What are people saying about Ghana

Exceptional and Cultural Experience
My visit to Cape Coast Castle, Elmina Castle, and the Kakum National Park Canopy Walkway was nothing short of powerful, educational, and unforgettable. At Cape Coast Castle, our tour guide Joseph was exceptionally professional and deeply knowledgeable. He presented the history with clarity, respect, and compassion, ensuring we fully understood the significance of the site while creating space for reflection. His ability to balance historical facts with emotional awareness made the experience truly impactful. At Elmina Castle, Thomas was equally outstanding. His delivery was engaging and informative, bringing history to life in a way that was both captivating and thought-provoking. His passion for sharing the stories and preserving the legacy of the site was evident throughout the tour. The Kakum Canopy Walkway was an adventure! Walking high above the rainforest was exhilarating and offered breathtaking views. However, it’s important to note that getting to the canopy requires a vigorous, rocky hike. I would strongly advise that anyone with leg or back issues proceed with caution or reconsider, as the trek can be physically demanding. A special thank you to our driver Emanuelle, who was incredibly thoughtful, patient, and professional. He ensured our journey between locations was smooth, safe, and comfortable, adding an extra layer of ease to the entire experience. Overall, this was a deeply enriching and well-coordinated experience. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ghana who wants a meaningful blend of history, culture, and adventure.

Unforgettable tour with Emmanuel
Let me start with the Cons, of which there is only one. I booked this trip last minute on a Friday to go on the Saturday as the previous trip I booked with another operator was unexpectedly cancelled. The website clearly stated I could still book the trip up to about 12 hours before the start date and time. After receiving confirmation, a few hours later and late in the evening I got a call saying that the trip was canceled for that day (no reason given) and that I could choose another day. So, long story short I ended up going on the Sunday and it was a fantastic day. We were a small group of 3 solo travellers and our tour guide Emmanuel was absolutely amazing! He is so intelligent, knowledgeable and articulate, he made it so much fun! It was a long day but I wouldn’t say it was too much walking, and the mini bus was comfortable and air conditioned. Emmanuel gave us lots of opportunities to take pictures, and was able to answer every single question we had regarding history, geography and culture! We started the day visiting the Umbrella Rock and Boti Falls - both were incredible! We stopped for lunch and continued on with the rest of the tour before returning back to our respective accommodations. All in all I would say it is definitely worth the trip and I 100% recommend. Special credit to Mercy at Tetteh Quarshie cocoa farm who was also so full of knowledge and enthusiasm regarding the process of growing and processing Cocoa. I also want to mention our guide at Aburi gardens, whose name I can’t remember for the life of me! He was so passionate, knowledgeable and just made the tour so interesting and fun. Oh, and if you're thinking of booking, bring comfy shoes, and a water bottle - you'll want to stay hydrated! If you are wondering whether or not to book the tour, I suggest you go ahead! 😊

Exceptional!!
My family and I really enjoyed this experience. The instructor was patient and kind, and we learned to play traditional drums quickly. He also taught us a traditional dance and song. He was gracious, and his teaching style made it easy for us to pick things up. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

Sunday shopping trip to Makola Market
My husband and I had a wonderful experience exploring the market with Prince as our guide. We went to the market on Sunday midday and it was not crowded. Prince was a very professional, helpful, and courteous guide. And he customized the experience to what we were interested in. I would recommend taking this tour and our guide, Prince.

Ghana is a fascinating and diverse country—from its bustling capital of Accra to golden-sand beaches and a forested interior. Ghana tours make the country more accessible and help you get in touch with the rhythms of this West African nation, whether you explore the markets of Accra, the historical landmarks of the Gold Coast, or the wildlife-rich rainforest.
