This was an amazing tour! We travelled in a very nice mini-van limousine. Our guide, Tansu, was very friendly and knowledgeable. She explained everything in great detail. We were able to take our time and not feel rushed.

This was a great and personal tour. we had our own guide and driver. Selenay eas outstanding. She is bright, knowledgrable and very personable. She was great to spend the day with. Inaddition hreat sites, we had a cool traditional lunch and saw how handmade carpets are produced. The historic sites were fascinating as well. I wholeheartedly recommend this tour.

We had an amazing day with Inan our guide who is not only an amazing guide of history and archaeology, He truly knows this area well. We went to House and Mary first to avoid long lines of other fellow travelers and then onto Ephesus. We enjoyed a fabulous lunch at the Green Farm restaurant if you have a choice, choose it.

This was the best experience we’ve ever had with a guide! Fusun was absolutely amazing! Her manner is relaxing but engaging, informative, interesting with many little details and insights not found in many other guides. I felt I was with a family member exploring her home! BEST TOUR EVER! If you want the best tour, you HAVE to book with Ceren Turkoglu. She made our tour uniquely special! Ceren was full of knowledge and information about the area; she spoke from her heart and had the proper balance between sharing history, information about the country and new information about life in Ephesus. She personalized the tour just for us, giving us as much time as we wanted at Mary's Home. She did not pressure us into doing anything. We told her we did not want to buy a rug; she understood and asked us along the way what we were interested in doing. Not once did I feel like she had a hidden agenda to get us to do anything other than experience the culture and her beautiful country. I have food allergies and she was particularly attentive to my restrictions during our lunch. I wish we could have spent more time with her - she was delightful, informative, kind and truly one of the best tour guides we ever had!!! Thank you, Ceren!!!

We had an unforgettable day touring Ephesus and the House of the Virgin Mary with our guide, Nejdet and our driver Efe. From start to finish, Nejdet was professional, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. His passion for history and Turkish culture made every stop come alive. And Efe drove us safely from start to finish.
The visit to the House of St. Mary was peaceful and moving, and walking through the ancient ruins of Ephesus felt like stepping back in time thanks to Nejdet’s detailed explanations. We also enjoyed a delicious local lunch and ended the day learning about the beautiful art of Turkish rug weaving, such an amazing and intricate process!
If you’re visiting Ephesus, I can’t recommend Nejdet enough. He made our experience both educational and memorable. Absolutely one of the highlights of our trip!

Plenty of walking, great experience. As with many of these private tours, there is some selling going on, as you experience a rug factory, a pottery factory, and some others, but they are not pushy and many would find them enjoyable.

My wife and I along with two of our friends walked off our cruise ship and five minutes later we met our guide Emre. We were greeted with a smile and warm welcome, boarded a spacious transport van and we're off on what can only be said as n amazing and perfect excursion. Emre was a wealth of knowledge (has a degree in archeology and is well versed with how Roman and Christian history intertwined at these historical sites) and had a wonderful delivery. The day was well paced and little to no lines at every stop. If you are like me and worry about the details, like will I make it back to my ship on time, will it be hard to find my guide after leaving the ship, or will I understand the guide? No need to worry. Just request to have Emre as your guide. You won't regret it. Oh! The lunch was a nice experience in Turkish cuisine and the rug demonstration was interesting too. I did not feel too much pressure to buy a rug. I am so glad I booked this private tour after seeing the large groups following their guide with little opportunity to interact and questions. This was so much more interactive and no waiting for others to catch up with the group. I can't wait for my next excursion.

This was an amazing experience. Nejdet Kahraman was our guide for the day and he was very knowledgeable about Ephesus and the House of Mary. He had a wonderful way to impart the history of the area through artful story telling. We also went to the Weaving School where we had a traditional Turkish lunch and Nejdet ate with us to explain the different foods and all were wonderful! Our last activity was hearing about the Weaving School, seeing demonstrations of making silk and weaving the beautiful turkish rugs. It was also a wonderful place to buy authentic turkish products. It was an amazing day with Nejdet who was one of the best guides ever!

One of our best tours yet!
Alex was the perfect guide, schedule was set to maximize our time and avoid crowds. In addition to the sights we stoped at Lotus Ceramic Garden (family run over 400 years) and some of the most beautiful and unique pieces you will find in Turkey)
Lunch was amazing and we also got to see rugs being handmade at the same time.
Alex shard so much history and culture of the area and made this experience one of the best of our trip!

Private is the only way to go! Tour guide was waiting immediately at the port and was early so we could beat the tour buses to Mary’s house. She was very knowledgeable and professional. Ephesus was amazing. A trip will never forget.

If you have a choice of guides, ask for Fuson. She made our Private tour memorable. We had a delicious lunch before the carpet demonstration.
Although we did not purchase any carpets, we learned a lot about Turkish carpets and how the silk is made from the cocoons. The Ephesus tour was amazing. Fuson is very knowledgeable and moved with our personal pace.

Overall good with private coach for our group. Appreciate the partial refund when one of our party missed the tour due to illness. Enjoyed time at the historical sites, local lunch and able to go at our pace without a large group. Tour guide could provide more narration of historical sites, use a mic and headset so we could hear better. Last stop to the ceramic ‘museum’ was misleading as it was a shop that sells expensive but beautiful hand painted ceramics.
