Start your tour in central Helsinki by boarding a comfortable coach, putting on your headset, and selecting from 11 available audio languages. Then, relax as you travel through the city’s main districts and landmarks, with the audio commentary bringing each sight to life.
The route passes key highlights such as Senate Square, home to Helsinki Cathedral and the Government Palace, as well as nearby Uspenski Cathedral. See the Finnish National Opera House and Finlandia Hall, a striking 1970s concert venue built from Italian marble and Finnish granite.
Along the way, stop either at the underground Temppeliaukio Church—also known as the Church of the Rock, carved directly into solid stone—or at the Sibelius Monument, created in honor of Finland’s most famous composer, Jean Sibelius.
As you ride, choose the relevant audio segments to learn more about each landmark and uncover stories from Helsinki’s past.

Hope for better weather. Cold, overcast day. Good chance to visit some out-of-the-way places which deserve a look.

Great way to see a different part of the City. The bus was still a little cold in winter but if you’re bundled up it was fine.

Good to get an overall view and impression of the city. Not enough commentary and not always sinked. One part said welcome back from the Rock church but we had not even stopped there, and in fact didn't even see it from the bus.

The recorded commentary was interesting not boring. The two stops were just the right length to walk around a little, take a couple photos, and use toilet if needed, without getting too cold (at least on the day I took the tour). The length and departure time of the tour were ideal as well.

The tour covered a few key spots in the area. I was excited to be able to jump off in the middle of the ride to go to the Viking museum. I can hop off go to a museum and hop back on to get to another attraction.

Did not give much information. A LOT of time spent with music. Often when they did talk, it was after the site. Neither of the two stops were worth anything. Not what I've experienced with previous Viator bus tours. Very disappointing.

A good way to see parts of Helsinki we otherwise wouldn't have seen.
The tour was through headphones from a recording, so no guide. There was a guide to check us in, but she exited at the first stop.
There were two stops where we could get off the bus to take photos.
It's not a hop-on / hop-off tour. We had already done a lot of walking on our trip, so this was a nice high-level sightseeing tour to view more of the city.

Great information on this tour and a 20 minute stop at the Church in the Rock. Very worthwhile. Highly recommend. No other stop offs but was snowing so wouldn’t have anyway!

We were shown almost all of the important landmarks. The audio was clear and insightful. The crew was friendly, interior of bus was warm and ride was comfortable. The only landmark we missed seeing was the Helsinki Cathedral, but this was a 5 minute walk away from the bus drop off point, so it wasnt a big deal. Definitely recommend to get a quick overview of the place.

Throughly enjoyed our tour. We visited Helsinki in January so taking a bus tour was ideal. The audio was offered in several languages so I think it would be open to most visitors. We saw all of the big tourist attractions and were given time to visit the Rock Church. Worth the money and our driver was great. Not sure how he negotiated some of those streets with all the snow/slush, but he did!

This tour did not stop at the Sibelius Monument or at the Temppeliaukio Church as advertised. Super disappointed as I wanted to see the church. Otherwise the tour was ok.

We are very sorry about the disappointment. Unfortunately at your tour day the Temppeliaukio Church was closed and access to the Sibelius Park was also temporarily closed. In case it's not possible to stop either at the Temppeliaukio Church or at the Sibelius Monument, the stop is at the Olympic Stadium.
We will improve the advertisement.

Great introduction Timon to the city. We took an 11:00 tour so there was plenty of light. We had a later tour with our Scandinavian tour group, but it was dark by then.

The trip was what you would expect - an easy bus tour around the city with a prerecorded audio. However, the bus was comfortable, the audio was relatively entertaining, and the people working on the bus were very nice. Hence the 5 stars - for what it is, it was a good tour.

Is an excellent way to take a taste of Helsinki.Cosy and warm bus takes around the city with very informative audio guide.The only stop is the rock church that definitely worths the visit. Definitely recommended.

It was a terrible rainy day which spoiled the views from bus !
The commentary was often out of sync with ride so difficult to relate to where in tour we were ?
Bad weather meant seeing attractions was difficult .
Guides not helpful in solving. Problems.

Excellent tour. A little different than the 24 hour hop on/hop off tour. Excellent commentary commentary on the sights through the individual head sets in you language.
