What are people saying about Helsinki

Great time in the woods, the sauna, and the lake!
Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable, and the combination of an easy going hike, lunch prepared for us in the woods, and Finnish sauna/lake jumping, made for a great day! I highly recommend this experience if you want a taste of the flora of Finland, and an authentic sauna. The hike is fairly flat for most of it, with a few small inclines and some roots and rocks here and there. They accommodated my dietary request for lunch as well.

Great Walking Tour of Helsinki with a great Tour Guide!
This is a GREAT tour - we saw the whole city, learned a lot and it was a great walk! But it all starts with the tour guide and he was the BEST! Our tour guide was EERO - and he was personable, FULL of wisdom and history of Helsinki. This tour was very informative - we visited most of what was listed on the tour schedule and saw a few stops that were not. But this certainly was a great tour - and a lot of this is because of our guide - EERO! Well worth the price of admission - this is a very affordable tour!

I was solo traveling in...
I was solo traveling in Helsinki and I knew I wanted to do a walking food tour. I’m glad I ended up with this tour. We started in the food hall and sampled several things there (too bad they didn’t have bear meat, which I really wanted to try). The seafood toasts were fresh tasting. We then walked around the town and continued our tour, tasting creamy salmon soup and finished with dessert at a super retro spot. We even went to tour a bomb bunker (which is being used as courts and arenas for youth and adult sports at the moment). It wasn’t on the itinerary and I was so thankful to have gotten that experience. Great tour guide (Elodie).

Helsinki is a great town and Sergio is a wonderful guide.
Our tour guide Sergio did a wonderful job of making us feel welcome and providing history of Helsinki and the life of the citizens in Helsinki. The tour was a small group experience of about 15 people. We were picked up at the hotel by a small van and drove to key sites around town. The van experience finished at the Helsinki Cathedral from there. We walked down to the marketplace to take a boat ride to Suomenlinna island. Sergio guided us around the island providing a history of the fort. At the end, we arrived back at the marketplace to end our tour ended. I walked back to my hotel from the marketplace. It was about a half a mile. That day I put in about 16,000 steps.

Helsinki, the capital of Finland, is home to award-winning architecture, high-class Nordic cuisine, and a relaxed and organized pace of life that makes its residents some of the happiest in the world. But there’s no denying that the real draw of the country lies outside the city center, in the taiga forest, or one of the country’s many national parks. Helsinki tours let you experience both, with experienced guides leading city walks, hassle-free transport options, and day trips to reindeer country, the medieval town of Porvoo, or even across the Baltic to Estonia on a luxury cruise.
