Polite, efficient driver/guide able to narrate city landmarks and markets. Excellent professional guides at the Dr. Kwame Nkrumah museum and at the National Museum of Ghana.
Note that the Center for National Culture is actually an extensive flea-market type setup with a mixture of authentic Ghanaian art, Chinese-made "fakes," and old leather products. It's difficult to know what anything is actually worth, so I ended up not buying anything, despite the constant (and I mean constant) solicitations of the vendors.

It was a great experience. We toured all the city attractions. Our guide was knowledgeable, kind and patient. A little disappointed wasn't able to go to the W.E. Dubois Center.

The experience was good well organized but, we were told that together Dubois museum was closed and under renovations after we were halfway through the tour only to find out later that is was open and we could have gone. The museum was under construction but still open.

My husband and I were picked up from our AirBnB apartment which was outside of the zone. This was appreciated and the minibus arrived on time and was clean and comfortable. The tour guide, Porscha, was personable, friendly and helpful throughout the tour. It was a great day of education about the history of Ghana and its culture.
The only suggestion would be to include a lunch break around 12-1pm as opposed to it being at the end of the tour.
Overall a great day.

This tour really only covers the part of Ghana’s history that you can understand from Accra city, but it shows how deep the culture and history of the country can go.
It definitely helped that our guide, Emmanuel, was very knowledgeable about the city, including places that were not stops on this particular tour.

Prince was awesome!!! Extremely knowledgeable about the market and the history of Ghana. Reserve this tour....navigating Makola Market can be overwhelming and can overload your senses. Prince took away the anxiety.

I received a call and text the night before to confirm the pick up time. I received a call from Michael, the tour guide, a few minutes in advance and he and the driver arrived on time as they said they would.
The AC in the vehicle worked very well despite being an older minivan model. Our tour had a total of 8 people who booked; the minivan was fully loaded. Our tour guide did a great job making us feel comfortable with each other and them by having us introduce ourselves. They added great cultural context and insights at the start of the trip and headed to each site. Our comfort was attended to- water was offered frequently. Bathroom facilities were pointed out at each stop.
The handoffs to the site tour guides was very smooth. Each was knowledgeable and courteous- some were even quite humorous. We didn’t wait very long for each to start. Given there are so many locations, I could see that planning was in place to ensure a good cadence to our trip.
Michael was especially good in helping us navigate the overwhelming Makola Market and to assist in striking good deals. He gave us some great pointers on value also. It’s not very comfortable to negotiate prices when one comes from a place where prices are fixed; and anticipating that as a foreigner, prices are often escalated.
Admittedly, the projected timing for this excursion is ambitious. This took about 2 hours longer than I planned for. I don’t recommend having fixed plans afterwards. I did have to make some adjustments to my itinerary.
I thoroughly enjoyed this experience. I would 100% do it again and would recommend this tour guide also

Michael and Emmanuel were very enthusiastic guides who were easy to speak to and both quite knowledgeable about Accra. EBEN and Michael were very knowledgeable about the history of Accra and Ghana as a whole. Their incredible historical knowledge made our conservations very informative and enjoyable. We really enjoyed learning from them. They skillfully maneuvered us through the crowds at Makola market, they also helped us to capture each moment on camera, they were very willing to assist therefore allowing us to take home tons of memories.

This Accra city tour was packed with different sites to explore. Before the tour, we were sent some items to read in preparation for the day. Communication was prompt and professional.
Our van pickup was right on time, and we went to pick up others who had signed up for the tour. Our guide consulted the group to customize the experience to what we wanted to get from it. We did get to visit each site listed to varying degrees. some of the sites had their own tours, which were very informative. In the places that didn't have tours, our guide was very knowledgeable.
It was a great crash course in some of the main historical aspects of Accra and I'd recommend this as an intro to the city.
