John was a good tour guide with lots of knowledge of Finland. He showed me a diverse range of sights of Helsinki, limited by the short time available. Very enjoyable!

Appreciate the effort that the tour guide put into the overall experience but felt we spent too much time talking about the shopping malls and going around the city center in circles to fill up the 3hr booking. We were on our feet the entire three hours and were pretty tired by the end of the session. She seemed well informed about the history, architecture, and culture of Helsinki as well so we appreciated that.

The guide was really nice although her french we limited so it was more a we go from blueprint to bluepront and have the names of where we are. No really history of the city. It was not what was ecpected. Not is avarage as, as said, the guide was really nice.

The Finntastic tour we had booked cancelled at the last minute so we booked a Lokafy experience and it was a better choice anyway. The Lokafy concept is to be personally shown around by a local, not necessarily a professional guide, and in doing so, we got more of an insight into Finland.
Ilari showed us all the main sights we wanted to see and some more. Before we got started, he asked questions about our interests and took the time to understand them - culture, architecture and history.
It was a wonderful two hours getting to know a local and being shown around their neighbourhood in a private and personal tour.

Jorge, a Portugese transplant, was quite knowlegeable about Finnish history and the local sites. He also accomodated our interests of art and culture by noting specific sites and areas of intetest in those fields.

Our tour guide, Ahmed, confirmed at 10pm the night before then didn't show up for for private tour. We waited and waited and sent him whatsapp messages and not only did he not respond but he then switched off his phone. In the end, we gave up and went to the tourism office and signed up for a free 'green cap' tour, which was pretty good but we had high hopes for our original tour and were very disappointed.
Although we booked Ahmed through Viator, he was with a company called Lokify and Viator clearly subs out to Lokify. We have had two no-shows with Lokify and our third experience with them was mediocre. We suggest you avoid any tours with Lokify and check carefully when you book on Viator.

My wife and I signed up for a 2 hour walking tour with the guide Juliette. Juliette was very informative about the surrounding area, she provided excellent tips about the city, and made our tour very enjoyable. She was humorous and fun to be around. As this was our first Lokafy experience, we weren't sure how it would be, but after talking to Juliette for a few minutes, we were glad we signed up for this. I would recommend this experience to anyone visiting Helsinki.

Marc was absolutely great he is very experienced! The previous day he asked about our preferences, and he prepared an excellent tour with information about the places and local things. He sent us links of restaurants and stores to visit and passed by some of them. Highly recommended.

Considering the context of the tour, my expectations were not that the guide would have extensive knowledge of history and culture, but she absolutely did. I could not recommend this enough.

Our guide was exceptional. She made our visit so much better. Her wealth of information about the country, city and local places made all of the difference for us. I would highly recommend this personal tour. Marina ( forgive me if I am spelling her name incorrectly) is a gifted tour guide and a lovely person. If we were staying longer we'd be requesting additional tours with her.

We had a terrible experience with Lokafy. About 16 hours before the scheduled tour I knew our first flight was delayed and we would likely miss our connection, thus making it impossible for the tour to occur as scheduled. The tour guide was unable to accommodate us at another time and Lokafy refused to accommodate us or give us a refund since it was less than 24 hours before the scheduled tour. There was no outlay of anything on their part and they were adamant and uncompromising. For circumstances that were completely out of my control, with plenty of notice, they were very uncompromising and unsympathetic.

Nice walking tour of downtown Helsinki. We didn't have much time in Helsinki for anything else, and this tour covered what we wanted. Guide spoke English very well and was a pleasure to spend time with. I would definitely recommend it to anyone with a short amount of time, such as a long layover (which was our case).

Going through the new library (the Wave) and walking through the covered market and really seeing and getting a feel for how the residents of the city live, work, and enjoy the various parks and public spaces- a nice break from the typical city tours
