Excellent experience! The catamaran was clean and very well maintained. The entire crew was very attentive. They served us drinks & a delicious meal. We had a stop at el arco were we had plenty of time to take pictures and enjoy the view, then continued to the snorkel were there was plenty of marine life. We even got to see a group of turtles along the way.

What To Expect

Board your solar-powered catamaran at the Marina in Cabo San Lucas in the morning. Set sail along the coastal zone on the Sea of Cortez. The trip includes provided snorkeling gear so that you can snorkel among the abundant marine life.

Relax with a preferred drink from the open domestic bar, available throughout your sailing excursion. Soak up the sunlight while lounging on the catamaran's nets. You have direct access to the ocean or you can simply let the spray of the splashing waves wash over you. Pass by famous landmarks including Pelican Rock, Lover's Beach, Neptune's Finger, and the Arch at Land's End.

A Mexican taco buffet is served on board, with vegetarian options available.

After a delightful day, your tour concludes at the marina pier.

It was a super two for one as we saw some amazing whale activity on our way to the snorkeling site! Water was cold (early February) but invigorating. The captain and crew were friendly and helpful, the lunch was really good!

Wonderful experience!!!! They called the night before to tell me they didn’t have enough to take out the catamaran. Said they would do a private for my family of 8 for the same price. We had 1 on 1 attention and it was the best experience. Crew was absolutely amazing!!!! Drinks and food were above and beyond. Saw many whales, snorkeled and took in the sights. Made terrific memories we’ll never forget!

Incredible Cabo Experience – Perfect for Families!

We had an amazing time in Cabo San Lucas and this excursion was a highlight of our trip! We were visiting for my son’s senior trip and staying at an all-inclusive resort, but wanted to explore beyond the property—and this snorkeling tour was exactly what we were looking for. Booking was seamless and finding the meetup point was super easy. The first leg of the trip is about 1.5 hours and they hold off on serving alcohol until after snorkeling, which was great for keeping things relaxed and safe. (Just a heads-up if that’s something you like to plan around!) The boat felt spacious and comfortable—we never felt crowded or like we had to fight for a good view. The staff was incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive throughout the whole experience. After snorkeling, we were treated to a delicious taco bar lunch, open bar, and dancing on the ride back. The onboard MC was hilarious and had the whole boat laughing—including getting my 18-year-old son and his friend to join in on the Macarena! It was the perfect balance of adventure and fun. Highly recommend—10/10 experience!

Crew was amazing, directions not so much

The boat, food, and crew were amazing. The only complaint is the directions on where to meet at the designated time. I walked all over town for 30 minutes with crappy directions. The website brought me to an address that was never found. I finally asked a local for directions and he brought me to dock #4 where the boat is docked. It should have been more clear, and if they wrote "meet at the marina, dock #4", it would have been a simple find.

Long swim short view time.

Jumped in to snorkle. Saw fish, however the guide went quite some distance from the boat. By the time I got there and spent 4 minutes looking at only a few fish. Then back to the boat. So the boat ride was good but snorkeling was miserable.

Hello Jim and thanks for your comments. The snorkel activity lasts for 30m, although this may vary depending on your swimming abilities. There is a safety reason why we dock the boat at some distance from the snorkel site. Regardless, getting there from the boat should take you little time (2m-5m max). Once in the snorkel site, you'll be able to see different kind of fish that live there. We'll take your comments in count for next trips. Hope to see you in one of them!

Such an amazing experience, and well worth the money. Very easy booking and check in, and so much fun. All of the workers are professional, helpful and fun. Snorkeling was so fun and we saw lots of fish. The food was good and the drinks were great and the workers helped give you everything you need! Would do again!!

This was our second time on this cruise, it's an awesome ship with great food and drinks! These guys know how to put on a show and make you feel special. The snorkeling was good and we saw some cool fish, the water is choppy so they break up the group into strong swimmers and people who want to stick close to the boat, this helps a lot and the waves are quite strong so be aware! We will definitely book with Sun Rider again!

This was the best part of our trip. We would have stayed on the catamaran all day. The staff was fun and super attentive. I would say this a wonderful company if you are looking for fun and relaxation with great food and plenty to drink. We also saw many whales!!
