What are people saying about Hawaii

Book the experience!!
This is a MUST DO if you’re visiting the Big Island!
As someone who is absolutely terrified of the ocean, I was so hesitant to do the manta ray night snorkel… but I am SO glad I pushed myself to do it. It ended up being one of the coolest experiences I’ve ever had!
Our tour company was fantastic. The 3 guys who took us out were super laid back, engaging, and made everyone feel comfortable. They were especially supportive of anyone who was nervous or having a hard time being in the water, which I really appreciated. They provided the top half of a wetsuit, and I definitely recommend wearing it. Even in the middle of July, the breeze once the sun goes down gets a little chilly. The water stays warmer, so it wasn’t unbearable at all, but I was happy to have the extra layer.
One thing I learned is that it honestly doesn’t matter which tour company you book with because everyone goes to the same manta viewing area. There were at least 10 boats and groups out there the night we went. At one point, we even took our light boards over to a couple of other groups and connected them all together into one giant light source to attract the manta rays even closer. We were in the water for about 45 minutes, which was the perfect amount of time for our group. We saw so many manta rays, and watching these gentle giants glide just inches below us was something I’ll never forget.
If you’re on the fence because you’re nervous like I was, do it. I promise you’ll be glad you did. This was easily one of the highlights of our entire Hawaii trip.
10/10 recommend!

Just do it!! It was the best tour we ever had.
Kawai was the best guide we have ever had on a tour. We had such an amazing time, and all the fun photos were great. All admission fees were paid for by the tour group. We made so many extra stops, had a great time, and learned so much. I would take this tour again just for the fun time.

It was a wonderful day...
It was a wonderful day seeing and learning about Hawaii. The coffee stop at Kona Joes was peaceful and beautiful. Our guide Kevin was so knowledgeable and shared information throughout the day. He really wanted to ensure each of us had a great experience. I loved the black sand beach. Volcano National Park was beautiful, walking through the lava tube, seeing the craters, feeling the rain, and smelling the light sulfur. Overall it was truly a fantastic day!

10/10 Would Book Again!
Our driver was Clift, who gave us his "Clift Notes" providing a detailed itinerary for seeing all of Pearl Harbor activities, making the day not only possible, but very smooth! He also taught us about Hawaiin traditions and the history of the island of Oahu and specific sites in Honolulu as we drove. Amazing experience!

If you don't know that...
If you don't know that you will be seasick just take precautions and buy the anti-nausea medication and take beforehand. 🤮This is a very nice trip and the food is quite good🍹😋 so you don't want to ruin it for yourself.
The boat is very nice and new, has all the amenities in the right places.I liked the crew, very nice and will go out of their way for you.

Good communication with...
Good communication with the company. We got a little lost trying to find the pick up location at the Hilton Hawaiian Village and arrived past the time we were supposed to be there. I texted the company to make sure we hadn’t missed pick up and they replied back to me very quickly to assure me that I had not. Our tour guide, David, was very nice and informative. He offered us cold water, granola bars, and Hawaiian juice on the tour. A very smooth experience!

Fantastic Tour of Kona Sites
Robert was a fantastic tour guide who kept us well informed of everything we drove by and gave us a history lesson on the Hawaiian culture. He was so enthusiastic about the sites we visited and talked non stop during the drive. I highly recommend taking this Kona tour.

Highly recommend! Great day with Kobe at the helm!
The road to Hana tour was lots of fun, with so many amazing things to see, and our tour guide, Kobe, was absolutely awesome! From seeing turtles on a gorgeous beach with surfers testing the waves, to swimming in a waterfall, having lunch in a park with a beautiful black beach to breathtaking sights all along the way –this tour exceeded our expectations,. We would highly recommend this tour and if you get Kobe as your guide, you will have a blast!

Great experience!
Book with Redline if you want the opportunity to snorkel different spots on the same tour in a smaller group! We got to do the front side and back side of Molokini, and a couple of other areas that turtles frequent. Just as the front side of Molokini was getting busy, we got to go to the backside and only had to share the water with one other boat of similar size, we were the only boat at the last couple of stops. We got to see plenty of colorful fish, turtles, and a reef shark. The crew was great, made the experience very enjoyable. The captain also gave us a great restaurant suggestion that was our favorite meal during our stay.

Entertaining and...
Entertaining and informative harbor and river tour. Captain Stevie and 1st mate Becca were friendly and welcoming. Nice selection of beers and wine plus margaritas.
We had a great time and learned about Kauai despite the clouds and light rain obscuring our sunset.
Comfortable and safe boat with minimal wave roughness.

Kauai Cruise Ship Shore Excursion Journey to Waimea Canyon
This excursion on the island of Kaua'i was booked through Viator with Roberts Hawaii Tours. While the large bus was the most modern we were on during our time in Hawaii, and the driver/guide and tour itself were excellent, the meeting instructions given in advance left much to be desired. We were only given the time and an address for the pickup point. We left the ship as soon as we were allowed, after it docked, so we could figure out where the meeting point was, with little luck. Finally I phoned the number provided to get details. Somehow, Roberts Hawaii had been told that the ship would dock an hour later; so pickup would be an hour later. And, the description given to me of whom we were to look for was a bit vague. But, we did eventually connect. Our driver was courteous and very knowledgeable. We first stopped at the Hanapepe Valley Lookout, then at the Spouting Horn blowhole to see the water shooting into the air from the lava tube. We drove up the winding road to the Waimea Canyon State Park Lookout area. It was extremely windy and chilly this particular day, but it was definitely worth the climb and look! Mark Twain called this the "Grand Canyon of the Pacific". While it isn't as massive as the Grand Canyon in Arizona, it is breathtaking and beautiful. We could see a beautiful waterfall across the canyon from the lookout. In the winter, the colors of the canyon are more easily seen as there is less vegetation interfering with views; so we could see reds, browns and greens in the layers.
