Top Los Cabos Snorkeling

Great experience for family and friends. Marco and Javier were super awesome! They helped my limited mobility mother into the kayak and out on to the beach and back, really stellar and accommodating. Wish we spent more time near the arch. You kayak like 30 min to the arch area but still a ways away from it, take a few pics and kayak to a beach. I get it though, the waves are intense and they don’t want you getting hurt so they keep a good distance from the arch area. Once you get to the beach they give you granola bars and whoever wants to snorkel Javier took us out. Super cool fish. Lots of jellyfish so I ended the snorkeling earlier. Some other people on the trip kept going and they got stung. Then you kayak back to shore and wrap up. All kayaks are doubles and they are “glass bottoms”. By that I mean there is some plexiglass but honestly you see more just looking into the water than in the little cut outs of the kayak. Overall for the price of the tour, it was very good and we all had a great time.

Left right on time with an awesome, high‑energy crew who clearly just wanted everyone to have a great time. The boat ride out to the snorkeling spot was smooth and fun, and the crew kept the drinks flowing the whole time. Tons of fish to see while snorkeling—definitely did not disappoint. And the highlight? We spotted two whales on the way back to the marina! Such a great surprise and an amazing way to end the trip.

We had a wonderful boat ride! We went at 4pm so we could see the sunset and it was spectacular. We were able to swim first while there was still light then got to see all the highlight and relax while the sunset. It was very wavy on the Pacific side which my 9 year old did not love but survived!

Manta Ray is a quality operation, and this was a perfect activity with our teenagers who had never snorkeled before. We had some delays and arrived late, but they worked out getting us to the group. They outfitted us with wet suits (water was a bit cold), fins and masks. Everyone in the shop was friendly and experienced. Divemaster Miro was very good with instruction. We saw many kinds of fish and also some sea lions on pelican’s rock. Lover’s beach was closed to everyone because of high waves. Jonathon (Primo) drove our boat. He was great, very knowledgeable and friendly. He had water and cookies for us, which was just right. We saw a whale and calf, and he followed it so we could get a better look. This put us amidst many boats, but he did an expert job of navigating the crowd and getting us good sight lines. We got some great views of El Arco too.

This excursion was FANTASTIC. They picked us up from our hotel in Puerto Los Cabos, which was quite a ways away from the Los Cabos Marina, about 2 hours early. Upon arrival, we checked in and we set in an area with other folks that were going on our excursion. (We found out that Cabos.Adventures has many excursions and they all meet at a central hub). As they walked us through the marina to the catamaran we found out that this vessel was brand new! Gorgeous! (3) decks, (2) bars, a DJ, a cooking area, etc. As we set off, the music began and the party started! It was prime whale watching season when we were there so we got to see MANY whales, and their new babies, fluking and breaching! It was a sight to behold! The captain even went off course a few times to get a bit closer to the whales! Our first stop was the famous arch rock formation. It was amazing! The captain stopped for a long while so we could see it, take photos and just enjoy the beauty of it all. In Route to our first snorkeling stop, they gave us a little fresh fruit bowl with yogurt and granola. Delicious! Upon arrival to the snorkeling spot we got out our "gear" which included full face mask snorkels which we flew with us all the way from Michigan. The masks are big so it was quite a feat to get them to Mexico. The crew came around with flippers for our feet and noticed our masks. They said we could NOT use them and we had to use their basic snorkels! We were NOT happy!! We did comply, however, but it just wasn't the same experience as using a full face mask. The water was cold and a bit cloudy (from all the boats stirring up the water) but we could still see the marine life somewhat. We did have a good time out in the water. We all felt very safe as several crew members went out with us to keep tabs on us. Making sure we are safe and having fun. They did a really good job with that. Onto our second stop they served us ceviche and also guacamole in cute little corn tortilla cups. VERY good! Our second snorkel spot was much the same as the first. Still a bit cloudy (not as much as the previous one) so we did see much more sea life there. We had about 45 mins or so of snorkeling at each spot, which is perfect! Once back on the boat, they opened the bar for cocktails (you can't drink while snorkeling so they wait until that activity is done). They served us mini bean and cheese burritos and also grilled chicken sandwiches. Both were delicious! The drinks were great! The whole experience was just amazing! We saw so many whales, sea lions and underwater marine life. The weather was beautiful and the water was so calm!! We were on a 4-hour excursion with them but could have stayed on the boat for another 4 hours! The boat was new, very clean and well laid out. The bathrooms were beautiful too! The staff was friendly, chatty and really fun! Overall a wonderful experience. At the end of the excursion, there was another holding area for everyone as we waiting for the transportation. They had really nice tables and chairs out on the marina to enjoy the boats. They also had a gift shop and a snack/coffee shop with sandwiches, pastries, beer, ice cream and the like. When it was time to go they came out and gathered everyone up and walked us to all our buses. It was VERY organized and the transportation was really nice. We were really impressed with the whole experience!

Cesar, Israel and Michelle were great hosts on our boat! We had a private tour and it was worth every penny. The lunch was plentiful, Cesar and Israel were helpful - made sure we were never without a drink. They took us to a great snorkel spot and we saw tons of fish. Then we got the opportunity to sail which was awesome! I cannot recommend this excursion enough. We saw plenty of whales too! If you’re looking for an excursion, this is it!

Such a wonderful experience for our entire family! The crew takes amazing care of everything. Snorkeling was great, we saw wales and enjoyed lunch and drinks on the boat. Our boys 3/5 enjoyed every second. They liked the snorkeling. The waters were not rough, no current and they have a bag of chip to feed the fish with, hundreds swam around us! It was beautiful. Snorkeling gear is provided, but not for children. We brought our kids their own -also want to bring them flippers it is a bit of a swim to the snorkeling area from the boat. We also brought noodles for them to hang onto and their own child's life jackets (adult life jackets are provided). The water in january is a bit chilly but you get used to it. I think you can also ask for wetsuits. We didn't need them! I wouldn't change a thing, could have stayed out all day! You won't regret booking with Cabo Sailing!

We were staying at a resort about 20 mins away and wanted to book something for the day. After reading reviews we chose to go with Cabo Blue - i’m so glad we did! The staff was incredible , the boat was nice and we saw so many things. Adrian & Brian were excellent, so hospitable, kind and fun loving!
