7, dogs, or anyone with joint issues. There are numerous creek crossings, slippery and unstable rocks, and some mud.
The crew was very focused on safety (prickly things, fauna related to poison ivy issues, fallen trees, and ability of all guests to keep up.)
I am a “nature nut” and would have enjoyed a few more opportunities to stand quietly!
Recommend renting the boots, being well hydrated, take pics, wear clothes to get in the pool area by falls, and consider bug spray (OMG… 4 days later and the itching from many small bites has finally subsided!!) Bring some COP for homemade ice cream!!
This was a fantastic hike up a creek to a waterfall, not much experience needed and the guides were really helpful on some of the challenging bits. You really get the feel that you’re looked after and it’s a great outdoor activity that’s not too far outside of the center of Medellin! Also feel like I left having learned more about the nature surrounding Medellin and the history thanks to our very inflomativs guides. Highly recommend it if you’re planning on doing it with a group or even solo!
