Great personalized Ephesus tour

Best time of the year for weather, remembering the marble reflects and heats up a lot more later in July/August. We arrived on a cruise ship and didn’t want to be crammed onto tourist buses with dozens of other cruise ship tourists. After a quick online search we found it very easy to book this private tour and the Zephyros Travel team engaged with clear and immediate communication giving us a definitive pickup location with a map which we were met after getting off the cruise. They sent text communication as we pulled into port which was reassuring. This private tour covered the cost of the van and the guided tour and we paid for tickets at the sites (credit cards were easily accepted). The private tour guide, Yetkin (blue shirt in the photos) was thorough, knowledgeable, 14 year’s experience- studying at Uni level, English -very well spoken, made it personalized, changed the tour to suit, affordable. Yetkin had a comprehensive knowledge of all Turkish historical locations (not just Ephesus) which allowed for many discussions of where to visit in Turkey. Yetkin made our tour a joy and a time we will remember forever. The driver drove safely in a very clean & comfortable leather seated van. After seeing the ever increasing bus loads of tourists, we were so happy to have our own tour (which was cheaper than the cruise organised bus tours). We would highly recommend Zephyros Travel and ask for Yetkin as a tour guide if possible.
