The Pearl Harbor portion of the experience was outstanding and enlightening. It was an honor to be able to see the pride taken in this experience. I am honored to have been able to see this and learn what happened. The tour driver, David MacArthur was exceptional in providing information about the exhibit and then later, about Honalulu. I was so pleased to learn about Honalulu, too. It was obvious how knowledgeable David was. Thank you.

Jill was a fabulous tour guide. Highlight of our tour was seeing the March 10 eruption at Volcano National Park! Rainbow Falls was breathtaking as was Liliuokalini Gardens. The Big Island chocolate factory was a great stop too - especially all the delicious samples. Jill was great with communication pre-tour. Highly recommend this company & tour!

Ashley and Alex were so great. They educated us while finding SO many whales. You can tell they truly care about the species and we learned a lot, but we also got to see so many breaches! We saw flips and turns, spouts and tails... it was amazing! We saw 6 or 7 different whales, including a baby who was quite playful! The zodiac ride is not for the faint of heart-- it's bumpy but FUN and we loved our experience. We would do it again, most definitely!!

The crew was amazing and very knowledgeable of the Hawaiian culture which made the short walks from line to line very enjoyable, honestly made you wish some were longer as I loved learning about the people, place, and plants. Even in the rain, the lines were an absolute blast!

What a great experience! Aiden (sp?) and his crew did a fantastic job finding whales and dolphins to see. Aiden delivered information about the whales with humor and knowledge. Also the music onboard was great. What more could you ask for…beautiful water, whale and dolphin sightings and a great crew to make it a memorable experience for my family. The day is long but so very worth it. Our guide was awesome (Felix) made sure everyone was comfortable and well taken care of. He has lots of knowledge about the island and was very entertaining. He went above and beyond to make sure we got the most out of our experience. Thank you for a great day!!

We did the Maunakea Summit & Stars tour with Hawaii Forest & Trail on Thursday, February 12th, and it was outstanding from start to finish. Jason was our guide for a group of 12 in a microbus, and he was absolutely sensational. He has a fantastic speaking voice (sounds like actor Jeremy Piven) is incredibly knowledgeable, and effortlessly weaves together Hawaiian history, cultural context, correct pronunciations, geology, and celestial science. His depth of expertise—especially around the night sky—made the entire experience both educational and inspiring. He created a positive, approachable atmosphere for everyone in the group. Jason was attentive throughout the evening, making sure everyone was comfortable, well fed, snacked, and had ample time at the Stellina digital telescope for star viewing and photos. The pacing was perfect—plenty of time at the summit to take in the observatories and views, without ever feeling rushed. The entire experience felt thoughtfully organized and professionally executed. Highly recommend this tour—and if you can, request Jason. He truly elevates the experience.

Cousin Johnny was the star of this show! He is the absolute best narrator and made the day so much fun with his mini competition and mountain of fun facts! This tour hits 21 must see areas, getting off at about 9 of them. He taught us some hawaiin language, shared the culture, the importance of ohana and how important our differences are and how we should embrace them and each other. We got to try native coffee, fruits, shrimp, and the famous pineapple dole whip! Got to see turtles, snorkel a bit (bring your own equipment) and Pearl Harbor. I highly recommend this tour! Left about 8 am returned at 5.
