Sema was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and engaging, bringing the history and culture of Istanbul to life with her excellent commentary and fascinating stories. She made everything easy and enjoyable, including helping us skip the long lines at some of Istanbul’s busiest attractions. During our tour, we visited the Basilica Cistern, Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia, the Grand Bazaar, the Hippodrome of Constantinople and the beautiful Blue Mosque. Sema’s knowledge of each site was exceptional, and having her explain the history and significance of everything we were seeing made such a difference. What really made Sema stand out was that her help went well beyond the tour itself. She recommended wonderful places for lunch, a fantastic rooftop restaurant for dinner and a Bosphorus cruise. She also gave us clear directions to Galata Tower and helped us plan what to see and do the following day when we were exploring Istanbul by ourselves. Thanks to Sema, we felt like we experienced so much more of Istanbul than we ever could have on our own. She was warm, organised, knowledgeable and genuinely interested in making sure we had an amazing time. Thank you, Sema, for making our time in Istanbul so memorable. An excellent day for a solo Aussie lady

An amazing experience. Comfy air con vehicle from Istanbul to Canakkale followed by a nice relaxed lunch before the tour. Our tour guide, Ibrahim, was incredibly knowledgeable with excellent English and a great sense of humour. We saw a lot of sites and the tour was just the right length of time to get to see important sites and have time for photos etc. My grandfather landed at Anzac Cove as an 18 year old and went on to survive the Western Front and came home at the age of 22. It was very moving for me to see the beach where he would have first put his boots on Turkish sand. I highly recommend this tour and Crowded House Tours for really looking after guests. Awesome day.

We loved our tour with Gulshen! She was very knowledgeable and we felt very guided and cared for as she took the care to purchase tickets for us while we were able to wait in the shade. It was very thoughtful and educational. She was also very accommodating asking us for our preferences and if we needed a break for bathroom or snacks. We also enjoyed the luxury van that drove us around! Very pleasurable experience, would highly recommend!

Incredible value, full day tour

We had an incredible day with Baki as our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and friendly and showed us all the main sites in Istanbul in a busy full day. In addition to the mosques and historical sites, we enjoyed food from local vendors, Turkish pancakes, coffee, and shopping stops described in the itinerary, which included ceramics, fashion, rugs, and pastries. The cruise at the end was the highlight! Overall we felt this was an incredible tour for a low price and I’d recommend it to any visitor.

Having a guide who is both educated and fluent in English. Makes for a seamless and fun experience. She gave us a historical and regional overview that really adds to our understanding. Had an incredible Troy tour with Hasan! His storytelling really stood out, blending history, mythology, and archaeology in a way that made the site come alive. The long journey was absolutely worth it, and the ferry ride added a fun touch along the way. Everything was seamless from start to finish, from the early hotel pickup to all the transfers and the drop-off at the end of the day. It is a full-day experience, I was picked up at 6am and returned around 9:30pm, with a well-paced itinerary that included lunch in Eceabat and a few hours exploring Troy itself. Best Day with Nehed!

My friend and I had the most wonderful day within Nehed! Thank you so much to our brilliant guide who expertly guided us through all of the beautiful and important landmarks of Istanbul. She took the time to tell us all of the history in great detail and made us feel very welcome in this beautiful city. She took us to a beautiful place for lunch where we had fabulous food, an amazing view fed the seagulls and even saw dolphins and other marine life. It was very sad to part with her as we felt like she became our new friend during the day. Feeding Frenzy

Be prepared to eat! You will try a whole lot of different Turkish food and you won’t be disappointed or hungry. There is a fair amount of walking so it balances out the day-long eating extravaganza. Ali was an excellent guide with a great knowledge of food and history. Well worth the time and the price.
