Family Salt tour

Went with a large group of 11 plus baby. Was pleasantly surprised on our experience. Our guide was very informative and learned each of our names. The salt tasting was great and they accommodated an allergy. Would recommend taking a sun hat or umbrella as you stand out in the sun for a bit during the tour. We ended up buying lots of different salts. Would love to come back again to try the foot soak.

One of our favorite parts...

One of our favorite parts of our trip!! My husband and I started our morning off with this tour and had the best time and were absolutely studded by the end! They were very generous with each of the stops they took us to and we got to try all sorts of things we had never encountered before! The tour guide was super helpful and checked in with us throughout the tour and gave us many other great restaurant names/places to go later on our trip. This was my husbands favorite part of our vacation!

Best food tour in Kona

This was a phenomenal food tour. Probably one of the best ones I have been on. The guide was awesome. Kai took care of us from the get go. Tons of food and drink on this tour. It start with a good amount of History on Hawaii and right off the bat we are drinking and having chicken salad sliders. Then a chocolatier. The chocolate was outstanding - made with honey - amazing. Then Mai tais, and then Poke - wow was that good. We then got Avacado fries and a unique drink at Papa Kona’s. It was so good we went back and ate dinner there. A great place to eat and watch the sunset. Then on to Laverns for some of the best fish and chips I have had on not only the Island but everywhere else. They use a beer batter that is insane and homemade tarter so good I used it for the fries too. The fish was the ono fish and it was thick and delicious. Finally desert at the Gypsie Gelato. The ice cream there is truly good. This tour has it all and Kai made it special. You wont need to eat much after this. Plenty of food and drink. The value of the tour is worth it and i would do this again. Thanks Kai!!!

Amazing and delicious!

We had such a wonderful time at the exotic fruit tasting! It was the perfect mix of fun, educational, and absolutely delicious. We got to try around 10–12 different fruits while learning where they come from, which parts are edible, and so many interesting facts about each one. We tasted fruits like snake fruit, white pineapple, rambutan, mountain apples, and several others I'd never even heard of before! The guides were incredibly friendly, engaging, and made the experience even more enjoyable. They were especially sweet to our son and made his day by giving him extra fruit to try. I'm already sad knowing I probably won't be able to find most of these fruits back home! At the end, they even gave us a tray so we could take our favorites with us. There were a few little bugs around, but honestly, that's to be expected when you're sitting in the middle of a beautiful tropical forest. A quick wipe of bug spray was all it took to keep them away. If you're looking for a relaxing, unique experience while learning about Hawaii's amazing tropical fruits, I highly recommend this tasting!

We had a great time tasting a ton of different fruits including a few we'd never had before (chikoo/sapodilla, bilimbi, Thai mango) and some I'd never had so fresh (soursop and jackfruit). Our guide was so knowledgable and entertaining. He gave us background on the farm and a lot of details on the fruit.

Stephanie was great. She left no stone unturned about Oahu. I liked that she was able to hit the highlights but also customize it so we could see Oahu through her eyes. Overall, it was well worth the trip. The food was so good along the way. We had a great night's sleep after we returned!

We actually had our tasting during the owners son’s graduation party and they treated us no less than family, they shared their meal and graduation dessert with us like they had known us for years. When I saw this as an excursion there was no way I was going to pass this up. My family and I loved it. To see how the Maui Gold pineapple is grown and hear Rudy speak about it with such passion made our experience all that more enjoyable. We enjoyed the pineapple and now consider ourselves pineapple connoisseurs (jk). To end our adventure with a delicious farm to table dinner was a cherry on top. Mahalo Rudy!

Excellent food bike tour—highly recommend!

Kelly was a fantastic guide: friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely engaging. He shared great island history throughout the ride, which added so much to the experience. The food at every stop was amazing; each place was a standout. A really special bonus was that Kelly made a lovely video of the entire tour and sent it to me afterward. Such a thoughtful touch! This tour was a highlight of my trip and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.
