Great day out

A really good day out. A bit of a journey to get there, but went surprisingly quick and well worth it. The guide (Mert, I think, sorry if spelt wrong) was friendly and informative., but also allowed us the time to go where we pleased so that we could choose how we divided our time between Hierapolis and Pammukale springs. We were lucky with the weather which always helps and it wasn't too crowded also. Although we booked the tour for Pammukale, the guide recommended we did The Grand theatre first and that was good advise - great views and v impressive sat at the top. V much worth the walk up the short hill and doing before wet feet of the springs. We recommend this trip and company.

We booked this tour because my mother has mobility issues and I was afraid the cruise ship tour would go too fast for her. I’m so glad I did!! Our guide, Melih, was waiting for us just outside the customs building as promised. After a short walk to the vehicle, he proceeded to give a knowledgeable and interesting narrative of Ephesus now and from long ago. The tour lasted approx 6 hours We visited Mary’s house, Ephesus, and the temple of Dianna. Then we had a delicious lunch and watched a rug-making demonstration. The rug salesman was friendly and not too pushy. We had the option of visiting a local ceramics workshop and a local leather workshop. We chose the ceramics shop and were impressed by the hand-made items! Melih was very attentive to how much we walked and made it a point so walk slowly. I am so thankful that he was patient with us!

Ephesus is… everything!

Ephesus was one of the most special places we visited. We saw the Virgin Mary house, Ephesus, the Terrace Houses, had the included Turkish mezze lunch, viewed the weaving school, St John Basilica and Temple of Artemis. Nagi was our guide and we also had a driver for the luxury Mercedes van. We had the loveliest day with Magi and could easily have spent another 8 hours in Ephesus, there is just so much to see.

We were so happy to have...

We were so happy to have Orkan guide us through the local sites of Kusadasi. With my 78 year old mother, we needed to customize the experience to meet her abilities. He quickly navigated us to have the optimum time to visit Mary’s house, ahead of the crowds, then told us all about the local history. We wanted to try some local Greek olive oil and he knew just the place. We were in port on a holiday and he and our driver knew the perfect way to navigate the crowds to get us back to our ship quickly. And bonus - when my husband left his expensive sunglasses in the van, he was so sad. He knew we would never get them back. He contacted Viator and the driver swung back to the port to drop them off. We are SO thankful! We will use Viator again and again. Thank you to Orkan for making our stay so educational and enjoyable!

We traveled as a group of 4. Gufte was amazingly knowledgeable and we had a fabulous day. We asked for a revision to visit the Basílica where St John is buried and she happily accommodated. We researched many options and have done several tours and this one is hands down the best. English was amazing as well. We traveled in a new Mercedes van that was super comfortable. Best tour of our Greece visit

This tour is outstanding. The van is an impeccable mercedes and the driver is great. Gufte our guide is EXTREMELY knowledgeable about the history of Ephesus, the Virign Mary's home and Artimes temple. She gave us ample time to photo and options for additional stops. We had a lovely lunch at family owned restaurant. Don't miss this tour, it's sublime. Take good tip money, she and the driver deserve it!

Well run private tour to main sights in Ephesus

This was a private tour for just my wife and I. We were picked up from the cruise port and had a large comfortable car with both a driver and a licensed guide. Our guide, Pilar, was friendly and knowledgeable.she was happy to answer many questions , not only about the history of the sites but also about Turkish culture and life. All entrance fees were included. It was definitely worth visiting the terraced houses. The number of visitors was much lower here and we saw stunning mosaics, frescoes and decorative marble. The main site was fascinating too, as was the visit to the Virgin Mary House. We finished with a pleasant meal in a traditional restaurant. We did agree to visit a ceramics place, as we had a bit of time before the restaurant opened. It was a family business going back multiple generations and we saw a pot being made. The quality of the goods was very high. We declined the offer of a visit to a carpet workshop as we had no interest. This was not a problem. Our guide gave us plenty of time to see everything that we wanted

Very good value for money, Turkish bath was excellent. They did try and upsell but wasn't pushy, extra $45 for classic massage was well worth it. Quality Mercedes transfer there and back, pick up point is literally just outside the port entrance. Property is very authentic, don't expect Champnyees !! staff were very nice and spoke very good English.

Tour to Ephesus , Mary , and John’s Church

First Zafer Bozoglu was our tour guide. He was so friendly and knowledgeable about Mary’s home , Ephesus and John’s church and burial site. He asked us what we wanted and shaped the itinerary to see the sights and helped us recreate the history of these 3 sites. We spend the majority of our time in Ephesus recreating the history as well as focusing on Paul’s mission to the Ephesians as if we were back in 1st century AD. We learned a semesters worth of information In a few hours. This is the ONLY way to do this tour. Zafer was an A++!
