AMAZING experience!!!

This was genuinely one of the best experiences my husband and I have ever had! Everything went very smoothly, we did not struggle to find our tour guide or any form of transportation, it was all handled for us. We went on the tour at our own pace and it was all left up to what we wanted to see/do which I loved. I want to give a specific shoutout to our private tour guide, Begüm Hemmingway!! She was a big highlight of our day- such a sweet person and was so informative and did her job perfectly. She lived in Kusadasi, and took us to a place after the tour for lunch that she loved and recommended and the food was incredible. We became friends and loved every second of this long day of seeing such beautiful and unique history/sights. The tour felt so personal and we recommend this for sure if you want to explore Ephesus on a more intimate level. Ephesus was such a cool place to see and we are glad we did this, no regrets! ☺️

Best tour we have had. The guide met us and had a sign so we knew it was our tour. Very small group in an excellent vehicle. Walking around he even was able to assist my wife walking thru the site. This was an amazing tour thanks to our guide Selin, her energy and personal knowledge of her hometown Kusadasi and of the beautiful ruins of Ephesus showed the whole time. A half day is perfect. The best way to experience this amazing wonder is with a guide like Selin. We loved her insight, but she was also a lot of fun as she protected us from the larger crowds and knew the best picture spots. Surprisingly the indoor presentation was so unique we'd highly recommend it, no wonder it is widely acclaimed. Lunch was so good and fresh, she took us to a great place. We had a very good time. The process from leaving...

The process from leaving the boat to boarding our minivan was very efficient. Our Guide/Host was Gonca who was extremely knowledgeable about the ruins and the surrounding area. As it was just my wife and I the tour was tailored to our needs. We got a very personal tour and we enjoyed it immensely. Ensure you visit the terrace house. For anyone else thinking about this tour if your boat gets in early ensure you do the early tour. Not just to avoid the heat but the crowds. When we left Ephesus the line of buses and cars was extremely long. On the return journey to port we visited Heirloom weaving centre. A local co operative teaching skills to local women. The time and skill to make each article whether silk or wool was amazing. Some time was spent showing us the many different designs, colours and materials. This co operative also had a jewellery section with lots of options for you to look at. This also supported the locals. We had a exceptional day.

Amazing Day

Amazing experience. Our tour guide Cem was excellent. We learned a lot from him on the tour. He was patient and ensured to cater the excursion to meet our needs. We were traveling with two 14 yr olds and two 19 yr olds so he adjusted as needed to keep them entertained. We had a private tour so it was easier for the modifications. It was such a diverse day of experiences and we truly enjoyed it. I would highly recommend.

Highly Recommend

Ilgu was fantastic. Super informative and considerate taking note of shaded areas for explaining what we were going to see ahead. Our teenagers were more engaged and enjoyed this more than other tours in Rome. The transportation was also very nice picking us up from the port and getting us back in plenty of time.

Cem is a gem!

Cem (pronounced “gem”) was an excellent tour guide! He was friendly and knowledgeable. We visited Ephesus and toured the ancient city and terrace houses, which should not be missed! We added a stop at the House of the Virgin Mary, and Cem and the tour company were easy to work with in making the change to the itinerary. We also stopped at the Temple of Artemis and had lunch and a rug tour which was fascinating! We would definitely highly recommend this tour and specifically Cem!

Mary's home and Ephesus are must see if youre traveling to the area. To have a personal guide through it was absolutely amazing. Adam was a wealth of knowledge and kept us entertained as well. We really enjoyed going to the carpet making school & of course had to buy one too! Our driver and Adam were kind enough to take us to an extra place where we loaded up on Turkish delight. I thoroughly enjoyed this trip!
